"Don't underestimate him this guy is much stronger than the 2 guys before him" and then he blunders every piece he has i think simp just said that to keep us watching
I really wonder whether that castling would have worked had the opponent attacked. I can't recall where it was, but there was a different video about a chess variant where Simp was able to castle, but then the opponent won anyway because the variant made it so that the attack worked anyway. Since castling is technically two moves shortened into one, not being able to castle while in check is an easy way to prevent the advantage it would bring.
@@stephengray1344 That's what I was thinking, since you have to actually capture the king there. I recall that he was actually able to castle, but then the castle was reverted ans the other person captured where the kind would have been, which is exactly what en passant essentially does.
yea, but even if you are "checkmated", if enemy explodes your king, you lose But it's true that i was wrong saying that enemy king has to explode to win. If you checkmate and enemy can't blown your king up, you win
In atomic chess, do you have to react to a check or can you kaboom the enemy king? Because otherwise I think Qd6+ is a threat you had in game 2. Opponent can't take with bishop because kaboom.
At 3:40 why not QD6#? Check so he has to respond (can’t explode your king) and he can’t take your queen as it would blow up his own king. After that KC8 QC7 is checkmate
Mode would be extremely unbalanced if that were true. White would have a gigantic advantage being able to al akbar half the black pieces first. That's my assumption anyway.
@@kakahass8845 it wasn't as of 2020, and google scholar doesn't show anything since then either. i'd be more optimistic about it than normal chess though
@@kakahass8845 It's not solved, but the lichess engine gives the starting position as a +3 for white. However it also gives the starting position of antichess as a draw while it's actually a forced win for white with e3, so it could be wrong
Unusual music pitch today.
I KNEW something was fishy

The pitch is pretty high, and so is ELO
Probably because of DMCA claims
Half a tone lower

Probably meant those he skipped
to be fair... this guy got to an endgame...
Last guy is still trying to stop pawns with king even tho it cant capture 😂
Ah, so that's what an atomic chess endgame looks like.
A mere 100% win rate? Having an off day, huh?
I like this music pitch
I don't think I've even seen an atomic chess endgame before. Very interesting.

drawback chess has something close to en passant for castling, so that's probably what you remember.

Gotta stop eating while playing to avoid those mouse slips.

Qxd1, white king explodes!
Enemy king has to explode to win
@@notlukita Checkmate also works, you can see it in the last game where he wins before the two queens can explode it

I don't think "fastened" means what you think it means.
The last game was very nice
Is queen to c7 mate at 4:00? I don't remember if black is allowed to ignore that and explode white's queen in this variant.
@ 6:02 why did the fire symbol appear on a3? genuinely don't know
Bro just casually missing mate in 1 to castle in the second game
It would be mate in 1 normally, but the enemy can just ignore the check and explode the simp's king instead
3:43 isn't Qc7+ checkmate in 1?
Well no, because black can explode white's king on d1 on the next move before white has the chance to actually blow up black's king

@@creativenametxt2960 yes you can
Because he actually can explode your king, this is losing

It doesn't make sense that pawns are kaboom-proof.

Elo 1786 +9.6 and starts next Game at 1792 - AHA!
Sorry but 1786 is already 1776 + 9.6 so he won 6 points of ELO
