It's been hurting my heart that Rachel hasn't been able to hang out with her fam. And I've loved all her happy content, but as someone who CAN'T visit her sisters cause of huge distance in living locations it's hurt to watch her disappear from everyone else's stuff. They were in quarantine to see her family and then unfortunately gf started to not feel good and for the safety of the babies they had to postpone family dinner. It’s not because of traveling it’s not because of seeing friends it’s what happens when babies are in the nicu. My family foster cared for over 50 babies throughout my childhood, many of which were in the nicu. My mom couldn’t come home many times because she had 7 children at home and it was too risky. But it’s the internet so there’s always going to be people like you that don’t understand and feel entitled to judge and harass people like Rachel.

It's nice that Rachel understands the nicu thing. I had family mad at me because I was so isolated when my son was born. It was way back in 2006 so it wasn't covid time. I just couldn't go to him if I got sick.

This video really hit home. It was my first Thanksgiving without my family as well. I moved out of my home state almost 5 years ago but was lucky enough to always be able to make it home. This video really hit home. It was my first Thanksgiving without my family as well. I moved out of my home state almost 5 years ago but was lucky enough to always be able to make it home. This year I couldn’t get enough time off so I spent it with my partner’s family. It just wasn’t the same so I get you with feeling like you couldn’t spend it with another family. Sending you hugs 💝

I totally understand, It would also destroy me to not get to have thanksgiving with my dad. I do thanksgiving with my daddy every year and it would make me so sad if I couldn’t.
