The global market knows when a country is being mis-managed, and they pull their money out.

The US and Canada are deeply integrated economies for sure, with strong historic and people-to-people ties. But to compare them or hyphenate them is delusional. Canada is a much smaller population with limited economic heft and constrained growth potential. It enjoyed glorious days when the rest of the world was poor and Canada was a part of the western elite. It can't compete with rising countries especially while it's love for corporate monopolies continues

      300$ for insurance
400$/person for groceries how much better can it become.
And home is a basic necessity btw,if you think you can rent yeah 1600-3k is the rent .
The problem is the ego of canadians is so much they can't accept the fact they are behind us.

the capitalist class in Canada still owns most of the economy. they control inflation and the price of commodities, despite progressive taxations.

Because who knew that taxing the rich actually hurts the poor in the long run and enables monopolies?

that's because the rich (capitalist class) respond by increasing the price of commodities in order to maximize profit. in order for the poor to benefit would require the capitalist elite class to be subversive to collectivism.
