How-To APPL Hi, I recently got banned from Instagram in my iPhone so ip banned because it comes up with the error ‘Sorry but their was a problem with your request’ and i know my account hasn’t been banned because I can still login on my web browser so I must have got ip banned I have tried a lot of different methods such as the Facebook one, disabling my account but only one has worked the factory reset. So I am writing to you because when I factory reset my phone (erase all contents and settings) I obviously backup all my data on iCloud but when I factory reset my phone and start it as a brand new phone Instagram works and I can log in but when I restore backup it doesn’t work and come up with the same issue so could u help me with how to factory reset my phone and restore my backup without the same problem appearing again.

divya mulani I found out how to resolve the problem myself first turn on all the options on iCloud so it syncs everything then take an iCloud backup just in case anything goes wrong then reset ur phone completely(erase all content and setting) and set it up as a new iPhone when ur done u go and sign in your iCloud and it will automatically start restoring ur iCloud data that u had the options turned on for like all ur photos ur settings contacts messages etc. Then just go and download Instagram and problem solved! You will have to login in ur Apple ID urself and download everything again and the apps that can take iCloud backups should restore their data such as WhatsApp their will be an option when u launch the app

You might have to do a factory reset on your phone. That has worked for everyone that I have seen do it.

1: sign in; type in the username of the account you want to log into and the password and press on forgot password instead of login.
2: the “trouble loging in?” Page thingy should pop up.
3, I recommend putting your number because that’s what I did lol. After you type in your number press next and it should say “code sent”
4. Wait for the confirmation code and then type it in or click the confirmation code and press next
5. All your accounts that you have should pop up or the account you want to log in to and then just press on “log in” to whichever account you want to log into and BAM you’re in

So far, the only solution I see that consistently works is doing a full restore of your phone and setting up as new iPhone. Do not restore a back up.

It’s done , 2020 there is no possible way to log in anymore. I tried every way there’s just nothing you can do. I suggest if you are a big instagram freak just buy a new phone or upgrade.

You can sync stuff to iCloud and that will be fine.
aylistic I would say don’t sign out I found that out this morning I had signed out the night before and couldn’t sign in this morning how I have to keep myself signed in.
I had the same problem this morning it would say invalid parameter I deleted the app and reinstall it then when I tried to sign back in It would keep saying it for about 5 times then it said please wait a few minutes before trying again then it would sign me in now I have to keep myself signed in.

You have to delete the Instagram app totally. Then download it again from the App Store. You can’t just Add an account. That won’t work.

Yea you might need to backup your phone, then try to wipe it totally, without restoring he back up. Download Instagram and See if that works. If it doesn’t, just restore your back up.

What worked for me was when you are in the login page
, 1. press - FORGOT PASSOWORD -
2 PRESS NEED MORE HELP UNDER NEXT BUTTON -
3. PRESS SEND SECURITY CODE and it will send a code to your email .
4. PUT THE CODE IT SENT TO YOUR EMAIL
THEN IT WILL ASK YOU TO ADD A PHONE NUMBER AND NEW PASSOWORD
AND THEN IT WILL LOG INTO YOUR ACCOUNT!

After logging into my account through Facebook it showed me: "Sorry there was a problem with your request" What to do in such a situation? please help me... (EDIT- I was able to loggin via my sister's phone btw)
If you were able to log in on a different device, then you will probably have to factory reset your iphone, but the key is, you HAVE. to start new. You cant restore a backup, because it will bring the problem back. You can go to iCloud in settings and sync the stuff you want to save, like photos and stuff. That stuff should already be turned on. So when you set up as a new iphone, it should download your stuff from icloud. This has worked for a lot of people.

You will need to do a factory reset on your phone. Then set it up without restoring a backup. You can sync everything to iCloud but select new iPhone when you are setting it up again.

you’re a literal lifesaver!!! it took me hours to figure this out bc it didn’t exactly work the first few times so I went on the browser logged into Instagram there and went to edit profile , put my number and made a new email , reset my phone and downloaded Instagram and my account showed up! thank you so much!!

So, I would try to reset your password, but if that doesnt work then you might have to backup your phone and do a factory reset. I have seen that work for everyone but if you restore your backup, then it wont work, its weird.

Hello, I have tried pretty much everything to the point that I just got the new Iphone 11 Pro Max and I was so excited because i just knew Instagram would work for me on a new phone.... NOPE. Sure did not. But I can log on a friends phone and use the app just fine, I can also log in Instagram on the web browser on my phone and on a computer and it works...but not through the app. Very frustrating! Why wouldn't a brand new phone fix this?
The key is to NOT restore a backup. Try wiping the phone and starting fresh. Without restoring a backup.

If you do a forgot password, it should send you an email. Or just put in all of them. It will tell you if there’s no account for that email or not

So you will probably need to try to restore it again with your backup data. You can use iCloud and turn on the things you want backed up. It should store them in iCloud. You know what I’m talking about?

If you are able to log on with another device then it’s your phone. The only way I have seen a true fix is to factory reset your phone and set up as a new iPhone. You can sync stuff to iCloud but don’t restore a backup. That seems to work for everyone

Yea that’s against their rules. Try changing your password. Also try to search up your account from your friends phone. See if you can still find your account.
@@HowToAPPL Yeah I searched it and my account does show but it cant be accessed, I dont think Instagram banned my account, this app has some bug which affects the Instagram account ,all my friend who used this are now facing same issue. The app name is 'Followers for Instagram Spy'.

I think the only resolution to this might be to restore your phone. And DONT back up from iCloud, but set it up as a new phone

You must “Set up as NEW iPhone”... So you can try to upload your stuff to iCloud Drive and it should pull down after you set up your iPhone as new.

Yea you can log in on your old account, but don’t restore your old back up. Just set up as new iPhone.

If you’re able to log in on a different device then you will need to wipe your phone. But you can say everything to iCloud and just let it sync back.

CV So random I have fixed it .. literally all I did was one day tried to log in again on the app out of no where just to try and all of a sudden it logged me in so keep trying

My account got disabled for pretending to be someone else I appealed the decision and send all necessary id and that was it. I got a email saying your account was disabled by mistake and I should now be able to log in.

I can’t log in I tried change my password I was able to do that but still can’t log in, tried different internet connections, deleted and reinstalled app, still nothing.
I tried message Instagram about my account by filling in the form for appeal once again but it says your account is not disabled it’s active, my friends can view my account on there accounts so I know it has now been activated again but I just can’t get back in
Anyone been in a similar situation?
I have not seen it when they reactivate our account, but if you can reply to the case email from Instagram, send them a screenshot and let them know you can not log in. IT might be something they can fix.

Yea it’s your phone. The only way I have seen work consistently is to do a factory reset on your phone and set up as new iPhone. You can sync things to iCloud but don’t restore a back up.

I’m sorry, I didn’t see this comment. So you can upgrade your iCloud storage just for .99 cents for one month. Back up your stuff, then just downgrade your iCloud to free again.
Hi I have this exact problem , my iPhone is blocked by Instagram so I can log in with other devices and on safari but I can’t use the app at all . I even tried making a new account but this didn’t work either I did the factory reset, though I downloaded all the back ups that I saved and i still can’t log in so you say I have to start from zero like it’s a new phone? Can I log into my iCloud again or am do I have to make a new iCloud ???
I tried the facebook method using the iPhone of friend and it didn’t work by the way I still couldn’t log in
So you can sync your information to iCloud, like your photos and contacts and stuff. Then reset your phone and set it up as a new iPhone but you can still login with your old iCloud. Just don’t restore a back up.

Bro just wanted to join the comments and say they helped me a lot I believe the 100% fix on iPhone is to make a new iCloud it worked for me after trying every last thing on every TH-cam video. Unfortunately I don’t have any pictures or anything linked to my old iCloud but I backed those up on my computer yesterday so now I have to figure out how to merge those or if I can go back to my old iCloud now that it works again.

When you factory reset, try setting up as a new iPhone, don’t restore a backup. That should work

Your app is corrupt probably. The only way I have seen that fixed is if you factory reset your device but don’t restore a backup.

You can back your photos up to iCloud but u can o a full backup of the phone. You understand what I mean?

Go to settings, your profile at the top, then click iCloud, and you should be able to turn it on for the Health info. And it should load right up on your new set up. Backup your phone just in case, then try it.
I don’t know what to do my phone isn’t letting me delete any apps and that’s my last option. If you know how to fix this please let me know it’s been around 3 weeks since I got logged out

I posted this update on my channel. ⚠️ UPDATE: For those that have been having the Instagram login issue, it seems like the only REAL way to fix it is to completely restore (wipe) your iPhone, but DO NOT restore from a backup. You must “Set up as NEW iPhone”... So you can try to upload your stuff to iCloud Drive and it should pull down after you set up your iPhone as new.

so this happened to me and how i solved it was by simply deleting the instagram app for 24 hours and then i downloaded it again and it worked perfectly fine! hopefully this will help others

So i am having this issue on not logging in at all. I have been using codes from emails and phone numbers and nothing seem to work. Now i have read about resetting your phone is the only option and i am afraid to lose all my photos and data. Do i upload to icloud or backup my icloud? There’s two different methods in settings and i do not know which seems to be the best choice. I really need to log back into my account asap and i wanna resolve it the right way step by step. So if you go to settings and then go into your iCloud you can turn on things to see to iCloud. Make sure your photos and anything else you want to save is turned on. I would also do an iCloud back up just in case. I’ll be posting a new video showing how to do this.

Yea, there are two things that I would try. For some reason, people have said that you can change your phone date back to April 5, 2019 and then try to login to Instagram and it works. Then just change it back and don’t log out of your Instagram.
Another way that has been working for people, is to back up your phone and do a factory reset. But set it up as a new phone, do not restore your back up. Then try Instagram and see if it works. If it does not work then you can restore your back up. See if any of that works, and let me know please because a lot of people are having this issue.

I believe it is your phone, but I think Instagram breaks on a phone. I think it’s Instagrams fault, but if a factory reset did not work, then the only other thing I can think of is a new phone but that’s crazy. Go through the comments on this video and see what people said worked for them.

If you have this problem because your account was disabled for violations of terms like mine, JUST WAIT IT OUT! I was able to log into other accounts about 3 days ago and I had been IP banned for about 3 weeks. Except they did not restore my account, it’s still deleted.
Oh wow... but with many of these people, they can log on with different devices, so their accounts are fine. But yea bro some people’s accounts are banned.
How-To APPL well they’re most likely still IP banned on a specific device and that’s why they can’t log in. Regardless if they got an account banned or not
IP bans don’t work like that. They can’t ban a specific device by IP. They can only ban the public IP for that network. So if they IP banned them, then no one on that WiFi network would be able to log in. You are thinking about local IP addresses, but outside websites and stuff only see the public IP addresses, not the locals
