I don't think Minnesota had their way with Nebraska. On top of shooting themselves in the foot - they had 4 epic turnovers - and they only lost in the final 10 seconds of the game. Minnesota only won because Nebraska beat themselves.

This was back in the 70's & 80's
This isn’t true because before Lawrence Phillip left I watched Nebraska that year, they had Ahmad Green running from the WingBack position, Scott Frost was the Quarterback, Joel Mackovicka was the fullback & Lawrence Phillips was the main back, but they mostly operated out of the “Power I” formation. No the Wishbone wasn’t there main formation but they had plays being ran out of it also.

The energy and juice coming from the Colorado program reminds me a little of when Pete Carroll took over at USC and they proceeded to terrorize the sport for about 4 or 5 years. They were having fun as a group and they were fun to watch. Too bad for the NCAA violations.

The big difference is it’s USC, who wasn’t as bad as CU was before Coach Prime arrived at CU. While the 2000 USC team was 5-7, and went 6-6 Pete Carroll’s first year. The energy didn’t kick in till year 2, when we went 11-2. CU was 1-11, so the new rules greatly benefits for a teams quick turnaround (it helped us last year, going from 4-8 to 11-3), and it’s good to see the quick turnaround and will be more impressive in my opinion. It also helps that CU finally changed their admissions process for transfer students, they we’re playing with one hand tied behind their back. I wish CU good luck in their future with Coach Prime. They’re in good hands. Fight On.

Didn't TCU average 7.1 yards a carry? With Sims there were a lot of designed runs against Minnesota. What Urban Meyer says has no bearing on what happens on the field. If CU can not stop the run this game will get slowed down and turned into a physical game. That is what Nebraska wants. Time of Possession and wearing down the defense is the goal. The other teams offense can't score when they're on the sidelines.

Anytime you turn the ball over 4 times and give it back to the opposing team. You are allowing them to have their way with you. Like being able to make a field, go kick to beat you at the end of the game. thank you
