This tank is actually so much fun. Good top speed, good reverse, good turret traverse, 300mm heat, decent reload, but literally no armour. 7.62s from an I-15 can obliterate you. Artillery is a nightmare.

How Tammy (the wife), our lords and masters (the two cats, Picky and Choosy), our fellow servant (the dumb-ass-est mongrel ever, Bibb), and our first born son ('It' not as unkind as you imagine = Ignatius Theo, old family names) managed to pack up, move out, travel miles, and end up sane (or at least not be possessed by demons) - after I left the army - still beggars belief. ;o) Take care, and thank for all the fun times you share with us.
Phly you really need to get used to peeking corners by holding C instead of rotating your whole turret. You often die because you pop out while your turret is aimed way backwards, just use C to rotate the edge of the camera to see around corners
Well a challenge for you is to play this vehicle as it was designed irl. These small, fast turreted wheeled vehicles are usually employed as recon vehicles so you get in a nice spot and rain arty, spot for friendlies and report movements. Play this way without using your direct fire weapon and see how far you can penetrate into the enemies' lines. THAT would be a challenge for YOU!

The M1A1 struggles against the monster that is Leopard 2A5, but for us F2P players that don't have yhe A1 yet, playing the original Abrams is a nightmare. No armor, one of the worst guns at that BR, and now thanks to the new russian SPAA we have no air support either. The main strength of the Abrams was that amazing lineup, but that strength is almost gone. Please, take a look at how far the old king has fallen Phly!

HEAT/HE shells can hull break them by shooting their gun. There is nothing disgusting about those vehicles and they are perfectly balanced.
