      You got to make that clear? Because the elements against Christians are pretty happy causing this. They blame it on global warming? In Canada? That is despicable. They blame it on the pandermic? That is despicable. This is by design, it is totally by design to starve people out and put theworld in poverty, changing the culture to get people use to this. This is 100% political to make us dependent, abuse us, nothing to do with the factors they mentioned.

    Families use to be able to afford to buy houses with one income. Now even with 2 incomes Families cannot afford to buy homes. I earn about 80k a year, and there's not a chance that I could afford to buy a house. You need to earn at least $150k a year to even think about owning a home nowadays.

    • @TM-js1hh
      @TM-js1hh 3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      No actually according to the most recent Bank of Canada report to afford a house in Toronto you need a household income of at least $196,913… and even then you need to save for over 26 years to come up with a down payment. Hope prices don’t go up while you’re trying to save!

      @@hiddenpuzzles9925 That's false. Government employees annual pay raise has been capped at 1% SINCE 2019 via a bill. Governments aren't as flexible as the private sector which can increase income easier. Historically this is why during inflationary times prior to national downfall and then eventual restructuring government work becomes not worth while as the private sector far outpays it. In Russian, after collapse of the USSR, government workers had to take bribes to afford food, shelter and clothing.

      if you give everyone money it’s the same as not giving anyone money but just push up inflation. During the pandemic, the main motive of handing money is to keep property tax income tax rolling so government don’t go bankrupt. If the government really wanted to help is to cut expensive cut government funding cut tax stop banks from lending out property mortgage etc if they do hand out money they should hand out to actual people with no money

      They have to keep more people poor with pittance wages that they have no choice but to eat and drink the dirtiest food and water and keep on shining their shoes to keep them in comfort.
      Over the few years more and more people are working extra hours without pay especially those who works from home.
      Many people are loosing their worth as human beings and innate to others feelings too.

    If you’re working full time and still unable to pay the mortgage, bills and food and car then you’re either living beyond your means or not budgeting well. Those on minimum wage have to be earning enough to cover the basics and not having to work two jobs to do so. Everything is increasing apart from salaries/wages and it’s no wonder so many are having to live in cars or vans due to not having enough for rent. Something has to give. London, UK

      Completely different set of circumstances. I have friends and family who live in the UK, including a friend who happens to live in London. Typical prices in Canada > Family home in Toronto area or Vancouver: $1.0 million to buy or $2100/m rent; Basic car:$32000; Gas and car insurance:$600/m; Cellphone service $80/m; Internet $70/m; Grocery $400/m for family of four; Local transit:$120 per month per person; Drug store items: $80/m: Cloths: $100/m average for family of 4. Dental and eye care: consider average $150/m for the family. Income tax, sales tax, property tax, health care levy ($750/y if you make $72k or more) , special taxes on gasoline, alcohol will eat up at least half of your gross income. As an Asian who grew up in POVERTY in the Philippines, we HAVE to learn how to STRETCH out our meager resources and survive, now living here in San Diego, CA, I still carry those FRUGAL ways that I picked when I was in the Philippines and applied it to my family here, my children are also FRUGAL, we only BUY things that only need, we only drive a Toyota and Honda cars, which is CHEAPER to gas up and maintain, I do not have CREDIT card, I always PAY in cash and collect COUPONS. Newly arrived immigrants from the Philippines are advised by many fellow Filipinos that have lived in North America for a long time that debt is good, borrow money to pay off debt and strive for a high credit score. They clearly bought into the debt trap thinking it’s the only way to survive or progress in the US and Canada. As a result, many people live beyond their means because of access to easy credit and are stuck with high interest loans from purchasing SUVs and phones. Hamster Cage Debt living is what I call this. It’s refreshing to hear people like you still exist as this credit card lifestyle was promoted heavily by banks so they can make more money from consumers.
