Story of Taber: “Life, a war against yourself”

Jihad Taber Tanja is a 58-year-old internally displaced man from Idlib’s Kelly town.
“The war has been going on for 13 years in #Syria. Before the war, we had lands, houses, properties. I lost all of them,” Taber says and continues:
“Life is a war. A war against yourself. In addition to the burden of life, we are also struggling with the deep impact of the current war in our country.”
He has been suffering from several heart attacks, leading him not to be able to work anymore.
Taber, who has cardiac diseases, and his family receive medical services from Dünya Doktorları/Doctors of the World Türkiye’s health center in Kelly with the generous support of Tzu Chi Foundation.
