An diesem Bahnhof wurden einmal an einem sehr heißen Sommertag gekühlte Getränke verschenkt, aber das ist bestimmt schon 10 Jahre her.

Super amazing video of the Basel SBB station. Loved watching the modern trams and the station structure.
The departing and arriving trains reminded me of my childhood when I used to go to the nearby train station with my father in the late afternoon to watch trains.
The shops look amazing and that Double-Decker TGV was so elegant to watch. The stark contrast between the Swiss trains and the German ICE was so interesting to watch.

Thank you Thomas for an extremely interesting video. But viewers should note that the Fahrradstation you showed at 17m 02s is not the main Fahrradstation. The main Fahrradstation is down in the basement and is huge! Indeed it is as extensive as those you see at the main Dutch stations such as Utrecht Centraal. (Reminder to British viewers - Switzerland is hilly!)
Basel SBB station certainly needs reconstruction. I know from personal experience that the existing main Passerelle, which you showed several times, can get extremely crowded!
