I have not been to Palani so far… 1000 times I have crossed Coimbatore on the way to Cochin.. I have seen Madurai and Chidambaram and other temples but not Palani.. I feel like going now Thank you

You have missed 2 important points, sir, though you have taken lots of pains to cover the rest of the trip. 1. It is customary to visit Idumban and Idumbi Temple before visiting Skanda here. This boon was given to them by Skanda himself. 2. About 10-15 kms from here is Avinankudi kshetra. This is also Subramanya swami kshetra and is one of the six important centers of Skanda darshanam.
