Today we have 4 identical teams that will be going to WAR on my island. Each team has around 35k hours in total, they've almost all been in an event before and we'll see who's the best, and who goes into the final for my $1000 cash prize.
What is Rust? Rust is an INTENSE PVP multiplayer survival game that I've played for THOUSANDS of hours. I've gone on MASSIVE Solo adventures, clan wipes, HUGE raids and just about every experience under the Sun. It's a game that can have the most intense nail biting moments, or you can spend hours doing nothing interesting, The way the cookie crumbles can never be predicted and of course I save the absolute best bits for you guys. The two people simultaneous commentary is better.. Two perspectives gives us a better "visual" of the situation.. Probably far better if you have 3 more "observers" following the map and checking on base upgrades from the teams, a "mini-camera" angle in the top right would be gold from action that is not as good as the "main-scene" action..
As far as I am concerned, every single video has been 3-5% better than the last. Cant wait to see what it looks like 5-10 videos from now.
@@lanmandragoran8337 true.. But his commentary gives me the vibes that he is extremely frugal, which might slap him in the face.. The format is great, he already makes good money from the channel, investing back into the show, and making steady incremental upgrades here and there is the correct way here.. We might be observing the beginning of regular rust tournaments on yt

Would be cool if you threw a couple grubs in the mix. For example rust is chaotic and even the big clans gotta deal with the random luckyllama pestering them. Maybe throw like 10-15 people on the map that arent aligned with any clans just to add a little chaos.

If I was in a team I would farm all the trees on my island that way you can see any enemies coming from a mile away. It'll help prevent raiders from sneaking onto the island and getting away with buliding a hidden base in the tree line. Having done those things you wouldn't have to worry about teams putting bags on your island, limiting the raiders to only respawn in a boat. THAT would stop any raid right in its tracks! 😋
This was absolutely my fav one of the series so far, just all good vibes and loads of action, mad respect to everyone!

I love these events. I hope you open this up so you can get a large tournament like this.
Also put the Sulphur node in one of the buildings. It's not worth it out in the open. If it was in recycler building or something it might make for an actual event where teams try to control the building.
I think this was my favorite one so far
all the teams are class acts, constant action and no one moping during raid phase. it's nice when it feels like the players actually want to play! F1 needs to be in more videos

You should have multiple spectators recording different angles
Different teams should have different colored nametags so viewers know who is on which team

I don’t know if you’ll ever see this Max but for the final you should add a rocket launcher that shoots three rockets at once sort of like a little twist to it

Keep going and improving. I am feeling pure vanilla raids and less event points. The 1 point per kill and 100 for a raid seem right.
If im right i have not seen any patrol helicopter on any videos maybe add some patrol helicopter event for final video. On same PVE servers there are heavy oil rig event where the moment you start create heli spawns so maybe do something light that?
on the last one you should add 4 smaller solo islands whose points all combine and their base raid should be 25pts
this was a very good video but really frustrating watching the groups raiding as not one of them knew how to raid
maybe hire camomo secretly to check for cheaters. He would likely do it for free.

rot had such a weak base. how did they live lol. absolutely incredible and huge respect. This Raid lock though is cancer. All of these raids were so lame because no one can se up a base because of base lock. Its utter cancer.
Shocked massive heli bombing isn't being used. It was so good in a previous match.

@max You seriously need to turn off raid blocks system, onlines 8v8 is already EXTREMELY hard to win unless defenders are complete craps. Its been too many times raiders can't even get 2nd floor that they receive 1 single rocket and its over. Raid phase been very boring to watch due to this I'll be honest. Thanks and keep going! These events are in general solid.
Who cares if defenders seals with full HP walls. Raiders have boxes of rockets, if they simply use their brain ANY raid can be easily if executed with ease

If you want more pvp, there might be too many points in objectives. You need to full wipe a clan multiple times in order to get as many points as one objective, its just not worth fighting by comparison.
I mean, ideally there are points in objectives, and any group intending to win will be at those objectives, causing PVP.
HOWEVER...there should be no objectives like bradley during the nopvp phase, cause thats such bullshit.
@@lanmandragoran8337 I don't mean objectives should go away entirely, just that their point values are a bit overtuned. They should absolutely still be around, but when an air drop alone is worth killing most of one of the other clans, it make sense that the clans that disengage and focus on objectives dominate in the final score.
You should add an attack heli
I feel like the reason that they don't is because the randomness of the pathing could make it unfair...unless you mean a heli that attacks people on the ground over the events but in itself gives no points for downing it.

Max i was in the event without being in a team
Part of me thinks the island needs to be doubled and add the ability to build on main. Could give each team a 3 TC cap. This would add a bit more strategy to the whole event.

Alone definitely deserved the win. May I suggest that instead of showing the total event timer, you instead show what stage it is (build, pvp and raid) and the time left for the current stage.
f your using mini gun on attack helo and not using HE ammo you are wrong. the damage would be huge.

Instead of having a price I’m pretty sure someone said this already but you should get actual proper clans that actually have a name out there like OT aka Oil team get more clients that have a name out there instead of these crappy clowns that you’ve never heard of I can just about hold our own on these Tenex servers you need proper clans that actually play like vanilla-ish servers
raiding is impossible, make teams build smaller bases. no possibility to raid a fully built base with 8 defenders
Raiding probably is to hard. It's been a while since a legit team has been knocked out from a raid. To be fair, these teams aren't really trying to win. If they were they wouldn't be hitting the weakest team when there's literally zero chance of winning without knocking out number one.
@@ryvan3870 yeah it's kind of frustrating to watch and want something to happen that just time after time does not happen. once 1 team is ahead by 100 points its gg, you might as well skip to the end. I think the points should be hidden from the players so they have an incentive to pay attention and be at events. then you can have neck on neck races.
