I start at 5am, use a #7/0 hook for the pike here, and fill my 440 lb. net by 1pm on the game clock. Ends up being around $35,000 after 2-3 real time hours per full net for each game day ($2,000 for each added day). #8/0 hook will work, but you catch way less fish. I usually bring around 150-200 shiners to start, and fish until they are gone (large minnows work if you run out of shiners, and just want to fill your final net). I catch about half trophy pike and half regular pike on average. I'll fish for 4 or 5 days, leave, get some better equipment, fix damaged equipment, buy more shiners, and go back for more.
for me level 21 - 31 i farm wall eye at emerald lake, fishing at night time only, can skip time when night, no cooldown, i use 2 bottom and 1 casting, bait small winnow for bottom and for lure i forgot sorry.. then after reach level 31, i change net to 100kg, i use 9kg setup if iam not wrong 2 bottom rod, and 1 floating rod, i dont use casting rod because iam boring using cast rod.. start 5am then before 10am my net full.. i bring 200-300 shinner as bait..

#7/0 hooks are the I’ve caught so many 20+ pounds of pike with shiners and minnows tbh it’s so easy
