And maybe those who lack integrity are sometimes also traditionally disadvantaged. That shouldn’t shield them from criticism. See for example the chubby black guy on the Supreme Court.
Jon Stewart is a national treasure. His wit, humor, and advocacy for important causes have made a lasting impact on the country. It's great to have him back!

Jon was a terrific source of cathartic humor and well-informed, funny commentary in the past. When the world went mad in 2016 (first Brexit, then Trump, Boris Johnson, Jair Bolsonaro, the pandemic and all the pandemonium since then) I often found myself wishing he was still around to make the daily headlines just a tiny bit less horrifying. Welcome back, Jon. I'll be watching.

I believe they're more in awe of him - that feeling of being unworthy in the presence of a living legend. I think I've seen similar deference by reporters interviewing Bob Woodward.

Ugh!!! Totally agree. This was painful to watch. When they have multiple interviewers and they’re all trying to get their question in it’s so clunky. One interviewer is sufficient, with only a few questions and then natural follow ups like you’re actually listening to Jon’s responses.

I started watching The Daily Show with Jon Stewart when I realized he wasn't just funny, he was more informative than most network "news" broadcasts.

I always loved how Jon would be silly for the first 25 minutes of his show and then look directly into the camera and get serious and nail the truth to the wall. Perfect execution! He is so insightful and articulate!

speaking of games, one of the funniest things i ever saw was on jon's tour of the daily show studio where he opened the door on a room full of dogs seated around a poker table with cards and chips, the whole deal. i don't know how you got the dogs to pose for that but it was just hilarious!

To everyone who's procrastinating with this video, here's a little checklist for when you get back to studying:
• A bottle of water. Your brain works better if it has enough water and drinking helps you to concentrate 💦
• Your charger. You sometimes don't even notice that your device's battery is going down, so better have it plugged in all the time ⚡
• Your headphones. You will be able to focus more
with headphones because it blocks background noises. Also, if it's a late night study session, you won't wake up anyone 🎧
• Tea, coffee, or hot chocolate. Coffee keeps you awake, green or black tea can make you feel more awake as well ☕
• Your study/work stuff: your laptop/tablet/ phone,
a few pens, paper or whatever you need 📚
Remember to take breaks whenever you need along with moving your body around a bit so you're not always sitting! Have a beautiful day/night ✨
John Stewart is successful because he is true to himself, genuine and stands up to what’s right. He has integrity, feelings and the brains on top of his great sense of humor.
Definitely can tell he still has a lot of comedic talent just from that interview alone. Can’t wait to see this
There are some people I feel I'd be able to keep listening to regularly for a lifetime. Stephen Fry is one. Jon Stewart is another.
