Wooww, I've never seen something like this before. The most I've seen for decorating locs are the gold or silver cuffs. This is so cute and can really be personalized/stylized.

I *KNOW* this video is old...so happy It popped up in my feed! I have only seen silver “sprinkles, drip” & I have gold, white & colored beads & couldn’t find a tutorial on colored beads. I wanted to use them (I have tons) but wasn’t sure how they would look...now I know! I also luv the tip on using hair, instead of 🧵! I LUV your loc’s! You are beautiful sis! TFS ✌🏾

When you said you were going to start over I questioned why you would take your ENTIRE out. I was screaming don’t do it, just take down the back. Glad I watched to the end and saw that you’re going to do just that or split the locks. Look forward to your 18 month video.
I made a loc with my daughter's hair and put it on my locs, I think I'm going to do this to decorate the loc of my daughter's hair. This is awesome!

Oh!!! I'm am doing this on T! I love it on your lenght of hair beccause the beading frames your face. I'm not sure if would look as nice on my locs. But T's locs are layered a lot like yours. Very nice idea. You look amazing. I'm going to try it. I have Sisterlocks and it hard to find things to adorn my locks that won't interfere with my retightening.
I have micro locks... dang I didn't think about that.. they may snag when you pull the loc through.
Lockin' N Rollin' Maybe not. If we find very smooth tiny beads I doubt it will snag. I used to have lock jewelry in mine and I could feel it when my loctition pulled it through so I took them out. They were dangling beads. This should be fine. Doesn't hurt to try :-)
Tanjia Hall you're right .. there are all kinds of beads .. different sizes and textures. A smoother bead would be great

Hi qochemist!! I have smaller locs and I tighten my roots using the interlocking method like ppl with sisterlocks would do... I am in love with the sprinkle idea however I am wondering if I would be able to do this and still tighten my roots without breaking or damaging my new growth? The synthetic hair was a great idea. I was concerned about the use of thread and the damage that can cause on the loc especially with moisture and causing mold. This is genius.
