One thing that broke me was the last scene where pat cried. The show always showed pran as the emotional one with tears ready to flow and pat was always there for pran whenever he cried. But in the end it turned out that pat was the crybaby and when he finally cried, he didn't had a shoulder to cry on.
This is exactly what I wanted to say. I also feel so heartbroken after watching Pat's cry.
I guess the next (final) episode will make it clear why it was Pat who was crying in the last scene, and not Pran, who was uncharacteristically serene.
@@LeoCloma it's always when one cries, the other remains calm. I think pat cried because he understood that there is no going back and there is no point in pleasing everyone.
@@vaishnaja Indeed. And another major reason for Pat crying now is that he had assumed that with both of them having already revealed their true relationship to their parents, they could finally live openly and freely with no more hiding.
But with [SPOILERS FOLLOW] their agreement to "officially" break up (while still continuing to be lovers in secret), they have to go "underground" again, which is not what Pat wants and which is now distressing him greatly.
(In contrast, Pran was more accepting of the "secret relationship" arrangement even before, and likely suggested this course of action this time going forward.)

I love the part where Pat confess the feeling that he knows they have to go back home and face their cruel reality the most. We all might have been somewhere somehow just like Pat, where we know exactly our responsibility that’s await for us, but just for a moment, we pretend like if we care no more and wish to just escape those reality as long as we can. I think both Ohm&Nanon did so really well at that parts ❤️💚
The whole episode look different if u watch multiple times. The way Ohm and Nanon portrayed their roles is phenomenal, they showed so many emotions in their faces. Even without the dialogues they convinced us what they want to say. Every time I re-watch the episode I got to know a new thing about it. I was unable to come out the trance they pushed me to. Every shot is beautiful and lovely😍.
After seeing the behind the scenes and watching again the scene where Pran sang gave me goosebumps. How difficult to act without seeing your partner yet to deliver excellent portrayal is really outstanding. Ohm and Nanon are amazing.
Dear P’Aof! I like how you finally show us a sex-wise verse/switch couple in a healthy, communicative and mutually appreciative relationship full of caring reciprocity and emphathetic and logical compromises. As I understand, Pat was topping since ep 8 (implicit cinematographic indications and allusions), this is Pran’s 1st time topping (“This time is my turn”), hence his morning-after question on his topping prowess: “Was I good?” This and lots of your other trope-defying excellent BBS stuff ventures into realities of actual gay relationships. Before in BLs it was mostly heteronormative narrative imposed on same-sex relationships. Now - a fujoshi/fudanshi fantasy crossing over into a more realistic queer representation in Thailand. Bravo indeed! Temporary and mutually agreed “break-up” to appease and reconcile the families and eliminate obstacles is just a voluntary way of losing one necessary battle to ultimately win the entire war for their eternal love and being together with full acceptance from the most important people in their lives. Thank you so so much, dear P’Aof! This BL will go down in history as a trend-setter.
exactly ! This series is actually catered towards a LGBTQ audience rather than a straight one. I really appreciate it because whenever I watch BL series it always feels like it was made for straight women but this one wasn't. It actually represents MLM in a beautiful and non heteronormative way.

@@derekjohnson8289 this story is so cliche but so beautifully executed. I am sick of hearing we did not see the sex scene . I actually dont need it. We want to see the parents reactions. What happens after they fall in love . pAof has way of telling the real story .
I felt that the implied sex scene was more beautiful than a an actual scene. It doesn't fit the style of the story.

Once again - this BL will go down in history as a trend-setter. P’Aof implied this is the BL he dreamt to make as a teenager. And make he did, so expect the unexpected and learn to read between the lines (lyrics of Pran’s love song to Pat, pun intended) without judging “the book/anything really” by its cover. My advice to those saying they did not see sex or that two 19 yo boys madly into each other, sleeping for months in one bed, did not have sex - come on! - just watch the entire series closely - after a while and after it has ended, but with the knowledge that these are two normal queer teen boys passionately in love and all the many many allusions and hints Aof as a knowing gay man put in this otherwise ‘PG for Thai audiences’ series will be so explicit (Pran’s “gimme a break” or Pat’s “I like to pound hard” (mistranslated in EN, ep 11 fish sauce preparation scene)) and clear. I studied filmmaking and screen-writing (as a second major), so I get the intentional hints and that nothing on screen and in every frame is just a filler… in a good series like this, that is. Plus being gay helps :-)

The way that Pat looks at Pran. 💕 💞 ♥️ He is Pat's entire world and I love it!! Pat is the gardener and Pran is the garden. They each give the other what they need: Pat gives Pran nourishment and tending, while Pran's growth gives Pat joy.

The emotional damage this episode brought me that i've been so depressed everytime i watched and think the "break-up scene". Honestly, it hurts more than the novel and so different from the usual. Everything is so well put together. And the acting and the chemistry is superb! I don't know how I can watch other series after this 😭😭😭

Okay, the morning scene is beautiful. Everything is just minimum and nothing is overdone. They're tired, they are not super talkative right after, they are still nervous about what happend. It was oddly surprising for me that Pran asked Pat how it was for him and it would've been too obvious if Pat would've asked Pran the same.

Also want a season 2. If this story is done come up with something else you have a great team of writers. This couple is too good to be presented in just one series/season.
Also the " thank you for making a silly guy like me happy" hit different. That feeling of disbelief you get when you find a lot of love from your partner, you want to have it all for yourself yet you keep wondering what did you do to deserve it...urgh!

Thank you p'Aof for letting me feel so many emotions with this series. first of all I wanted to thank you for choosing such good actors, especially Nanon, who I find is one of the best young actors I've ever seen, and then I really hope with my heart that there will be a second season. I already miss them so much.
Watching this reaction is making me cry again. Pat and Pran's relationship is just purely beautiful and whatever the outcome, this immense love they have for each other can't be simply replaced or taken away.
The one good thing when I watch reaction videos without Eng sub yet is that I can focus on everyone’s reactions. Everyone’s reaction is the same as most fans. We had a lot of smiles throughout EP 11 and then the reality of them being back home came. P’Aof wiping his tears speaks volume because he treats each episode as if it’s not his own, but as a first time viewer. P’Aof’s (and everyone’s) reaction is very relatable. When the camera panned to the middle during the beach kiss, P’Jojo’s reaction was all of us 😂 **Can’t wait for Eng sub and come back**
The “mutual” breakup scene was sad and lovely. I loved the way it was done. Throughout this episode, PatPran showed but in order to achieve their dreams and not miss things they love (like Pran missing his mom), they needed to mutually sacrifice each other. As much as we hated that, we knew it had to happen. PatPran cannot be 100% if their families continue to fight. However, I have high faith that PatPran will be together in the future because hearing Pran say “Buddy”, was a good sign that they will continue where they left off when they meet again and not really start over. They just have to wait until things get “fixed” with the former buddies (their parents). P’Aof if the boys don’t have a ring on their fingers end of EP 12, you’ve got alot of explaining to do.

Honestly this whole friends group makes me jealous. I could never sit with my best friends even and watch love or kissing scenes, or even become emotional for that matter. This is such a healthy group of friends P'Aof has 👆👍👍

The most painful breakups are not the one caused by misunderstanding or anything tragic, it's those decisions that are made out of pure love -- pure love that you have to sacrifice each other to have a more peaceful life. P'Aof and OhmNanon perfectly conveyed that message. 🙌
These are some of my honest thoughts after watching this ep. It's very long but I took some time to write this so I hope P'Aof could read this 🥺
(part 1/2)
I watched this episode twice, the first time on live without subtitles for the last 3 parts and the second time with subtitles. It amazed me how language is never a barrier when it comes to delivering emotions. I understood the context, briefly knew what the characters were trying to say. Even without subtitles I cried all the way in the last 2 parts. Ohm and Nanon’s pure emotions and the love they have in their eyes when they look at each other is so raw and so deep that I truly understand what Ohm meant before ‘I wish I could be in the same series with Nanon again but with minimal dialogue’.
The emotion contained in the whole episode is obviously high and deep. But for me I think there are 3 (technically 4) scenes that got me the most:
- The scene where Pran was talking to Junior’s mum
I think this is the moment when Pran actually understood that no matter how his parents (mainly his mum) stop him from being close to Pat, at the end of the day he's still the one and only son in his parents’ hearts. He loves them despite all this mess and there’s no way for him to walk away from them and let them worry about him. On top of that, he feels sorry for what his mum had been through and could understand why his mum hates Pat’s family that much. When he pictured how lonely and upset his parents would be during all this time, he's so tempted to call his parents. Pran's always the person who looks out for others (also shown when Junior refused to talk to his mum), but why is he always the person who has to suffer simply because he puts other people before himself? For Pat, it’s seen that he’s not close to his parents as Pran does. When they’re at the beach, Pat said he called Pa not to worry about them instead of calling his parents. He’s probably still disappointed and mad at his dad and felt sorry for Pran’s family so we can see why Pran wants to go home first before Pat does.
- The kiss scene + the scene where Pran buttoned up Pat’s shirt (I put them together as they’re Pat’s confession)
What I was focusing on in this scene is not how emotional and how real the kiss was, but the fact that they both finally got to tell each other the reason why they like each other. I have heard a saying before: when you love someone, you don’t really have a reason and it seems to be portrayed as something that doesn’t have to be discussed. But in my opinion, regardless of physical attraction or initial attraction, it should be something that a couple can talk freely and openly about. In this case, I definitely see the need for such a confession. Pran's a person who represses his feelings, especially in the past, he held no hopes or expectations of getting close to Pat. He's so insecure that he wouldn’t know his own worth and why he is being loved by someone he has loved for so long. On the other hand, Pat knows Pran has liked him for a long time but he didn’t know why and since when either. It’s so common for us to miss out the great parts of our personalities or the strengths we have, while the person who loves you can see that and appreciate it so much. Confession can be cringy or hard to say out loud, but it is the way of communication that strengthens the bonding between the two.
The reasons for them liking each other are so simple. And so is their love. Pran’s reason is even though Pat looks like a gangster (looking like an inconsiderate bad boy I guess) always butts in people’s business and helps them. Even before they're together and without Pat’s realisation, Pran remembers every kind move he's made, including pretending to fight when he never hurt him, making a pick for him, keeping his guitar for him, asking how his wound was, looking for funding of the bus stop together and performing in a play organised by the architecture faculty. Every small move he’s made adds up which is also the reason why Pran couldn’t hold himself back from falling in love with Pat in the earlier episodes. Pat’s reason is even simpler. They have been through ups and lows, sweetness and bitterness, happiness and sadness. In the good days, they care and concern about each other, and think of each other all the time; in the bad days, they might argue over a small matter that could be no one’s fault. However, every time they manage to make up after understanding each other. In Pran’s mind, he knows clearly (as early as they were on the coach to the beach) that they can’t run away from their parents forever as he’s a very realistic person. In Pat’s mind, he kind of put that thought aside first because all he cares about is living the moment. After being sulky towards Pran, he had a deep thought about their future. In the scene where Pran buttoned up his shirt, he grabbed his hands and acknowledged what Pran has done for him so far, and that he has never left him. It’s so wholesome to see Pat treasuring Pran so much and being the sweetest boyfriend ever!
- The last scene with the song
The last last part of this episode is absolutely everything. The sweetness, bitterness and sadness, it just left us all speechless. Pran wrote a song just for Pat because they are not ‘just friend(s)’ anymore and he knows Pat was upset last time when he sang that song with his architecture friends. He named the song ‘Our Song’. These are my favourite lines: ‘There are no perfect sweet words. Love is nothing else but you’. Pran is a person who doesn’t have sweet words like Pat, he flirts with him but he doesn’t often talk about love or mention how much he loves him. This song is an honest confession to Pat from the bottom of Pran’s heart. He has always shown how much he loves Pat through actions but this time, he’s been brave and expressed in both words and actions! I’m so proud of him honestly.
The flashbacks made me so emotional. After spending all those times together, after creating unforgettable memories together, after loving each other without holding anything back. At the end, they still have to part ways. They still have to go back, in fact, they have to take so many steps backwards until they’re strangers who don’t contact each other, as if all these pieces of memories never existed.
Pat crying so much (crying the most out of all scenes we’ve seen) when he said goodbye to Pran literally hurt my soul. ‘Pran fell first, but Pat fell harder’ is real.
I haven’t viewed ep 12 yet so I don’t know whether they have better choices instead of splitting ways after their ‘honeymoon’. But I can understand why P’Aof would choose to put the story like this. In reality, it’s so common for youngsters to be passionate with and fearless of love. There are so many life-changing choices that need to be made and there is always something that has to be sacrificed. Sometimes we just have to part ways with the ones we love. Pat and Pran know they both have their own dreams and paths to walk in their lives. It could be better and easier for them to move on without being in a relationship that needs to be hidden which will eventually hurt themselves. If you like a person, it's undeniable that you'd want to be beside each other forever; but if you love a person, it doesn’t necessarily mean you want to own them but you'd just simply want them to live a happy and fruitful life.

If, Pat asked what if our families are not enemies.
If Pat’s dad didn’t take Pran’s mum’s scholarship,
If Pat’s dad owed up for his mistakes years ago,
If Pran’s mum didn’t force Pran to stay away from Pat,
Maybe they could be friends,
Maybe they didn't have to act like they hate each other,
Maybe they could have had meals with their parents together,
Maybe Pran would be less repressed with his feelings,
Maybe it would be less hurtful to fall in love.
People asked why can’t their parents be more accepting, but imagine how hard it is to accept that the person who ruined your life has to be part of your family (if they are tgt in the long-term). Nevertheless, I think the only thing I find the decision of them breaking up is very sudden because we didn’t get to see them trying to step up for themselves or fight for their love. We know their families don’t like them being together but if they actually have a serious talk maybe their parents would get to know their love story more? It would be more inspiring for other people in the LGBTQ+ community if they tried to let their parents understand them.
Only if ‘ifs’ do exist in reality, they would be just ordinary university guys falling in love with each other.
Pat and Pran have different personalities with different approaches and visions: Pat being disorganised while Pran having OCD; Pat not afraid of coming out to the world while Pran was not ready and was scared of being judged; Pat telling everyone out loud how much he loves Pran while Pran prefers keeping their love to themselves.
No one is perfect in this world and no two people are completely compatible either. Pat and Pran have taught us how caring, respect and acceptance are literally essential to maintain a healthy romantic relationship.
Lastly, hats off to P’Aof for everything, especially the layout of the entire episode! It flows very well and I believe he successfully brought most viewers to tears (personally my tears just kept rolling down my cheeks without control lol). Ohm and Nanon took this to a whole new level!! The scenes where they cried break my heart every time I watch because both actors genuinely cried and Pat and Pran deserve more than being treated like this honestly!! I can’t even find a single moment that I think this is a fictional story. I basically believe Pat and Pran exist in the world…Ohm said they filmed a few versions of the finale, and I can’t wait to see how P’Aof has decided to end their story. I feel like no matter how long it has passed, they are still so in love with each other that they won’t be able to move on so I hope it’s not a sad ending…:)

Just one clarification though -- the song that Pran performed solo at the beach bar was indeed "Our Song", which however is different from the song that he sang at the Freshy Contest with his Architecture band, "Just Friend", which he and Pat originally performed together in 10th grade. (I guess it is easy to confuse the two, since both are really dedicated by Pran to Pat, their messages overlap somewhat, and both were actually written by the same composer, hence their similar styles.)

For me, this is the best BREAK UP scene in BL series. It is mature, it is bittersweet and it is relatable. I mean, not all break up is dramatic. Sometime, break up can be a calm yet painful like this one. We have seen many break ups before where the couple fight, cries, yelling at each other and so on. But here, P’ Aof plot it beautifully that I think I will remember this scene for a long time. I really love this. 😭😭😭

I'm glad they notice the subtle break up scene ( the red shirt scene) . Other reactors caught off guard only after they watch the ep 12 prev.
The last scene where they imagine the two families accepting them is really touching & sad. That is something that every couple wishes from heart and it is really hurts when it doesn’t happen. The team did an awesome job!!

I really feel like Aof did a great job on this series. He watches just like the fans do. Cries when we cry laughs when we laugh. He understands what feelings he evokes with what he created. I hope somehow he decides to take pity on us and leave us with a happy ending. Or if not happy one that doesn't leave us in tears

I've watched the episode four times on my own (not including the premier where I was only guessing what was going on) and again with every reactor I follow, and even knowing what's coming, I still cry through the last part of the episode because I know it's goodbye. I'm really in love with PatPran's love and BBS.

This is the first time I feel like writing something after watching a series...but I wanted to wait till the last episode. But ep 11 made me write...bcz this i felt like watching a scene from my own life. The patpran breakup was similar to what happened in my life. We separated ways on mutual understanding to be there for our parents . But that separation had its toll on us... he tried attempting suicide I went under severe depression and had a near death experience. But we could never get together. Those days were the worst. Those severe moments came back to me watching this episode. It started haunting me again...
I really appreciate ur work PAoff..and the actors ohm and Nanon...the way the director and the actors portrays the emotions, the feelings it really hits hard. Wonderfully created piece of art.
This series will always remain close to my heart...as it had glimpses of my life in it..
Hoping for a happy ending for the series..KUDOS to everyone assossiated with this series. U all did a wonderful job.

Such a lovely episode with seeing Pat and Pran being together freely. There aren't any interruptions, just quality couple time and heartfelt conversations. It's exactly what being in love should be. It's also painfully realistic because sometimes love isn't enough. They can't be together now, but there's every reason to hope. So, thank you P'Aof and team for making an amazing series. It's the best for me.
I'm legit watching every bad buddy episodes like at least 4 times. First time on the actual premiere, second on Revil's channel third on this channel and fourth watch it again on gmmtv channel. waiting for the eng subs❤
