It can easily take 4 weeks for Stevie to get adjusted to her medicine, so her behavior is still not ‘set in stone’, but if it makes her softer/less stressed it is probably a very good change for her even though her behavior might change a bit. You are a good pet mom, you tried every avenue of treatment/management, using meds as a last resort, and luckily this worked❤
FYI, the show Lucifer is on Netflix and it's audio described, I absolutely love that show. I highly recommend. It kind of plays on the idea or theology of Lucifer being banished from heaven but it's also really interesting because then he becomes a consultant for the I think LA Police Department. It's a lot of drama romance it's so darn good and there's a lot of parts that are very emotional. Like I said highly highly recommend. it even has some queer themes in it.

omg i felt the same exact way when my cat started prozac too the vet lowered her dosage and it helped but i felt like it wasn’t 100% yet. she’s been on it for a little over a year now and she’s been her normal self for a while now. my point in saying all that is give it time and maybe mess with the dosage a little with the vet

Cats: they eat grass for a reason. Always let them have it. Adjust her diet to only high quality dry food. Only dry. No matter how much she wants something else. And: Cats need sun. You have to make sure they can enjoy the sun. It is very important to them. ( I am a catman since 1970. )
