Beautiful video! Very crystal clear in detail. The reason for lack of snacks is that you can buy them at the airport & bring them onboard post-security. Plus the flight was less than an hour long.
A more honest appraisal would be that the seats don't have monitors. These are standard on many other airlines, even in economy class. Paying 14.95 for internet when you already purchased a 1st class ticket seems like that must be a mistake. No WAY. And the lavatories are so small you have to poo standing up.
Just a comment on anyone watching this video or ANY flight video... We usually fly AA 1st Class, and they are lovely! No matter where we travel around the world. I will add this little disclaimer as a courtesy to ALL flight crews on ANY airline. Please let them know how much you appreciate their service. Whenever we travel, we give a "thank you for your service" trip bag for our flight. As EVERYONE has experienced...stewards, pilots, or any person working for any airline have to endure some highly cautious situations in the last few years. We have always done this before COVID but realized the importance after that, that we need to appreciate what they are going through. Everyone on the flight is apprehensive in some form. That being said, our main concern is the appreciation we feel is needed for the flight crew. In the end... be kind because that is all that matters.
You get the exact same service on Economy on American so why pay the additional amount of money for the same service to fly first class on American? It's terrible United States Airlines service

American Airline is my favorite airline just because of the color and simply having the ability to go internationally compared to Southwest, also, what I noticed on this model airplane is that it makes an airplane sound flying sounds like at an ac area a bit and it normal to me. If you went a longer flight and internationally and took boeing 777 American airline first class, then they will give you good food.
Plastic cups in first class? Just flew Hawaiian airlines first class and they used glass cups. That extra touch makes a difference. But really can’t compare both airlines.
Yeah this was filmed back in October 2021 when many airlines still limited service on first class flights. Now American uses glass cups for first class passengers. It’s also very hard to stay up to date since airlines continue changing how they offer service.
I usually hate domestic FC. But that plane was in great shape. The seats looked nice, clean, etc. I still think that the only true FC or business class seat is a flatbed, if traveling more than 3 hours, but from Dallas to Kansas City, this looked great.
Yeah, in this case I was flying in Domestic First Class, American's true Business class is called Flagship First which has actual lie-flat suites. The seats like the ones on this flight are great though, and are perfect for flights that are 2-4 hours in length.

The FA sounded irritated which is a shame. It sets the tone for the kind of service you might expect the rest of the flight
