The Fact that charity shops are selling higher than CEX shops have got to be most idiotic thing i have ever seen them do it. Like i know it is for charity but the point of there shops is to sell items far cheaper than you would get at retail and earn some money for a cause. At the bare minimum they should keep em below cex prices but above voucher value that way it will give legit collectors a bargain and keep away those who are looking to make a profit. Ever since post covid the days of bargain hunting has pretty much gone visually extinct, you can find some good deals but a lot of times it is too exhausting for the time and effort to put into it.
Completely agree it’s very silly how Charity shops sell higher than CEX. It can be hard sometimes and exhausting but I really enjoy the hunt too. I tend to find small independent charities shops in the countryside can be more reasonable but it really just depends on the shop. I have about 450 Xbox 360 games and probably the majority of them is from charity shops. I get what you’re saying about before covid too. It was so much easier getting bargains back then. I think resellers posting videos about making profit on video games in charity shops has made the managers put the prices up but they don’t exactly know what’s reasonable prices for collectors
