Spamton saying "You" is propably meant to refer to the player He himself most likely meant to say that to Kris but the game likes to give those little hints that "they" are talking to us, the player And of course, they are Kris That person even says: "honestly, i don't know if even i can hear myself" Perhaps that's a hint to us being the typical silent protagonist and that Kris isn't very talkative either so perhaps when they do say something they are talking with almost unhearable tone of the voice which is common for shy or not very social people.
The tea is probably unique to how each character feels about each other. Giving ralsei tea to susie shows us how susie thinks of ralsei, but when ralsei gets his tea its just water because of something to do with having an opinion of yourself.
Hey I don’t think you’ve mentioned this before, but when you try to take an item from Susie without replacing it with something, she says “Hey! Hands Off!” and won’t let you. This is in both Chapter 1 & 2
29:13 it is theorized that, since the EmptyDisk and LoadedDisk are key items and therefore can be accesed through your inventory in the light world, you would have the chance to give it to metatton next chapter ("Tomorrow"), which is interesting since mettaton is the one to have supposedly created spamton NEO's body.
I think Mettaton (or to be exact, Napstablook's cousin) drew that robot in Paint on that computer in computer lab. Hence why it even exists in Cyber World. They propably got sad when they finished it and deleted it which would explain why the robot is in the basement. The Swatch says he helped them which could mean he's supposed to be the Paint program. Maybe i'm too slow with this discovery lol

I think "that isn't human" is itself a trope in undertale. The most human characters in undertale are the monster themselves. But Chara is a monster. So the "it" for the knight CAN be referring to a human, but one who has lost all the traits that define having a soul. And not having a soul being a important thing, because Kris's soul is apparently not his original one.

I think the hidden text may be dess who got trapped in a dark world but the fountain was closed with her still inside, the darkners return to their item form but as a lightner she should have exited with the fountain closing

Meanwhile Krys is sharing a meaningful conversation with Yoki.

I noticed yesterday during my playthrough that Kris can sometimes, or maybe only the first time you check their stats in cyber world, have a dog stat with mysterious effects
It can happen randomly in either chapter. I don't remember the chance of it happening, but you can usually get it fairly quickly if you scroll through all the stat screens really fast.
Here's a very random thing for you! In Chapter 1, when you Ralsei and Susie are in the elevator for the first time, the sound it's making is the same sound that plays at the beggining of the Phantom Train song (and while on the Phantom Train) in FFVI/FFIII(US). I recognised it straight away, and considering this isn't the first FFVI reference in the franchise, I'd say this was a safe bet at a little nod to fans of both :) Thanks for doing these videos man, they're a pleasure to watch and a delight to see all the bits that me and my Girlfriend missed through our playthroughs :)

I've actually been loving your gaster egg videos. Deltarune is exactly the kinda game with sooo much stuff hidden in it and this is the perfect format to, in a way, finally 100% these first two chapters.
On the graveyard, you can see every single amalgamate's grave EXCEPT the reaper bird. And Everyman also appear the first time in battle with reaper bird.
I feel like the spaghetti code joke is way older than just team fortress 2, and it relates to old code with lots of GOTO/JUMP commands from back when that was a big thing.
Hearing about these things is always weird to me because a certain trio of games made me get used to yandev-style else if-chains with added jumping around big time.

It's awfully similar, not totally, but close enough. The Holy is the most prominent leitmotif there though, and the name is "Flashback excerpt" in the files :P

I may be wrong but it seems like the fight against Giga Queen has 2 Dragon Ball references. When the Modes are activated, the "zord" has a similar aura like the Z Fighters (Duck Mode has a Super Saiyan aura, FireMode has the Kaioken or SS God aura, SwordMode has SS God Blue aura, LaserMode has normal Ki aura). And the Queen's power-up is similar to Mastered Ultra Instinct. Even if it's not the case, it's a cool coincidence. :D

I’m not sure where the exact origin of the idea of the different flavored teas comes from, but I remember growing up reading a book series called “Sideways Stories from Wayside School”, where in one chapter students would try ice cream flavors based on each of their classmates, and their reactions to the flavors revealed how they felt about that classmate. If the student ate their own flavor, they weren’t able to taste anything.
Long and short of the Tea Theory is that a lot can be gleaned about the different characters' perceptions of and relationships with each other. The primary point of inference is the amount of HP being healed when a character drinks it. But it's an amazing video and everyone should go watch it!

It's a hilarious skit, really funny thing to include in his game

Undertale and deltarunes codebase is pure spaghetti, ffs ch2 and ch1 have completely different engines and are in the same game, and there’s almost 500 scripts in global and there are thousands of random scripts that aren’t even used and the collision system is horribly optimized

I think the hidden text may be dess who got trapped in a dark world but the fountain was closed with her still inside, the darkners return to their item form but as a lightner she should have exited with the fountain closing

Kris Susie and Ralsei - pardon I mean Krys Zusy and Lerias- are searching for a dark fountain in this world but they can't find it.
Lerias is unable to sense it anywhere and Zusy doesn't want Yoki to help the gang out (which is making me think Susie is the one that got them trapped in a different world). Meanwhile Krys is sharing a meaningful conversation with Yoki.

Sometimes she can fly, other times she needs help with that.
She gets nightmares a lot.
And most importantly
she would destroy Mettaton in a battle of poses.

I noticed yesterday during my playthrough that Kris can sometimes, or maybe only the first time you check their stats in cyber world, have a dog stat with mysterious effects
It can happen randomly in either chapter. I don't remember the chance of it happening, but you can usually get it fairly quickly if you scroll through all the stat screens really fast.

Here's a very random thing for you!
In Chapter 1, when you Ralsei and Susie are in the elevator for the first time, the sound it's making is the same sound that plays at the beggining of the Phantom Train song (and while on the Phantom Train) in FFVI/FFIII(US). I recognised it straight away, and considering this isn't the first FFVI reference in the franchise, I'd say this was a safe bet at a little nod to fans of both :)

I've actually been loving your gaster egg videos. Deltarune is exactly the kinda game with sooo much stuff hidden in it and this is the perfect format to, in a way, finally 100% these first two chapters.
On the graveyard, you can see every single amalgamate's grave EXCEPT the reaper bird. And Everyman also appear the first time in battle with reaper bird.

I feel like the spaghetti code joke is way older than just team fortress 2, and it relates to old code with lots of GOTO/JUMP commands from back when that was a big thing.
Hearing about these things is always weird to me because a certain trio of games made me get used to yandev-style else if-chains with added jumping around big time.

Hey there! Big fan. I’m just commenting again to point out a detail that I found, that is still fairly unknown and is quite interesting. The music that plays in the end of the snowgrave route in the hospital (when the screen goes black and all that) is gaster’s theme slowed down.
It's awfully similar, not totally, but close enough. The Holy is the most prominent leitmotif there though, and the name is "Flashback excerpt" in the files :P

I may be wrong but it seems like the fight against Giga Queen has 2 Dragon Ball references. When the Modes are activated, the "zord" has a similar aura like the Z Fighters (Duck Mode has a Super Saiyan aura, FireMode has the Kaioken or SS God aura, SwordMode has SS God Blue aura, LaserMode has normal Ki aura). And the Queen's power-up is similar to Mastered Ultra Instinct.
Even if it's not the case, it's a cool coincidence. :D

I’m not sure where the exact origin of the idea of the different flavored teas comes from, but I remember growing up reading a book series called “Sideways Stories from Wayside School”, where in one chapter students would try ice cream flavors based on each of their classmates, and their reactions to the flavors revealed how they felt about that classmate. Hey man, love the videos! 2 "Gaster Eggs" from chapter 2 that I picked up on my play through that I don't think you covered are both in Homeworld after beating the final boss. 1: in San's grocery shop if you interact with one of the food crates it mentions Walnuts, peanuts, pinapple smells (I forget the exact wording) - this is a reference to the DK64 Donkey Kong Rap :) 2 - The guy on the skateboard outside of the church who calls himself "Terry" not "Jerry" is a reference to the famous Derrick Comedy skit "Jerry" where Donald Glover plays a character who poops his pants in class and changes his identity to a kid named Brian who likes to skateboard. It's a hilarious skit, really funny thing to include in his game
