  • This is a short documentary of mine, Siris and Karins first hike together. We went to Triglav National park in Slovenia: stayed 5 days in the mountains of Julian Alps and some days in Bled, Bohinj and Ljubljana.
    I stongly recomend this place for hikers with all experience. We went there in june 2018 when there was few people in the park, plenty of space in the huts, lovely food and lovely people.

    I liked that you subtitled "the wildlings" to "the children" 😉

    You went to the Alps to enjoy peace and quiet of the mountains and you got partying kids and drunken adults😅 anyways, it seems you still had a great time!

    That wasn't Mordor, it was Gundabad. Mordor is to the south-east of that.

    Great video! Could you tell me the name of this tour? Or did you plan it individually? If so, can you give me some additional information on it, e.g. the cabins you stayed at? Thank you! :-)

      Look for the valley of the seven lakes in Triglav np. The girls traversed the alps from lake bohinj via this valley and to Soča river...

    Great! Thanks for the video.
    Could you please suggest those 3 days hike plan? Or may be a hiking trail or huts that you stayed in? We are planning to visit this.

      So they went from Lake Bohinj to Koca na planini pri Jezeru, then to Koca pri Triglavskih jezerih and then to Zasavska koca I think. All trails in Slovenia are well marked.

    Hey Josefine,
    Great impression
    I'd like to visit in 16-23 may this year... Do you think it is too early in the season? Or are there enough nice mountain trails open in this season?

    • @LukaEsenko
      @LukaEsenko 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      In may, the huts are stull closed. They usually open by mid june.

    how did you organise which huts to stay in etc?

    • @odysseusoutis7581
      @odysseusoutis7581 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can get phone numbers of the huts on the internet where you can make a reservation or you can take a chance and hope that the hut will be open and have enough free beds when you come. Make sure to try and reserve a spot at least a week in advance because they are not allways reachable.

    • @blazwinkler108
      @blazwinkler108 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      During summer holidays you better reserve your bed in advance because some huts near the center of the park might get pretty crowded. The route up the Triglav lakes valley, like they have taken, is one example, second (Triglav lakes hut ) is pretty popular and the last one (Zasavska hut on Prehodavci pass) is really small.

    Beautiful park but what nasty remarks about those kids. Could you imagine if a small group of older guys were talking that way about your group of young women? The outrage would be deafening.
    Please.....they're human beings. Don't dehumanise them but acting like they're no better than a cloud of black flies.
    Other than that....a really nice video.

    • @BoomKing72

      Not everyone likes being around kids. They're loud and obnoxious and run around without any regard for their surroundings. They didn't say anything mean directly to the kids or try to impede them from enjoying themselves did they? So why all the fuss?

    • @JackHaveman52
      @JackHaveman52 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@BoomKing72
      Not everyone likes being around black people, or Muslims. They can give you all kinds of reasons for it, too. Are you going to excuse that, too.
      We're supposed to care for our fellow human beings. I'm not religious, at all, but I try to follow that Christian rule which says to "Love thy neighbour as thyself". I don't like to place them in groups and then use that as some kind of rationalisation to bad mouth them. It's being quietly obnoxious.

    • @BoomKing72

      @@JackHaveman52 get the fuck outta here with that wild take. Not liking kids is not remotely comparable to being racist. Get real.
