Mine requires the motor to be sideways and so I haven’t been able to find a solution to install it yet. I scrolled back to your home tour but that didn’t explain it either. Thanks in advance!

If you have a tight budget then look for those automations that are going to give you the most benefits first, ultimately is to automate as much as possible :)

Using the 4 gang Z1 Pro as an example, this means that if I install it with a T1M ceiling light - i should connect it to L1? Then run it in decoupled mode so that I can use the 1st and 2nd buttons to control the main light and the led ring separately? or should I simply connect the light to L? which would mean that i actually have a triple relay in the switch that can be used independent of the buttons, for any non smart items like a dumb light / fan?
Thanks on the Z1 switch coverage. Would you know if the dimmer would work well with non-Aqara lights like those from Sol Luminaire or even those from older dimmable lights?
tested and proven, both the slider and 4th button (4gang model) is able to work well with mqtt for HA users!

Alex, that means the slider and the 4th button can be used to control non Aqara product? For example, the slider can dim a non aqara LED strip?

these are smart switches, not power sockets

I always advise to pick the smart home systems that you want to use first, then get the devices

its not a dimmer switch, so far i don't see any issues on mqtt with all my other smart lights
