@@karambadodox Eh not too worried about it. May pickup another Vanguard seeing that 80 percent of my games have 4 DPS and Hulk can't solo tank well. We'll see how it goes.
Im surprised the DPS numbers(besides iron man) were as close across both teams. Their dps were killing squish while your team just shot at the feet of their tanks.
As a cap main in bronze I am aware of my limitations therefore always ask for a second tank to make up for me when I inevitably mess up, easier said then done when there’s 5 other dps who get toxic the second you suggest anything other then their Insta locks
As a former League player, my strategy is to hover a dps like Iron Fist when you join a lobby, but then say "I'll tank if someone else does too" and 90% of the time you'll get a second tank. It works because people feel like they're getting 2 tanks for 1 value by swapping for the team. To you it's holding the lobby hostage, but to them it's just a good deal.
People underestimate the skill of people in Bronze IMO, his team wasn’t a lol bad, his supports were actually decent and ulting at the right times too, the lower ranks are more dependent on your DPS players than anything else whoever has the better DPS players will win typically. And the winning team will never have a Bronze DPS, they are typically Plat or higher skill level just still in Bronze atm.
@CaptainCoach I do understand what you're saying, but if I just want to practice I would just go quick match understanding I'm playing with Regs, so when I go comp with my team I can test my new players out in my skill level and not nerf myself with other bronze players. It's just how I prefer to do it. Nothing personal brother.
Mostly solo q yes, I duo with my friends a little but they aren't the highest rank. Just use pings in game if you don't use mic, although I do use mic now
frankfurt servers are absolutely insane, because why are silver lobbies in frankfurt as hard as diamond lobbies in america minimum? there was a dude that played spiderman and he got 30 kills and died ONCE the entire match. he wasn't the only one popping off, that shit felt like a blue lock game
It’s a lot easier as magneto because people in these leagues never do anything but hang back and magneto does nothing but shield people from the stupid shit they do. Got through bronze to gold with magneto. Now I mainly just play Thor and Moon Knight
Gee, why don't players like smurfs? Maybe because they dominate the lobby? Imagine playing pickup basketball and LeBron show up and just annihilates your whole team. Yeah sure is fun getting crushed. @CaptainCoach Ok thanks! And just to clarify, there is somehow a different between press F for a midair "melee attack" vs left click (Primary Attack, heavy blow)? So in order to hit them with bird'e eye view punch it has to be with melle attack not primary attack?
This was painful to watch. I don't really go deep in the game but I have been playing these games for a while, and it is always people pushing way to deep into danger or everyone absolutely terrified to get into the fight, I have been telling my friends to not fight on the point but in front of it while defending and to stop splitting up like everyone is a flanker, it has not sunk in yet.

There's no justification for being a smurf. Doesn't matter if you don't do it to beat up low ranks, you still do. AND the majority of people who do it are doing it to beat up low ranks. This game NEEDS placements.
I laugh when content creators make videos saying the way to climb out of bronze, silver etc is to just focus on yourself and how you play and you'll magically do it even if your teammates are terrible.
Eh, hulk can be great in low ranks. Just pretend you're that varros gangster in San Andreas. "Chase me, chase me!" Shoulda chased that Magik back to her spawn and started running in circles as soon as another one showed up. Also, why'd you throw wolverine into the dog house at 9:30?
Bronze is all about games played if your good enough to climb you will eventually climb with enough games. The team lotto is rough in bronze. But fear not once I made it to gold my games have felt so much better
In a couple months bronze will be full of influencers doing bronze to GM climbs and stuck diamond players. Your climb will be dependent on which team got the better smurf. Any GM on almost any DPS will hard carry regardless of how terrible your team is.
Started ranked yesterday. Wanted the Moonknight skin (even though I don't play him) but I don't think I'll bother. In *SILVER* I got 34-2 with 41k damage blocked on strange including a 6 man ult in OT to save our push, we eventually won in bonus time but having an instant lock Iron Man cry all game no one would kill hela and hawkeye and not switching until a random yelled at him for being a clown. Let's just say it's a good effort to win and still make me not want to play ranked anymore I dont really care what people play but if you're an insta lock and useless as a combo? Especially one that won't use his brain and switch when he's obviously outclassed? No sympathy when you get roasted
@Bckgroundguy101 😂 theyre extinct now surely Haven't played in a fair while though so maybe theres still a few gremlins out there, covid era name probably due an update lol
thanks bro, tips for penni. Idk she really counters Hulk hard, use your stun when people get low and are trying to get away. I see a lot of good pennies stack their mines on walls and throw them from a pretty far distance to get good damage off.
Play in your spider nest and don't put it in areas easy to shoot. You can extend the range of the nest with your right click up to 3 times so you can make the drones move around corners and into side rooms to catch out flankers. You can also tell your supports to play in the nest too as it makes it harder for dps like Iron Fist to come in and kill them as they'll take a ton of damage. One of the things Peni is really good at is dealing with flankers trying to take out supports as her stun and nest damage makes their life difficult. Your nest also stops Jeff's ult so if you play in it with your supports he can never kill you with it as he'll insta die to spider mines before he ever swims away. This is good on point control as you can have the nest up on point as a Bronze Jeff is looking for that clutch penta kill on the point which she easily denies. You can have 14 mines on the field at once so spam them liberally. Think about places the other team will want to go, flank routes, high ground and corners you can fling mines into so they'll constantly take damage or die to them trying to get around you. You can also spam between your left click to add more damage by making the other team step on mines. Your right click also stuns on a short cooldown so use it to stop escapes or venom getting his shield when he's low etc, you can also time it to stop a lot of ultimates so practice aiming this and reacting to ult voice lines to save your team. Peni is much more mobile than she seems, she can run up walls and also cling to them, your web sling can also help you climb and move faster by pulling yourself into walls and the floor. Peni also gets heals and shield from being on or attached to any web so always make sure you're using them. In a fight you can shoot a web at the floor to quickly take another angle and kill a support hiding behind a Strange Shield. Also quick tip for Strange as low level they will hold shield in your face a lot, they can't block you dropping mines everywhere or your melee so you can just start punching them if they shield in your face to get a kill on them. Regards, from a fellow Peni enjoyer.
my suggestion is to stop playing peni so that if i match with you i'll actually be able to play the characters i like without needing to rely on my idiot teammates who pretend the nest is their best friend
Tip don’t play peni. If you’re not countering dive there’s no reason to play her. In diamond and grandmaster ranks peni is hardly ever seen bc she’s pretty bad compared to the other tanks available.
He should hold further back by the corner instead of in their spawn. Reasoning is reward to risk: let’s say he unlikely kills 2. Since he’s camped out their spawn they are both back in 5 seconds. If he dies (which he did) he’s out for the 5 seconds of respawn and however long it takes him to get back to the battle. It’s a very long time; also groot has 0 mobility to disengage safely to cover. Once his walls break he’s reliant on his healers pumping heals straight into his ass to make up for his very bad positioning. If he played the corner he’s removing the risk, the stress on his supports, he is not in line of sight of the entire enemy team the whole time.
You CANNOT play support or tank in Bronze. Or rather, you will have an extremely hard time. If you want to get out of Bronze-Silver, you should be playing DPS. I started playing late in the season and Bronze was the worst. Gold was easy and Plat became.. almost as bad as Bronze. But nonetheless, I got out of these by relying on myself and carrying as a DPS, despite not being a DPS main. Once I had hit Gold, I went Tank and Support.
Got bronze to diamond solo no issue on support, I'm not that great at mechanics either, just positioned well trying ny best not to get picked by divers and hawkeyes etc and healed as much as I can So ima say cap on your comment
I really prefer it that way. You have to earn your rank. In LoL for example i know plenty of boosted friends that got to gold in season 5, and now play to get the skin to gold, and they only get there because they were gold last season. If they started from iron they would be stuck in low bronze for sure. Im dia btw.
@@jeanpierrepolnareff9919 I just think matches are crazy random right now. 1 match I feel like I do great or we just totally destroy the enemy team holding them at spawn the next I feel like I'm trying my best and we are just getting steamrolled like we don't know how to even play the game.

I agree with this (I even have a solo tank section in my Hulk guide), but at a certain point you might as well just play another tank and get more value from that. Ofc the argument against that would be if you're not as good on other tanks you might as well Hulk.
What do you do about a peni if your dps refuses to shoot her web machine? The thing has like 250 hp so Even if I waste my plasma clap and then bubble upon entry to start punching it I always get cc’d before I can kill it and escape

very useful commentary! would love to see more for Hulk and any others
tysm!
What makes me so mad about bronze is how 1 game youll toast the enemy and the the VERY NEXT ROUND your team gets obliterated as if they all fell asleep. Its crazyyyy
dang ur playing hulk in the terrifying way
I can't get out!!!!! It's rough out here
Elo hell
im usually a solo queue player in these games but for bronze up to diamond i would just add the most competent players and play with them im diamond 2 rn and my teams are usually a lot better when i solo queue now i would try that tbh
bad news: you belong there. There are always unwinnable games but if you can't get out... yeah.
@@karambadodox Eh not too worried about it. May pickup another Vanguard seeing that 80 percent of my games have 4 DPS and Hulk can't solo tank well. We'll see how it goes.
@P3rtzel thanks for the advice. I definitely need to find some folks to play with.
I agree, it's just the variance between player skill is the highest in Bronze, especially early into a games lifespan like Marvel Rivals.
This is why you just play hela to get out of low ranks lmao
Many thanks for the strategic commentary.
Captain Coach looks like a Tier 1 Bruce Banner xD
Some guy yesterday told me
Its easier to carry as tank
I was laughing internally (coz hela and hawkeye exist in enemy team)
"Who's on point?"
Not your team, never your team.
1:07 There is a way to do it without making the Bronze players second guess their life lol
It's called Quickmatch......
Ranked games are way better practice than Quick play where in half the matches you don't even get a real team comp, even in Bronze. Also, WE LOST
@CaptainCoach I do understand what you're saying, but if I just want to practice I would just go quick match understanding I'm playing with Regs,
so when I go comp with my team I can test my new players out in my skill level and not nerf myself with other bronze players.
It's just how I prefer to do it. Nothing personal brother.
"Uppies! Uppies!" Ass Wolverine.😂
the struggles of bronze lol, im glad I got out of bronze fairly quickly
When u smurf u don't play with your team, u have to play for your team.
Do you go for Iron Man with your jump? Ever since I did it for the first time its become a bad habit/addiction lol
All the time but I'm still figuring out the right angles to be consistent with it, it's tough.
I come from Apex and I'm adjusting. Its a lot to take in at first. Never played overwatch. I think there are a lot of people like me
Banners gun is very underated
How got to GM without mic and was it solo queue ?
Mostly solo q yes, I duo with my friends a little but they aren't the highest rank. Just use pings in game if you don't use mic, although I do use mic now
I made it to plat with no mic solo Q mainly played support and tank.
@Gtube3838 nice 👌
In bronze people want to play with picks they want they want win but not flex to win. They just play and cry when others not flex to they picks.
frankfurt servers are absolutely insane, because why are silver lobbies in frankfurt as hard as diamond lobbies in america minimum? there was a dude that played spiderman and he got 30 kills and died ONCE the entire match. he wasn't the only one popping off, that shit felt like a blue lock game
Wolverine: Uppies? 👉🏿👈🏿
It's bullcrap it's even a thing, let alone all these hardcore nerds acting like it's fine. They laugh about it.
I've been trying to climb as Hulk myself (also flexing strategist). It's rough. Made it to gold so far. Hoping to make it higher in Season 1.
2:09 When you jump over her and hit her at the apex of your jump arc, what did you hit her with? It wasn't a clap (right click) and it wasn't a stun attack because that's still on a cool down...Sorry for the n00b question I have only played for about 5 hours so far. To me it looks like he just raises his left arm with a punch and down she goes...
Also Where is your healing coming from 2:26 - 2:39? I mean it give you a bit of cover but doesn't give healing does it?
air punch (melee attack), you're attack range is deceptively long in the air for some reason
@CaptainCoach Wow what a game changer! It makes total sense with his Incredible Leaping but I never thought to try swinging my fist at someone far away. I wish the game woukd give your tutorials on the moveset of each characters (I come from a fighting game background). Thanks so much! Subbed and looking forward to becoming a fan of yours going forward.
(P.S. I would ask more of this random questions on the Reddit page but am unable to confirm my phone number, so I'm forced to ask on here. Thanks for taking the time to answer my n00b questions :))
@@Vandylizer To answer your other questions, the healing came from the Luna behind me. For learning moves, I just use the practice tool and press f1 for hero abilities although their website has better descriptions for abilities for some reason And hell yeah, that's awesome to hear. I'm not a big fighting game guy, but I do play Smash Bros with the squad every Friday :D
@CaptainCoach Ok thanks! And just to clarify, there is somehow a different between press F for a midair "melee attack" vs left click (Primary Attack, heavy blow)?
So in order to hit them with bird'e eye view punch it has to be with melle attack not primary attack?
smurfing is a scumbag move no matter how many excuses you make for yourself
This was painful to watch. I don't really go deep in the game but I have been playing these games for a while, and it is always people pushing way to deep into danger or everyone absolutely terrified to get into the fight, I have been telling my friends to not fight on the point but in front of it while defending and to stop splitting up like everyone is a flanker, it has not sunk in yet.
People act like this guy is committing war crimes for smurfing. 💀
Educational, entertaining, and appreciated. That’s a rough first match. Looking forward to the next one
just hit gm2 but to get this high i played DPS ONLY because now i can play strange with good teammates but up to like diamond(week 1 of game) i played hela Only
There's no justification for being a smurf. Doesn't matter if you don't do it to beat up low ranks, you still do. AND the majority of people who do it are doing it to beat up low ranks. This game NEEDS placements.
I made a Smurf for bp and when I tell you nobody listens to you to get in healer or tank it's crazy
This is hilarious to watch.
I got to gold 3 effortlessly just spamming hulk.
nice
I laugh when content creators make videos saying the way to climb out of bronze, silver etc is to just focus on yourself and how you play and you'll magically do it even if your teammates are terrible.
Eh, hulk can be great in low ranks.
Just pretend you're that varros gangster in San Andreas.
"Chase me, chase me!"
Shoulda chased that Magik back to her spawn and started running in circles as soon as another one showed up.
Also, why'd you throw wolverine into the dog house at 9:30?
Yeah. So ah…I’m not the best but if there is some decent players in here looking to push rank with comms.
I’m down to play. Agent_Who
Might take you up on that, I'm SneakySnuck (exact same as the TH-cam). Still dead stuck in Bronze tho.
@ Damn, well I’m higher gold now. Actually…it’s amazing what a little bit of practice and playing with some comms can do.
@@whos_agent2129 Jeez, dude. I'm never getting out of Bronze. 💀 Eh, it must be a skill issue tho.
Let's just say it's a good effort to win and still make me not want to play ranked anymore
I dont really care what people play but if you're an insta lock and useless as a combo? Especially one that won't use his brain and switch when he's obviously outclassed? No sympathy when you get roasted
Basement bubbas deserve far worse
@Bckgroundguy101 😂 theyre extinct now surely
Haven't played in a fair while though so maybe theres still a few gremlins out there, covid era name probably due an update lol
@@BasementBubbatunde lol i havent really played since chucky came out but ive heard facecamping is practically dead
Loser queue goes crazy. Play till you lose and then leave the game for a bit (2-5 hours) and in my experience teams are better
17:36 is so peak BRO 😭
My think is, if youre goong to practice new character why not just stay on your main account and go play wiick matches
Goes to show you. No matter how good you are, if your team is gash there's no way you can win.
13:35 there is no way this guy isn't intentionally throwing.
LOL wait I didn't even notice that. How about my own Punisher smoking me haha
im struggling in bronze as a soloq peni. got any tips? awesome gameplay btw your map/game knowledge is crazy
thanks bro, tips for penni.
What happened at 2:09? You punched her on the ground while in the air?
proof skill doesn't equal high rank
Ah, quick play lobbies.
If you’re in bronze stack or lose I’m one win away from getting out and every time I get insta lock dps players.
what do you mean Groot was out of position? Where should he be?
Odd. Thats exactly what every single insta lock bully dps thinks. Everyone else picking dps is the problem. Not you. No. Not you.
Got bronze to diamond solo no issue on support, I'm not that great at mechanics either, just positioned well trying ny best not to get picked by divers and hawkeyes etc and healed as much as I can
So ima say cap on your comment
@@larkohiya It's not a matter of "problem" at that rank. Simply put, you can demolish an entire team being DPS.
@@MaxiRSPS I'd say you got lucky. I've been coming across a lot of good one trick DPS. Black Panther, Psylocke, Iron Fists, etc.
I unno lol, I just made a hulk only account and got to gold in two hours

Why not practice new characters in quick play mode? I feel like the 2nd account thing is purely to ego boost and beat up on noobies.
Deserved tbh. Imagine making a new account to "LeArN nEw ChArAcTeRs" that's what QP is for. Stop ruining people's lobbies.
Hulk strong.
But not THAT strong.

Leave the children alone!
smurfing is cringe and people only do it to satiate their own egos

@@cantu7214 never bro i will break my 3 month no shower streak

This game needs placement matches. We all start at bronze blame it on the game lol.
@@ulukini9183 2 factors
1 many players come from overwatch, which is basically the same game so they understand how to play it, these are the godlike players you see
2 youre just bad, accept it, focus on improving and move on. The nature of this game is competitive and its not easy, you will not win every game.
“Finally getting some heals” acting like you hadn’t been healed multiple times. Let’s ignore the fact it’s a bronze Luna so her aim probably can’t keep up with all the leaping and a mantis that has to worry about leaf management on top of 4 people besides you and herself. The heals could have been better but let’s not act like you weren’t making it harder on top of not managing your expectations.
U right
winning in bronze is all luck no skill. Cause even if you do everything you have to pray your team will atleast press w (they wont)
Because the game is so new lot of the people in bronze still currently can just be high rank players in other hero shooters. Its really luck of the draw in there can you get a comp that isnt 4 duelists tank and a healer.
Why do you look like Bruce
At least your solo queuing while smurfing, It would be worst if u had a team full of Gm's and up smurfing just to roll on bronze players
Could you make a video on how to do advanced hulk movement seeing some crazy stuff on tiktok but they gatekeepers
I'm in the process of working on a big guide should be out by Season 1
u should have roast the iron man in ur teamm to let him know not to play dps again lmaooo cuz people who plays decent and being in bronze because of his fault
These people have early access to closed beta and alpha versions of the game a year before everyone else, know all this stuff about the game and then get to the highest rank then smurf the whole time everyone else is trying to enjoy the game is the main reason why people start bashing these types of games...
You should get the Geneva Conventions Amended for the virtual war crimes this guys committing 💀💀💀🤣
Lmaooo. (He learned where the health packs are and how his basic kit works)
@TrashTierStellaris I guess this is funny but still it just makes it even worse when you gotta babysit a squad of "it's just a video game" edge-lords all while the other team is 6 stacked with smurfs trying to "practice" a new character. Its frustrating 🤣

Venom is, too. Hop in and get some damage but once you try to leave penny webs and you die
As a solo gm 1 hulk main I have not found a matchup where I feel like I’m countered. Hulk can make it work with any team comp in ranked as long as ur playing it correctly.
You should high key change your camera angle a bit cause you’re barely on screen
Why dont you just practice them in normals lmao
New accounts from people who hit diamond and GM should start at Plat so they are not ruining the game for low elo players.

"If I had comms I could of, maybe, carried this, I could of told the team to stop running in and dying" you sweet summer child. You get flamed for trying to say things like that in bronze. People can not stand voice coms at this rank. The hardest part about ranking up in bronze silver is how much people are inclined to do the opposite of any sort of coordination. You wanna group for an ult push, half your team will ignore you and flank. if you're lucky they don't cry or become toxic after you try to use voice comms.
Also I'm giving up on the idea of ranking while playing hulk. I love him to death, but as soon as I try a comp game without my 4 stack its just hellish, I get SVP and will just get relentlessly flamed in game chat for being a "terrible hulk" as bronze players expect hulk to do nothing but stand in the frontline soaking damage for them as if he's a shield tank
lol yeah i played iron fist games (who is supposedly not good) and go like 42-2 most games. Hulk i can barely pull off 30s
I mean its the same as any team game. Use your teammates as bait, look out for squishy enemies mispositioning.
