this is definitley one of the greatest bands of the year...and not only that but this album is so amazing as well...theres no words to explain how incredible these guys are and how talented they are as musicians..there one of my fav rock bands ever!!

So I'm a Latter Day Saint and live in a neighborhood where he parents buy their children just about everything they want as long as they stay faithful to the religion. The part "Given the world but somehow unable," depicts them so well. One guy was given a brand new Toyota Tundra when he got home from his mission. He didn't know how to change a tire, but no one cared. Somehow the truck made him worthy of praise and affection.

this jenny and mr mtv are my favorites. i remember when i first heard you guys on the radio. at first i didn't care but then i started listening to mr mtv alot and i knew i was addicted. then i head a song called jenny and i was even more addicted. now i here this one and I'm like wow very amazing. keep up the good work nothing more you guys rock

I would almost bet money that Haley Williams is a heavy influence in his vocals. Not only the vocal melody and how he freely runs whenever, but the way he emphasizes realize is directly from a Paramore song. I heard a few direct runs from a few others of their's as well. It's definitely interesting to catch these minute details of artists, I just wonder if it's true or not. :P

Except Carrot Top has bright red hair, and the lead of Nothing More has dark brown hair. So he still looks more like the kid that won the short lived show Rising Star to me.

It's like they took the vocals of alter bridge, the guitar work of breaking Benjamin, and the drum work of sick puppies. At least, in my opinion.

I'll be honest, this song (along with others like friendly fire) are completely contradictory to the words behind Ballast. I've a bad case of cognitive dissonance listening to this album...
How so? Friendly Fire and This point towards the liars, the cheaters, the people who betray and use what they don't deserve to have to whatever they have. Ballast talks about the fact we as humans hold each other as tools to gain further in life and we have to try to not do that anymore.
