Wow dude just wow. i have been a hacked switch user for years and was so annoyed when stick drift caused my console to update instead of starting the game normally. Everything i tried did not work and even after booting into the atmos release my games would immediately close&corrupt. You just made it so i can get back to playing the new mario party with my little brother, i made sure to subscribe and will be using you as my go to "Tech James" in terms of switch hacking. Thank you so much

You can freely delete them in emummc. They are there because you had them installed before formatting the sd card, they are just icons. I haven't tried Dbi installer, I tested Awoo and it works great.
I jailbreaked my switch for the first time. But tinfoil only appears when I put my switch in RCM Mode and connect it to the computer and inject the payload. Ist there another way?
@@IDX3Tutorials Sorry, I meant the saves, In the previous version it allowed me to activate the download of saves to the cloud, but not in this one, or how can I change it from stock to custom?
@@tlalipanda466 The easiest way is to do everything from the beginning, but before you create emummc download the save data. You can't download because your emummc is protected, and that's how it should be. So, format the sd card, put it back in the switch, download the save data and then continue the process.
You put the files in the wrong location or you have a broken sd card. If you have another one, try it. Also make sure the sd card is formatted in fat32
my switch is still running on version 9.0.1 and atmosphere 0.9.4|E. Can I update the firmware and Atmosphere without issues? Or should I wait for Tinfoil to be updated and sigpatches?
Tinfoil doesn't work at the moment so I added the Awoo installer. Update coming soon...

That's odd there's actually two copies of the files, one labeled files at the bottom which doesn't work, and one at the top that does

do you have to remove your games from the sd card first or are they ok if they stay there?
The process will erase your entire sd card, keep that in mind.

I haven’t updated to 19.0 yet I’m still on 18.1 - I need to reboot my switch as battery died. Should I update and then install again?
If your switch is already jailbroken, there is another tutorial in the video description. And you should know that tinfoil still doesn't work on fw 19

emummc is a custom firmware and in it you use mods etc. You can play online only in stock sysmmc

You cannot download games from the e-shop in custom firmware. Download them in stock firmware.

when i try to copy the files onto the SD it tells me that hbl.nsp file is too long and it doesn't let me copy it what do i do?
Maybe the package wasn't downloaded properly or wasn't extracted well
