Just having finished EP 11, I am seriously worried P'Aof's friends are about to murder him by the end of the next reaction, before they even get to recap 😅
On a more sincere note, Thank you SO MUCH P'Noom for making it possible for us to have a LGBTQ+ friend group to feel and cry and enjoy this beautiful show with. I started watching BL's hoping for authentic queer representation in a South Asian context. Most of it felt so formulaic and unrealistic until 1000 Stars and now Bad Buddy. As an aspiring writer of queer South Asian stories across genres, I am SO thankful for how much P'Aof's characters and plot structure and tensions inspire me to tell stories that are so authentic to my identity and experience.
And watching the SoonVijarn crew is equally inspiring to see how we can celebrate and support and provide constructive criticism to our friends' creative works. Every week I look forward to sharing this emotionally bonding experience of surrendering to such exquisite storytelling, because even across the world I feel what you feel. Having a group of friends like this and a storyteller like P'Aof would have been such a blessing when I was suppressing my true self while growing up in South Asia. I am just glad to live through times where I get to experience this.

Cannot repeat all the praises to PAof and the crew enough! But so glad PAran mentioned the scene Pran picking up oranges. The wide shot and the staying camera for that scene really amplified our pity for Pran (how he bottled everything up), pathing for the uncharacteristic snap he had when confronted by his mum and later his breaking down on the rooftop. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 this version is much stronger and personal than the original plan between supermarket aisles with collapsing goods (too much as a spectacle). Another detail I wanna highlight is that when Pran stepped into his house seeing his mum, he left the guitar outside before entering / closing the door behind him - blessed that Pran had tried all he could not to provoke his mum but even the obedient good son had his limit. Thank you so much for sharing all these insights and background stories, enriching our appreciation of the cinematic hard work. As always, appreciate eng sub so much krub. 🙏🏻🙏🏻💕💕
Firstly, my condolence to P’Aof. Reading your post about your father was so heartfelt and emotional. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of the love you and your family share. God bless you all.
I don’t know if this message will be read by you but honestly, P'Aof, you have set the bar so high for a show that unless it doesn’t match Bad Buddy standards, it’s no longer good enough. If I start writing about everything impressive about this show I will end up writing a detailed thesis and I wish I could do that. You and the entire team of Bad Buddy deserve that kind of appreciation and recognition.
For me, Bad Buddy is not a BL/Y series. It’s a love story. And though it's categorized as a romantic comedy, it is unfair to limit it to that genre. With Bad Buddy, you brought 'life' to the screen. You and your team managed to bring almost every aspect of 'life' on screen. So thank you for that. Thank you to your team and all your hard work. The accolades and success you will garner because of this show will be the reward for all your hard work and proof of your superiority.
Bad Buddy is everything a show should be and more. I really wish I could say this to Ohm and Nanon but since it’s not possible, I will leave my feelings here. Ohm and Nanon, you both will go on to act in newer projects and shows, where you will undoubtedly excel. But the magic you created in Bad Buddy is unparalleled, and this magic will never be matched. Know that together you both were the best versions of yourself as Pat and Pran, and this will forever be one of your finest performances. Kudos to you both for your efforts and hard work. You were born for this role. Pat and Pran would not exist if not for Ohm and Nanon.
Wishing you both and the entire team of Bad Buddy all the success and luck.

Thank you for the English sub! It's great to see P'aof (and company) react to a series that he himself directed. Watching his reactions, watching him go through the same kinds of emotions and feelings as he watches the episode ... priceless! And also I appreciate everyone else's reactions here, spontaneous and funny, sometimes teasing the director but always showing support ... love it all. I'm not Thai and I don't speak Thai. So for someone who isn't Thai and cannot understand Thai language, it's refreshing to see how other Thai people react to Thai BL series. There are things that I will obviously miss or not understand. This chapter made me reflect on many things within a family, the decisions made at some point in your life that impact those around you in the future (friends or family) and the importance of being consistent from a very young age . I am an old woman, I am 42 years old and they have asked me why I did not have children and I have always said that I do not want them to carry responsibilities that correspond only to me. I think we have a lot of similarity between Thai and Latin culture, and it is the moral weight and stigma of women, homosexuals, etc. If you are a woman you must be married and have children before 30, if you are gay you are an effeminate who does not deserves respect and is constantly ridiculed. There are so many valuable things in this chapter, so many small details that mark the history of any human being. Precious chapter Maybe they will read this or maybe they won't, but I thank P'aof very much for that sensitivity to capture such beautiful details. A hug from Colombia. 🇨🇴

This is the outcome when you cast an amazing actors to play in a series. The viewers can feel the emotions - happy, sad, frustrated and all. 👏🏻
We all can relate to the last scene. When Pran saw Pat, his eyes shows relief and he let his guard down. He cried at his heart content and every cry, his hug is getting tighter as if Pat is giving him strength.
Pat is his safe and comfort zone. ☺️
Seeing Pran’s state and saying he cannot take it anymore, Pat knows that he needs to be strong for both of them eventhough he’s breaking inside. It pains him seeing Pran in that situation and will have to get away to clear their minds.
Ohm-Nanon executed it so well that it made me cried and sad with them. I just want them to have a happy ending that they deserve. Please give it to them 🙏🙏

I agree about what they said about ep 1 to 3 not getting attention cause I always monitor the twitter and I'm also worried and thinking why it's not popular when it is so good then 4 and 5 happens and suddenly it rose to the current fame the tweets get millions and overnight trends and it became popular and I was really happy when that happened because since first ep I already hooked that's why I'm super happy when they got the success they deserve 😃
Same hahahaha i've also been anxious about the ep 4 rating in thailand hahahaha. As someone who have been there since the mock trailer, im really nervous in ep 1-4 era hahahahaha and then it finally got what this series deserves and im so happy. Bbs will be definitely one of my best bls, its worth the wait.
It's very clever of P Aof to think of another or deeper story regarding the family feud. Nanon and Ohm are very good actors. I can't imagine anyone portraying Pat and Pran. This story is made for them.
I'm sick and have a splitting headache but it didnt stop me from watching your reaction and recap. It made me forget that i dont feel well. Thank you for the subtitle.
Aside from the drama at the end, this EP is like a feel-good rom-com! I really enjoyed it! Thank you, P'Aof and the production team, as well as the acting cast!
This series introduces me to GL experience. It's new to me, and I enjoyed it. I believe that love is universal; as long as two people are happy and their relationship is healthy.
Love and Milk really impressed me! I can feel their emotions coming through without being over the top. It makes me understand GL more. Thank you!
My best scene: when Pran tries to calm Pat's dad down and got thrown aside. I think Nanon nailed it. I can totally feel the hurt and disappointment. 👍👍👍👍👍
Previously, I see Pran always tries to avoid talking to Pat's dad-- he would quickly greet and leave.
Then, after Pat's dad thanked Pran for helping Pat, I think Pran slightly warmed up to the man, so he finally found the courage to come forward and try to talk to Pat's dad, instead of staying in the background. But then he got shoved aside.
I think this explains why Pran exploded at Pat and then rebutted his mother--and I appreciate this flow of emotions.
As an introvert like him, I understand the huge amount of courage it takes to do what Pran did. So when reality happened the other way and worse, we feel utterly bad.
This makes me see the very detailed character creation in this series--it's a golden lesson about creating characters. THANK YOU!
I agree-- this is not a BL or Y series; to me, this is a piece of art worthy for educational discussion in a literature lesson. 👍👍👍

I also didn't notice the difference in hair before I saw it on twitter and I just found it entertaining, people were also saying he went to get a haircut at the supermarket haha it's a good thing it became shorter and didn't just magically grow in 5 minutes 😂
Hearing the reasoning behind it tho makes me have even more respect for the director and the team, because he actually knew about it. So it's not because of overlooking it and making a 'sloppy' mistake but because they just couldn't get past the circumstances, respect 👏

As many other people have sad, Bad Buddy is such a special series. It's touched (and broken) the hearts of so many people around the world, and after it ends next week I'll feel like I've lost a good friend. The fact that Ohm, Nanon, P'Aof and the entire cast and crew have brought these characters to life in such a realistic way, that it makes us really care about them, just shows how talented they all are. I really look forward to seeing where their careers take them in the future.

the emotions i felt from Ep 5’s kiss resurfaced in this episode. and that is: Pran has been dealing with a lot of stress. Nanon conveyed the emotions soooooo well. the most beautiful thing about the final scene is that there really wasn’t much dialogue. it was 100% emotional acting 😭😭😭😭.
i also just love the topic of generational animosity being discussed. i have a lot of family who hate each other solely for the fact that their parents hated each other. it was so well executed here. everyone in front and behind the camera did amazing!
i also what to express my gratitude for how well the LGBTQIA+ community was represented in this series. Especially the fact of how acceptable being gay is. Thank you for breaking the stereotype that “Being Gay” is the main issue. No one cared that anyone was gay. it all had to do with WHO you were loving and NOT about gender. love love love that. Thank you Bad Buddy team. definitely raising the bar for BL dramas

Thanks, as always, for the Eng. subs.. I kept checking back to this channel to see if they were up yet. This series just gets better as it goes along. I love your reactions, but I think I love the recap the most. This ep. is brilliant. Everything about it shines. I have no shi for this ep. Ohm has been one of my favorite young actors for years. He was the best thing about Make It Right. The mix of emotions coming through on his face after he finds out the real reason for the hate was captivating. I actually watched these scenes again without subs., just so that I could focus on their acting. I was mesmerized by the play of emotions in his eyes. I also really love how believable the betrayal was for creating the hate.

I'm glad the ending result of the supermarket scene because It's more effective. I was heartbroken watching Pran alone picking the fruit one by one while he was putting himself altogether; at that moment, I just wanted to jump on the screen and help him.

I really liked episode 2 and 3, there were many memorable scenes in each, but it's true that after ep. 4, and especially 5 with the kiss, the show soared. That's when I first found out about it through someone's artwork on Instagram which depicted the kiss. And then I binge watched all existing 6 episodes in one night and have been obsessed ever since.

The one scene I wished they talked more about was the scene with Pran's Mom at Pat's house. Specifically the almost throw away line when Pat's Dad says that HE GAVE Pran's family "The Business" as well as his best employee, who I assume is Chai. To me this explains why Pran's mom was so angry. Dassaya was poor, but she had big dreams, and those dreams were crushed, Pat's Dad tried to make it right by giving her the means to be comfortable financially like he is. To him that seems like more than enough. So it makes him angry that she won't forgive him. But to Pran's Mom it's like a slap in the face. Because she wanted to be more than just a small business owner. And if she got the scholarship, Pat's Dad would have all the things he has now, and she would have all the things she wanted too. But now she's forced by circumstance to live the dreams of the friend who betrayed her and not her own dreams.

Thank you as always for adding English subtitles! In this recap I liked how you talked about the challenges for actors coming from melodrama, and how different the acting style is. I think the actress playing Pran's mom was so good in this episode! I also liked how P'Jo talked about how he reacts both as a viewer/fan and as a director. It was nice as well to se P'Jack talk a lot about the scenes that he relates to. It's interesting that many of you didn't find the series so interesting in the first 3-4 episodes, because I was already so into it when I watched episode 2! Maybe when there's so many BL/Y-series being produced in your country, it's harder to feel enthusiastic. Sweden has produced a lot of LGBTQ+ series, but only one series so far that feels more like BL/Y-series: Young Royals. Thanks for sharing your comments and discussions with us, so that we can appreciate Bad Buddy even more!

I agree with P’Jack (rooftop) said that everyone has gone through this - you can cry alone but when you share it with someone who’s there for you, you cry out loud. Yes I have experienced that. I always cry harder when I have someone just being there for me. No words needed.
Agree about Nanon’s acting. It was in a level of control where he stayed true to being Pran, who doesn’t like conflict and what’s things to be calm. For example, scenes like store and back at his home. Regardless of how bad the situation is, Pran tried to be respectful of his elders only to be shoved and slapped by them. Nanon used his eyes instead to show his anger, fear, and disappointment. Also, I liked how Nanon’s arms were not embracing Ohm at the very end. This showed how much Pran was exhausted and his burden so heavy from that day’s events that he can’t hold on anymore. He was physically and mentally drained. NANON!!🙌🏼🙌🏼 Ohm was great just caressing Nanon’s hair and patting him in silence and tears. It wasn’t the best time for him to speak since he knows everything. Pat was hit with facts that his dad was the cause of everything and also hiding and down playing his bad deed. His mom knew about it and trying to twist things for Pat to understand his Dad. Um, no! Cut that cycle out!!
P’Jojo, yes please hire OhnNanon for future projects together. Their timing especially in comedy scenes in spot on. So glad Nanon took this project to see him being playful. Their comedic timing was amazing!! Many actors can’t do that. But looks like you got Ohm for 2023 😂 Us fans are happy for you so you can see Ohm everyday in 2023 hahaha

First of all, I don't speak Thai so I hope I can convey all that I want to talk in English, that's also not my native language 😅 Secondly, I don't want to wait for the eng subs to post my comment, so I'm sorry if I end up repeating things you guys say. So, I can only speak for myself, but as a bisexual person I want to talk about the natural progression of the IngPha relationship that was brilliantly done. Down to all the little details, like forming a friendship even when you already have romantic feelings for the other person, or having doubts about the other person's feelings, as if you're projecting your own feelings and that's not really how the other person feels. I also really appreciated how it was a no-brainer for Pha to realize her feelings, I related so much because when I realized I liked all genders, I was also like "huh, so it's possible to like everyone, nice" 😆 Anyway, from the bottom of my heart I would like to thank everyone involved in giving us IngPha and also how you guys have been so careful and attentive in your portrail of them. The feelings of "I just like her so much as a friend or am I falling for her?" are VERY real!!!! I also would like to thank Love and Milk for really getting into the feelings of the characters, much like Ohm and Nanon do so flawlessly also!
