Hi guys! This is the 💈barber💈speaking. I just wanted to let you all know that I was really surprised by the new tank. It was so beautiful. I enjoy it so much! Many customers that come at my place always say that the fish tank is amazing! And the ones that like aquariums I tell them off course watch M.J ! I am happy to have him as a customer . Let’s call him a friend also.
I love that you rescaped his aquarium so beautifully. I know not everyone is like me but I would be sad to not have my same fish and it looked like they were breeding. I would have put the original fish back in because I get attached but you know your barber and it turned out great.
Very nice move from you to fresh up the barbers' aquarium! But are you sure he will not miss his fishes? The ones he'd been taken care of on his own for over a year?😮
Looks awesome, I'd be Happy to see all of that coming back. My kid however would have a very aggressive and violent reaction if his goldfish was replaced when he came back.
Not just kids, I would be upset too, and I am a grown-up! If something bad append to the fish I want to know what and why, etc... so I can avoid doing the same error.
The scape looks awesome!!! If i leave my aquarium and the person in charge make a scape like that go for it!!! But..... please leave my fish in there and dont change them!! They are my babies and I would just get very sad/ mad hahaha.
Bought a Dennerle tank from you, years ago… amazing to see what a great channel you have. Absolutly stunning congratz! My first try lasted a few months,i made all the mistakes. But by watching your vids, i got back in the game. Thanks so much for the time you put in your channel. Amazing en groetjes 😊
Lovely scape again MJ 🥰🐠👏🏼 Sometimes less is more 😊 What a lovely gesture and surprise for your Barber too I’m sure he was stoked and gives you a free cut next time 💇🏻♂️
Beautiful ❤. MJ, it will be really helpful if you share how you maintain this tank - fertilizer method and dozing, cleanup, trimming. That’s the hard part - to keep this beauty over time. Thanks 😊
I hear alot about this plant densely lately from certain tropica sales men, they got me i spent £50-60 on UG only for it to melt and turn to slime after two weeks, if you've never grown a type of plant i would recommend only buying one or two pots and waiting a couple of weeks to see how it does before planting densely!
@@elune43749 It was dry start and cycled the soil for 1 month before ,Ammonia tested was undetectable with the Api test kit but there must of still been small levels to melt the ug
Thhat was so nice of you! How did your barber react to his re-scaped nano cube?! Once again an amazing wee build. I was at my LFS on Thursday just to pick out some wood and stone for a tank that is yet to start still getting bits and bobs. I can only assume you know that when you go in to LFS you plan on only buying one or two things but it never ever happens that way 😅 So although I'm just away to start scaping a large nano cube ita nowhere near ready for plants let alone fish but i came across this stunning male black and white dragon scale plakat with beautiful bluel iridescence and sporting one red eye and the other blue. He was absolutely stunning and I knew i had to have him and have called him Astroid and it suits him well. At the moment he is in a bare bottom holding tank which isn't ideal in size as it is only two gallons but there is a filter, live plants including floating plants, there are also smooth pebbles, moss ball and botanicals and for lighting a small Nicrew that can be placed in or out of water. I think Astroid will be fine in this for a wee while because he is half the size of an average betta, i actually couldn't believe the size difference and that now gets me thinking on how large the king Bettas are 🤔 I have a couple of tanks in mind so looking forward to getting started and thanks again for putting out another amazing scape 🙌 ✌️➕💙4️⃣🐠🌱
For some reason Staugyrone Repens never lasts in my tank for long. A LFS nearby (20 min of walk) has the same issue, so probably something missing in the water. However it should be growing without any extra CO_2. Also the tank looks great!
Great videos thanks! What do you think about fluid carbon fertilizer? Because I don't have the money or the space for co2 system... Do you have a co2 system and an external filter for each of your aquariums..? Can you make a video for beginners with vegetation and an internal filter and an internal thermostat? It's a type of aquarium that a beginner buys..thanks in advance :)
So im about to do some sort of an indoor pond in a 60cm tank (no CO2) ... basicly some stone / wood build in the middle (to the back) with included (exchangeable) filter media in the base, pump and sprinklers going to the top plateau. Aquascape in the Water with plants, and ontop big farn and some pothos rooting into the aquarium. Ofc moss ontop and in the water. Planing to add in the upper waterfree top some springtails, to the water some snails shrimps maybe. Even a sweetwater crab which can climb up .... and Any ideas or suggestions for plants/soil? Cheers!
hi! nice tank you did here.. may i ask what filter was used for your barber's tank? I am new to this hobby and doing my research.. came across your channel and loved it!
Great growth without CO2 in only what? 10 days? Mark, do you know the water params at the barber's place (KH, GH)? Thanks for presenting this amazing rescape with just three stones and one root.
How do you prevent the plants from floating up when you first place them and they havent rooted yet? I am researching to start my first planted aquarium and this seems like it could be a problem?
Beautiful scape man. How'd your barber like it? Barber shops ars a thing I really miss about my time in Italy. U.S. has them, but they're crazy expensive and very rare. Our drive thru culture prefers a quick cut. I had a barber for a while, buddy of mine, then we moved and the drive was too punishing. I am tired of having a different hair stylist (usually 20 something girl with hardly any experience) every hair cut, though.

Wish he did a aquascape for me too. Personally i feel you should have just gifted him a new scape to keep cuz i really liked how the first one looked and its vibe. P.S. What was his reaction bro. Show us.
Very nice! I see the Ember Tetras are way more in the foreground than in my tank... What's your secret? 😉😁 Edit: Is it the numbers? So far, I've got 10 Hyph. amandae, 10 Corydoras pigmaeus and 4 Otocinclus (which started breeding after 1.5 weeks) in a 55l tank. I am very cautious when it comes to (over)stocking.

Yes! A follow up at some point would be cool
I love that you rescaped his aquarium so beautifully. I know not everyone is like me but I would be sad to not have my same fish and it looked like they were breeding. I would have put the original fish back in because I get attached but you know your barber and it turned out great.

I'd love to hear his explanation because I would definitely be question where my fish went and not at all think about the rescape.
The excitement of sharing the hobby with the people in our lives translated well here!
Wow what a difference. It’s so vibrant and lush.

The tank looks really pretty… But you didn’t give him his fish back? Those ones with the pretty flowing tails from the beginning? 😳
My friend beat up his barber cuz he got the wrong cut. Seems like your barber is lucky to have you!
Your friend sounds like he no one should call him a friend. What a piece of crap.

beautiful aquarium like brasil is a peacer to watch your videos!!!!!!
I really do like those Dennerle tanks with the rounded corners. Im thinking of getting the scaper 55L for a Betta.
I got a 55l Dennerle tank and I am very happy with it.
Your barber is lucky! This is a beautiful tank!
Looks great again MJ! Very cool surprise. I am sure your barber is happy with the upgrade and fresh layout.
just one word: STUNNING

Only plant UG in mature substrate low nutrients and very soft water, if you can keep caradina shrimp in it you can grow ug
It melts with any ammonia. You need to use old soil or dry start

For 1year aquascape with no co2 that pretty good actually
Great aquascape 👍🏻

What’s the water gh/kh and what floating plants did you use here? Love this setup and I’m trying to set one up just like it
Hey, nice tank. What do you do when some plant leaves are yellowing?
That looks nice. And the new fish definitly better, than the guppys before.
hi! nice tank you did here.. may i ask what filter was used for your barber's tank? I am new to this hobby and doing my research.. came across your channel and loved it!
Any tips to get fish to really show there true color like this are amazing ember tetras bright red .
You should do a review of the new Chihiros B Series budget light!
GOOD JOB
Gorgeous
Great growth without CO2 in only what? 10 days? Mark, do you know the water params at the barber's place (KH, GH)?
Thanks for presenting this amazing rescape with just three stones and one root.
KH 7 and GH 9
Thank you, these values in combination with soil seem to work very well.
What happened to the guppies?
I'm going to set up a new tank for them :)
Did you recently changed your camera? Or did you started to upload in 4k? New res looks amazing! Great video btw :)
Still using my Iphone, but I did get a better laptop to handle the 4k editing ;)
how long did you cycle the tank, before adding your fish?
Much better than the 1st scape id say 👌🏽
How did he react?
How do you prevent the plants from floating up when you first place them and they havent rooted yet? I am researching to start my first planted aquarium and this seems like it could be a problem?
Beautiful red fishes. What are they called?
ember tetra
Looks great. Have you ever tried to use a plenum from that "anoxic filtration" method?
No never tried it :)
What's your set up for the light?
I got the set up with light so i'm interested :)
do u use water mixed with co2 in this? plants grow nicely but mine keep melting.. whats going on
Other Question, i wanna Make New Tank Like This ( Not This :D) if i use small small hangon filter, is not bad for it ( 50*40*40 Tank Size)
Very useful video and the scape is lovely to see . And those endler guppies got new clothes, how did you manage that?
I'd rather think Mark fed the Endlers with carrots and beans? 😂
Finally, someone with a sense of humor, thank you Nancy you made my day!
@@detlefh.7090 😊
What settings do you use for the chiciros lighting in this aquarium?
Do you also increase it weekly and at what settings do you end up?
I this tank I use all 3 colours on 60%
What are the new fish?
He had green fish, at the end i see red fish.... Did the green endler guppy die?

Did you try the clippers while you were in the shop? 😂
Ember tetra is immortal 😂😂😂

Reaction ?
I don't get it. Such a nice set up and he takes it down. I wish I could get a tank to look like that. But I must say, the re do came out awesome.

Absolutely
thank you for your reply and love your videos ♥️
Where is his reaction?
What happened to the original fish?
I moved them to my outdoor pond :)
The only thing I don't like is the aquasoil doesn't look natural. Maybe cap it with something?
what type of filter you use?
That's an internal Dennerle nano corner-filter.
Nice, about €100 worth of plants
Can anyone give me an ID on the fish species at 1:20? With the long, yellow tail fin.
Tiger endler guppy :)
