It depends. Both have their purposes. Big fireworks are usually for shows and small fireworks are meant for fun in your backyard. Its a tie for me. Also it depends on how much money you plan on spending
It’s not about the size of the firework but how much enjoyment it brings. At least that’s what my girl told me😂😂

I dont have a lot of room, so my front drive is the only place to light off fireworks. My road is kinda busy to, so I do some 200 gram 9 shot or less cakes, fountains and ball shells. So it's mostly smaller things except for the shells, which can be single, double or triple shots.

I think you should do a video of small vs big except, spend equal amounts of money on the small as you did the big stuff and then put on a show for each one. Big stuff is really cool but small stuff can get more and i bet a small show of equal value could be impressive too.
200 gram cakes vs 500 gram cakes which one makes a better show for the same price.
@@rjgallahue Depends upon the cakes. Some 200 gram cakes are better than many 500 gram cakes, and some 500 gram cakes are just flat boring. It is also often easier to find fancy effects in 200 gran cakes, for whatever reason. Even if I am spending a couple thou on fireworks for a show, I like to mix it up.
@@paulandrulis4672 I know that. I just think it will be a cool video of like one 500g cake vs multiple 200g cakes for the same price as the 500g and see which is better bang for your buck.
@@rjgallahue I can actually answer that... yes, you can. This fourth I fused numerous cheaper 200 gram fireworks to fire at the same time with pink fuse to make truly impressive single display units that rivalled or exceeded most of my 500 grams. Some 500 gram cakes are hard to beat though, lol. All total, I had over twenty 500 grams, so that statement should carry some weight. The key is watching videos over the products, selecting for desired effects, and matching to get the desired total you want in a single display unit, then use fusing to get the timing you want with only one fuse to light. You can bind them all together afterwards with inch and a half blue painters masking tape to make them easy to carry.
Small are fun to play with, Big are funner to watch
I need to send you a picture of this cake I saw earlier today, it was HUGE... It was only 500 gram, but I really want to see what it looks like... The vendor said she only has one of them and it was like 300 bucks... It's made by TNT Fireworks... I can't seem to find it on the website, so maybe I can get a short video of it when I go back tomorrow...

It was interesting this year my daughter much preferred the smaller ones. Last year she liked it the bigger ones. I do think overall for anything aerial bigger is actually safer more lift is good.

I like the more bang for buck so guess I like the smaller one. Gives you more fun cause can buy more for the same price at the big ones.

The big versions are definitely more impressive BUT, fo me I want them to last as long as possible so if you bought as many of the small versions as one big version cost look at how long you could enjoy shooting of fireworks. Then its minutes or hours vs seconds.

I love big fireworks but based off of the price I love lighting fuses and im kind of poor so i prefer small fireworks lots of fuses to light and some make decent noise

At the Store you said companies were making a 500g and a 200g version of same fireworks, so If for budget or whatever, you can get the same thing in a big cake, or a smaller cake. might be fun to have those together to see the diff.
Whichever costs the least, but does the most.
