Did I miss out on buying one of these? I didn't know the full state of the machine because I couldn't get there personally but knowing how much repairs usually cost I decided to go for a Sansui D550M that was 100 bucks less and with a recent service done to it
My god, 1970s made in Japan stereo gear (the quality stuff) were objects of beauty, solidity, elegance and precision that nothing since can matched. It's a shame that proud Japanese industry deteriorated into the flimsy plastic shit of the 1980s.
Очень приятный и хороший аппарат, берегите его, успехов!
Thanks!

The Sansui looks like a fine deck, and it's newer than this line. Looks like a great deck!
I have one but it does not have the wood case . Where could I order one?
Good luck on finding a wooden case. Keep a watch on eBay. I made one after receiving a deck with a wooden case that was in really bad shape.
I recently found one and have it up on eBay, if you're interested.

Agreed!
