But I believe SNK ran out of time with it and just let him have the Repukken and Kaiser Wave. Then again I doubt they'll be able to manage that back then, that'll be super complicated for a boss to use at least one of each's techniques throughout the entire rooster. BUT super cool if they managed to do that, I think they can now. Rugal using the Buster Wolf? sheesh.
Correction : They didn't run out of time, the NeoGeo arcade couldn't handle the code for Rugal to be able to learn the moves on the spot and then use them.

If were we're being canon in terms of kof boss strenght there's orochi ,mukai geonitz and ignis zero copy zero and krizalid namely because the last four bosses are super human in ways rugal cant fathom. After krizalid theres wolfgang krauser and geese considering they both ruled south town. Rugal is at the very bottom due to not having any techniques he himself developed. He himself has gone on record as copying the techs of other fighters and making them his own. So hope this helps.
He's a lot of fun, I do wish they would have let him keep his Kaiser Wave tho, i'm not a huge fan of his new "Violent Ray" fireball. Honestly i think his playable version should have just been Rugal, nothing really "Omega" about him like past versions of Omega Rugal.
It's for design reasons, Regular Rugal has the godpress which is meter free, and based on SNK design philosophy that since KOF 13 the corner game became an even bigger part of kof, they do not want anyone to simply have a free corner carry. I don't agree with it but that's the on;ly reason why they opted to bring a playable omega vs regular rugal.
Imagine like tekken had akuma on main roster it was so hype so street fighter has rugal on street fighter 6 main roster. That would be insane and people would buy the hell out of it

To SNK: I love the soundtracks of KOF and other SNK games. But for XV i must say the music has a lot of HEART, in my opinion, more than previous latest editions. A friend of mine caught me rocking through KOF 15 playlist, and being a gaming music listener himself, told me"this is more like you, it's not just gaming music, IT'S FIGHTING MUSIC!!". One more thing: RELEASE LEVEL 8 DIFFICULTY, PLEASE!
Yeah I was pleasantly surprised by the netcode playing in mostly 250+ latency and only occasionally noticing it when I hear the death scream of some characters when the game gets crossed ;D
Vanessa is such a monster when played well. She is extremely fast and her combos are super easy on the eyes. Of course, being a boxer myself, I’ve always been biased towards boxing characters. Heavy D, Dudley, Steve Fox etc.
She is S tier in kof15. She is very very strong. If a pro player use her she will be almost unstoppable unless you try another S tier in other positions

Why? GG strive is 6 to around 13 things waaaaay better than this garbage KoF game. You'll see audiences will stop playing this in about 4 to 5 days. Nothing close to dbfz or SFV or GG-strive continuity. You're gonna cry cuz you spend $$$ & then there's no players for matchmaking.

After what they did to my girl baiken, I still kept playing KOF. Its refreshing to play a more challenging and 'old school' type of fighting game compared to the likes of DBFZ and strive rn. KOF XV is a much better game overall
Rugal kof xv is not so much op. I guess this is because all characters can combo into dm then sdm. The only question is how many confirms a character have that connects into that combo, Terry comes on top.
One thing I love about Max's specific Rugal he plays him almost in the same style as the Original Arcade version that I loved to watch him fight.. Fun to watch!

This game has such clean graphics. It looks like they just made another KoF and didn't bother with doing anything unnecessarily flashy. It just is what it needs to be I guess.
I really do want to play this game, but unfortunately none of my friends are really into fighting games, so something like KOF is just an impossibility for me to play with them.
Just play it. I also don't have a friends play fighting game. Most of them just a typical gamer playing shooter game and scamming EA sport game. I just enjoy play the game that I like, don't care if my friends play or not

The only reason Rugal should be banned is that glitch where he can basically freeze a character until time runs out. Once that is fixed, let him rock I say.

That's because his opponent had bars(bottom corners of the screen) to work with and Max did not. KOF strategy basics: The main job of your 1st character of your 3 is to build bars for the other two.

Rock is his beat down character to rack up some damage and Terry is his anchor, a character he knows well and can help bring a game back if things go south.
