@Babaleeboosh Charlie Musselwhite played all of the harmonica on X aside from Suicide Blonde which is a sample. Andrew can definitely play. See ‘Taste It’ for his tasty harmonica work.
I’m about to turn 50, grew up and have lived in Central Arkansas practically my entire life. Although we do get a decent amount of big artists in Little Rock (20 minutes from me) or now at the Wal-Mart amphitheater in NW Arkansas, bands like INXS and Depeche Mode only came as close as Dallas (about a 5 hour drive); they don’t even play Memphis, about 2.5 hours from me. I’ve said for years though-if I could go back in time to attend concerts I would be at this one (I was 16 at the time) and the 1988 Depeche Mode Rose Bowl show (when I was 13). There was no way I could have possibly attended either at the time: my parents were pretty indulgent, but not to the point where they were going to take me on a cross-country or overseas trip for a concert! Lol

What I love about this song is that every member's contribution is so powerful....makes for a great listening experience. One of INXS's true masterpieces.

You'll never be able to convince me that the quality of music hasn't deteriorated completely in recent years - i'm sure it's not just because i'm old and miserable now and i'm living off memories of playing live baby live on cassette in 1992.

I think they would *survive* because they were a great live band. They might have a great comeback. If not, at least they could still tour around the world. Why? Because M.H could still belt his heart out, no matter what his circumstances were (I know he had terrible brain injury; it just seems to me that he was committed to music a lot).
I saw them on the Full Moon, Dirty Hearts tour. They were an amazingly tight live band. The came out with the house lights on like they were stagehands and just started playing. Fooled the crowd, lol! Michael went into the audience and sang from the crowd. It was very cool.
