This mix set is interesting and all...but... Here's a tip for the most broken status Blademaster set in-game (in my honest opinion): Upon hunting Dreadqueen Rathian sometimes, you'll eventually get your full set, all your armor pieces to lvl 6, the full set will unlock it's Deviant only compound skill, which in case of Dreadqueen, gives wonderfull Status Up Skills... Crit. Eye +2 Status Crit (Dreadqueen compound skill) = Status Atk +2 and Wide Range +2 Get the Sandman's Swordfin + the ridiculousy overpowered Tenderizer +5/+4 OOO ( Sakura farming for AGES, but worth it). With the charm in hands, gem in Weakness Exploit, ( if you get the SnS mentioned in the video and the Tenderizer Jewel 3, which has +4 points to Tenderizer and requires 3 empty slots to be gemmed in, it shouldn't pose a problem). After this, you just have to remember to eat for "Felyne Pyro", which gives you basically the same effects as the Armor Skill "Bombardier". To top it all off, use Affinity Oil, which gives you 30% affinity bonus for 2 minutes... This gives roughly 100% affinity ( during the Affinity Oil's duration, and if you hit monsters on their weakspots), crazy sleep bombing runs and just other BROKEN TO F*CK if you use Adept + the Hunter Art, "Sword Dance". I've found a decent low rank armour set that deserves some recognition for how good it is mostly nargacuga and skalda peices head: skalda vertex O-- torso: narga mail O-- arms: skalda brachia --- waist: skalda elytra --- legs: narga greaves --O it should give evade distance +8, crit status +8 and expert +8, use any 3 slot talisman then gem in 2 extra points for each. I hope that this set gets more attention, I used it alot in the early parts of low rank, sadly I can't find a link to the original post.
Here's a set is focused on the Lost Musket LBG that has a couple different iterations but I thought I might share one I found that works well. Sadly it does require a pretty rare charm though. Skills: Recoil Down +3 Load Up Artillery Novice Trueshot up (Trueshot up is more of a bonus if you have a good enough charm, the main skills needed are the top 3) Decorations: 1x Absorber Jwl 3 5x Irregular Jwl 1 5x Artillery Jwl 1 Armor: Barrage Earring Battle Vest S EX Arc Guards (You can use a Torso Up armpiece instead if you place 2 Irregular Jwls the vest) Hermitaur Coat R Hermitaur Leggings S Set can work with any 3 slot weapon, but this is meant to work with the Lost Musket The set require Full House to work effectively, and is best paired with Striker due to being able to equip both Absolute Readiness and Absolute Evasion Charm needed is a Recoil +5 OOO, but other versions can be made with other recoil charms. This set focuses on the mass amount of Crag and clust shots the Lost Musket can fire in rapid succession due to Full House and Recoil Down +3, being able to knock out monsters and do large amounts of fixed damage. It also has access to Cannon, Triblast and Flash, making it useful for monsters like Rathalos. One Downside to the set is it relies on bringing alot of materials to make more Crag and Clust shots, but with a bit of switching around the combo list preferences, it can be very deadly, especially against monsters that may have low damage hitzones (Silver and Gold raths)

For maximum fabulousness I would use the first clothing option, and make it white!!!

Doesn't require weapon slots BUT with 2 slots you can drop to Attack up M and gem in any 2 point/slot skill by replacing the attack jwl 3, so it makes a nice template. Hopefully the talisman isn't too godly.
I know there are a ton of Sleep Bomber Sets but here is another one: Chaos Archbun Chaos Archplate Gammoth Braces S Bnahabra Coil S Dark Metal Boots -------- +4 Destroyer 00 or +5 Destroyer 0 -------- x5 Bombardier Jewel 1 x1 Destroyer Jewel 3 Skills: Status ATK +2, Partbreaker, Bombardier I use IG (All three Status Branches) with this set and have a lot of fun with it. The Max DEF (536) is decent and I like the look of the set, except the Legs don't change color so it does look off. As is, the 6 open slots (take out Bombardier) you can use any jewel that gives +2 in a single slot. If you use a weapon with slots, the set opens up to almost any additional skill. You can also use any 3 slot charm with a decent skill and add in another Destroyer Jewel 3. The nice thing about this set, is that its rather easy to make if you have been using your Meownster Hunters and Neko. The hardest thing to get was the Trunkspine.
This is a set if you just want to pump out DPS. It's a relatively good set for most blademaster weapons, even if it was a pain to make. It goes like this: Hayabusa feather Hermitaur Mail R 000 (1 Tenderizer level 3 jewel) Arc Braces R Kushala Cocoon R 0 (1 Tenderizer level 1 jewel) EX Hermitaur Greaves Expert+5 000 (1 Tenderizer level 1 jewel. 1 Handicraft level 2 jewel) This gets you, without any weapon slots, Sharpness+1, Critical Eye+3 and weakness exploit. You could theoretically get Sharpness+2 if you had a good talisman, or when the hyper Jho comes out, and you could use some of his armour. I got lucky, and got an expert+8, fencing+2, 3 slot charm, so you can slip down to Critical Eye+2, if you don't have a God talon. Just use an 3 slot charm, or a charm related to one of the skills, and change gems around accordingly.

Weapon: Green Sharpness with 2 slots Akantor R (1x Fencing Jewel 1) Ceanataur Mail R (FREE SLOT) Akantor Claws R (FREE SLOT) Chrome Metal Coil Akantor Hessian R (1x Expert Jewel 2) Talisman: Sharpness +4 Artillery +10 (Unfortunately I don't have any slots on this one, BUT BOY IF I DID!) Skills: Razor Sharp Mind's Eye Bludgeoner Critical Eye +1 Artillery Novice +1 Again, play around with the set, make some changes or upgrades! Let me know what you think! Good luck!
Hi Arekkz, this is the set I am actually using for the late game (just got to HR60): Hayabusa Feather EX Brachydios Mail O Kushala Grip R O Kushala Cocoon R O Arc Greaves R Charm: Tenderizer+5 OOO 1x Tenderizer Jwl 3 1x Tenderizer Jwl 1 In this way it gives Critical Eye +2, Weakness exploit and sharpness +2. I use this set with the Spiked glory hammer with 220 raw and 15% affinity that stacks on top, and with sharpness +2 it get a nice amount of white sharpness. If you are lucky enough to get a Tenderizer +5 attack +8/9 OOO charm you can gem in attack up small on top since there are 2 free slot in the set
Set variation: Rathalos Elm S EX Brachydios Mail O Kushala Grip R O Kushala Cocoon R O Arc Greaves R Charm: Tenderizer+5 OOO 1x Tenderizer Jwl 1 2x Attack Jwl 1 1x Attack Jwl 3 In this way it gives Attack Up Small, Weakness exploit and Sharpness +2. The damage output decrease a bit but the defense is higher and it is useful for fighting solo.
Toka helm arms and legs silverwind chest and waist . Plus a critical element talisman 5 with 3 slots and 4 chain jwls. Gives same stats as the toka set but in my opinion looks way cooler.

I just don't have a good enough Punish Draw Talisman to make it yet. The set would be built the same way, just with a Punish Draw Talisman and Decorations! Good luck!

this mixed set is one that i use alot for greatsword, but you need a suuuuuuper specific talisman so its not all that good but, you can make this at hr7: its a combination of the seregios helm, urugaan mail, tetsu arms, high metal U waist armor, and mosgharl legs with a focus +5 OOO. this armor set does not use any weapon slots and if you gem in the right skills you get crit draw, punish draw and focus.

I found a descent greatsword set. It gives razor sharp, crit draw, and focus. Just use the Black Head S, Damascus Mail, Divine Ire Kote, Vaik Flauds, Divine Ire Hakama, and any talisman able to get +5 to Crit Draw. An end game set, yes, but a nice one that works well with all greatswords.
Here's my kushala hame set Use the savage Jho lbg Escadora R (1 salvo jwl 1) Death stench S(2 salvo jwl 1) Escadora R(1 element jwl1) EX Brachydios(1 salvo jwl3) Kushala S(open slot) This set gives Dragon ark+2 Element atk up Bonus shot You'll need a dragon attack 12 talismin (or a tali that can get you to 12) This is the set I use when I want to hunt kushala daora, gust like in 4u where you used the rusty daora lbg to deal dragon damage to kushala (and kill in seconds if used proportion) this set does the same. The savage Jho lbg can load 3 dragon lv1 shells(max that you can carry) and the dragon shells are on rapid 3, meaning that you shoot 3 shots pure dragon shel, so if you use bonus shot your adding a bother shot fired, bringing it from 3 shots to 4 shots, the dragon attack +2 and elemental attack up are here so that we can deal even more dragon damage.
Here's my a really fun set that I made It's gust a simple set that I don't seam to use much but I might as well share it bu cause it's funny For this set I have 2 variations 1 silver wind nargacuga lbg Hayabusa feather EX kushala Akantor R Dreadqueen Jaggi boots (the expert ones) (2x chain jwl1 Tali (for both sets) pierce 5 - 3 slot Put a chain jwl3 in the tali The second variation is if you don't want to farm silverwind but instead dead eye Normal narga lbg Hayabusa feather EX kushala Akantor R Dreadqueen Deadeye This time put 1 expert jwl1 in the weapon and 1 in the torso, and put 1 chain jwl 3 in the tali These 2 sets give critical eye +3, pierce up, and repeat offender, seeing how both of the lbg have 40% affinity, so with crit eye +3 it goes up to 70%, and repeat offender will raise it up to 100% This is gust a fun set that I made (I made doth XD) and this is the first mix set that I have seen use varient armour pieces in it.
The name that I've given to tha Jho lbg set is: Dragon king (or queen if your the female character), I haven't given the second set a name yet, so if it is used please give it a name. Hopefully the second set is eye catching because of the varient armour in it. It was a bit of a pain to get but so worth it
Hey Arekks. Here's my Adaptoid set. I call it that cuz u can swap out the legs n waist along with ur talisman to change ur skills. It also works well with any slotted weapon so it's very versatile with Gunlances, Charge Blades, or any gun that has crag shots cuz u can get either artillery novice or expert depending on how u get the 5 extra points n razor sharp. Here's what I have right now. Hyper Seregios Gunlance: has artillery jewel n shield jewel level one Skull visage Seltas Mail Seltas Vambraces EX Rathian Faulds S EX Rathian Greaves S Rook Talisman OO (artillery +5 n honey -2): shield jewel level 2 The head, torso, n the arms along with the artillery decoration in the weapon provide razor sharp and artillery novice. The waist n legs I have can rookie guard boost and maybe even guard +1 if u got a double slotted talisman with 6 skill points for guard (which is possible, just do lots of Sakura runs)
The main gimmick about my set is that u can change certain parts and still keep the core skills. Gunners get ammo saver too but I recommend using the ones with crag shot cuz of artillery. Anyway, u can change the set however u want so long as u have a torso up part, and the Seltas arms and torso parts. For example, u can use the chrome metal waist which has torso up and use that instead of the skull S to add those sweet barrage n sword n Saint earring. The waist, legs, and talisman can all be well mixed with the armor. In other words, this set literally allows for huge amounts of versatility by making the talismans n other armor pieces work with 3 main core parts and a decoration. This set is for all u guys who have $#!+ luck like me and I hope u enjoy this versatile Adaptoid set of mine.
Hey Arekkz, great video as always! I'd like to suggest a mixed set for High rank/onwards, focused on capturing. It gives Capture Master, Capture Guru and Critical Eye +2 and looks pretty great as well! No difficult talisman is needed, just a 3-slot talisman and one weapon slot will work. The parts needed: 1slot weapon + Perception jewel 1) Hayabusa Feather Scholarly Suit S (Capture jewel 1) Black Belt Braces S Najarala Faulds S (Capture jewel 1) Najarala Greaves S (Perception jewel 1) 3-slot talisman (3x Perception jewel 1) I've got the feather coloured orange, chest coloured yellow and the last three coloured blue so it all matches up colour wise and looks awesome :) I like to use it with the Tigrex CB, the colours match wonderfully and it has a slot + awesome raw power. If you've got a better talisman you may be able to get even more skills on it like Crit eye +3, Earplugs or Speed setup. I'm using Perception +8 so I don't have to use a weapon with a slot. I've recently made a similar set based around the stylish bombing in MH4U Struxion Demolisher SnS EX Gore Cap Any 3 slot chest Akantor claws R Gore Faulds R Gore Greaves R Blunt+5 3slot Talisman all decorations should be filled with 5 speed setup and 5 bomb boost set gives Spirit +15 Blunt +10 Speed setup up+10 Bomb boost +10 when used with adept SnS you can place and detonate bombs quickly mid battle, then evade through it and get mounts, or even get the back evade attack for big damage. Struxion Demolisher also has long Green when you eat through the small blue sharpness pretty quickly giving the set essentially +35 true attack when the monster is enraged (which happens easily when using 15 bombs!)

Modified version of Rising Fun Gaming's bow set. Minus the Ammo Saver. It's OK I guess.. just that the lack of Ammo Save means you have only 90 coating-boosted shots before you have to dry-fire (as in firing without coatings).
+Renka That is a downside, but you have to bear in mind that not everyone will have the right talisman for the job. This set is really built for accessibility, and therefore isn't the actual set I use when hunting with the Teo bow.
+TechnologicJay I have an alternative method, but it doesnt come with Load Up. Use everything RisingFunGaming uses, except the helmet. (I'm using my Akantor R blademaster helm just for the lols).
+TechnologicJay I wouldnt say "most important", but yes it certainly is one of the main skills a Teostra bow user should have. Just my opinion though. I prefer having Ammo Saver more than Load Up, since Ammo Saver gives you additional running time with the bow's 90 coating-boosted shots. I'm also lacking the Barrage Piercing at the moment, so I'll put priority to what I can fully utilise. for the time being.

this is a set that I made and it's something you can get right of the gate and it's a set that gives attack up L you need bulldrome cap (because you need a total of 4 slots) jaggi mail Bulldrome braces jaggi faulds bulldrome greaves and in every slot you put an attack decoration level 1
I would also like to share about a small secret here, But first this idea is from my hunter friend, Kamii When you know you gonna fight a monster with a small roar, I'll suggest a simple mix set that comes from dreadking set ( from Dread King Rathalos) You will get the following skill, Earplug Razor sharp Weakness exploit Dreadking soul ( attack up L,Wind resistance Hi) *Need to have at least a talisman with sharpness 5, 2 slots to make it works Use a GUNNER dread King helm, then you can replace your body pieces to any sharpness +4 body pieces ( I am using the normal rajang body pieces but also Seltas Mail can do) *Just leave the other Dreadking armor pieces on you, just change the head and body !! For Jwl you need : 1X razor 1 1X weakness exploit That's it !!

people not knowing about the cap trick search 4 a DK +3 triple slot charm to make such a set but this way is easier and btw this is just a changed DK set version 4 weapons with no slots.
This also works with a Status +4/5 ooo charm that you gem with Attack L3 decoration. Just replace the status gems with the bomb gems and you can get one free slot.
Chain Crit Status Set Head: Sword Saint Earring Chest: Shinobi Sky Suit Arms: Shinobi Sky Kote O Waist: Nargacuga Tassets S OOO Legs: Jaggi Shinguards S OO Talisman: Any 3 Slot Talisman Weapon: Any Status weapon with at least one slot Jwls: x2 Chain Jwl 1 X1 Chain Jwl 3 X1 Crit Status Jwl 2 X1 Expert Jwl 3 Skills: Critical Eye+1 Mind's Eye Repeat Offender Status Crit Notes: The Critical Eye Skill on this set can go all the way to +3 depending on your talisman, but for the sake of ease of access I put the easiest one to get. You need at least Expert +4 and 3 slots to get Critical Eye +2 and Expert +9 with 3 slots to get Critical Eye +3. When using an SnS with Affinity Oil or an Insect Glaive with the Speed Bug your weapon affinity can go all the way to 90%. The Princess Rapier has 5% affinity by default giving it a 95% crit chance. Sadly, the DreadQueen SnS (which has 10% necessary for guaranteed crits) has no slots. You can replace Sword Saint Earring with any of the Earrings/Feathers (Hayabusa Feather, anyone?) to get a different skill at the expense of Mind's Eye. I personally had a 3 slot Expert +9 Talisman, so I just went for Mind's Eye instead. EDIT: Fixed some numbers.
Laku Laku La (MhGen) Hello Arekkz, I know that I’m not the guy who told you the original Laku Laku La set from 4U, But I am the creator of the set, I have no idea how he copied but I don’t care (I do tho). This set is not as kind in the slot department but I’d say the design and skills are still worth it. It’s more focused towards Elemental weapons that can hit multiple times, like DB or Charge Blade to name a few. This set is still a work in progress Arekkz so you may see this pop up again, but better modified. Set Detail: Lagiacrus Helm R- +4 Elemental Kushala Cista EX- +2 Guard, +1 Vault, +4 Chain Crit Lagiacrus Braces R- +3 Elemental, +3 Guard Lagiacrus Flauds R- +5 Guard, +3 Elemental Kushala Crus EX- +2 Guard, +3 Chain Crit Once you have made this the skills you will have are: Elemental Atk Up- +10 Guard + 1 - +12 (Can be increased by using the open slots) You’ll also be 3 points off from Repeat Offender. The Talisman I recommend is at least+3 Chain Crit, And if you find Guard up +3 with it that’s great, if you don’t gem it in with the one slot on the set, if you’re lucky like me, get 3 slots on talisman. Correct me if I`m wrong, but everybody has this charm that activates bombardier right away (for me bomb boost +9 and 2 slots) and then it`s status atk+2 and atk up m, where the latter is not that important to me on a sleepbombing playstyle. Why not go for dreadqueen set then, since it gives you status crit and 20% aff for that atk up m.
Hello fellow hunters, HikarW here, and I am about to drop a set on you that will completely overhaul your concept of dominant. Yes, it may require some very hard to get armor pieces and a perfect charm, but I promise you it is one of if not the top mixes in the entire game. Lets get to it shall we? No weapon slots required, although having some can permit you getting by without the very rare charm Helm: Hayabusa Feather (unlocked by completing every non advanced no prowler quest in the solo village, and then completing the request you receive from the argosy captain afterwards.) Mail: Silver Solmail Vambraces: Silver Solbraces Faulds: Vaik S Faulds (its rare 5 and made out of fish if you can't fnd it, you also need to fight cephadrome, for which i deeply apologize, i feel your pain) Greaves: Silver Solgreaves Charm: Sharpness 5 ooo (Look, i know, its not easy to get. But that's the price we pay for glory.) Decorations: A single Razor Jewel 1, a Tenderizer Jewel 3, and 3 crit jewel 1 (sadly a crit jewel 2 doesn't exist for whatever reason) Now, with all the gems put in place, you will have Critical eye +2, which raises your affinity by 20%, Critical Boost, which changes the critical hit from 1.25% to 1.4%, Weakness Exploit, which gives you 50% extra affinity when attacking a monster's weak points, and razor sharp, which halves the rate at which you lose sharpness.That means you will have 70% affinity while atacking weak point which will do even more damage than normal. Pair this with a weapon with high base affinity like seregios or nargacuga weapons, or sns affinity oils, or nrg charge on switch axe, or an insect glaive with the speed kinsect, and you can have some borderline 100% critical hit chance hitting for massive damage. And if you want to try and make this but don't have this perfect god charm, i highly recommend hyper seregios weapons as they have two slots to allow for lesser charms as well as high base affinity for even more insane crit values. Now, if you can manage to do get this entire set, well, have fun obliterating everything in your path while also remaining stylish and sexy. Happy hunting!
here's the thing, you don't go for attack power when doing sleep bombing, in fact lvl 6 dreadqueen armor with a bomb boost talisman and a slotted weapon to gem in bombardier is 20x better than this, especially if you can get a bomb boost +4 dreadqueen +2 triple slot with a hyabusa feather instead is so much better
I have a status +5 OOO talisman, so no thanks. Already got a SA+2, Bludgeoner, Bombardier and Trap Master set. Planning on upgrading once I get the Shinobi Sky armor.
Is attack up on a sleep bombing set really necercary? I mean you do your damage with the bombs and not with your weapon in the first place or does attack up Effect bombs?
i feel you on that. i like ideas of mix sets, but not when a full set can do better. in this case full dreadqueen with a 3 slot tali and same weapon came drop atk up for crit eye, crit status and wide range and still have stat atk up 2 and bombardier
atk up L just makes the hunt go by faster againts mo sters a little more resistant to sleep, it doesn't affect the bombs. plus what is your sleep bomb set (i aaw your other comment)
+I'm just gweeb with dreadqueen using wide range +2 and might seed to buff the whole team i feel is more dps.i haven't quite made one yet. i feel that dread queen is such a good set for a status blade master it can't be competed with (gunner is different imo). especially with status crit and a sns ir glaive using aiffinty oil or the affinity bug for another 30% boost
Man i love that (with the dq set) i can keep a monster poisoned through out almost the entirety of a quest, or always paralyze a monster thats buging me.

Works really well and have fun with it. You will get 261 attack with power charm and power talon with you and 310 defend with also armor charm and armor talon !!!
Hey just thought I would post an armor set for once rather then just keep mine to myself Skills we will be focusing on Critical eye +2 Airborne Stam Recov Up Mounting Master any 5 Gem skill Important!: this armor set can work with a mounting +10 no slot talisman however should you not have anything. A vaulting or talismans with slots can simply substitute for the same charm or should you still have troubles utilizing a weapon with more slots may help you out. Style: Aerial Weapon: Interchangeable Arts: no preference (utility if you will be using traps Ie. mass combiner, shoryugeki) Armor set name: Sultan set Armor run down Hayabusa feather --- Ranger's Girdle oo- Black Belt Bracess --- (or anything with torso up) Ranger's sash --- ranger's Espadrilles o-- Bishop Talisman --- (my personal talisman mounting + 10) Gems: those will be for the 5 gem skill that you prefer. For me I have trap master to help mount monsters and then follow up with traps however you can include skills such as bomb boost for blast weapons or mushroommancer for a plethora of buffs. You will need 3 gems in total and they must be single slot and have 2 points each. Bonus: this set can be played around with a lot and still maintain its original purpose so long as you have a talisman and a weapon that go together well. The original look of this armor was meant to be used with the Treasured Fedda to give your character a regal feel, splash on some white armor pigment and you can look like the sultan of a grand Egyptian empire. If you don't want a 5 gem ability then I suggest attempting to add in critical eye + 3 to boost damage or possibly gemming in a new skill entirely by adding in a better talisman or new weapon with more slots. Closer: overall this armor set is meant to be able to adapt many different weapons while allowing you room to change out skills to suit different weapons you will be using. The mounting and other utilities can help both you and your fellow hunters out. This armor set is originally meant for sword and shield, however feel free to adjust it to a weapon you prefer.
It was made before the armor set was available plus I'm trying to avoid full sets. I may end up revising it at one point but for now it will stay the same
mix sets have the purpose to get skill combinations full sets cant give u. so i think u dont understand how this works if ur mix set can be replaced by a full set now.
Ryuma9789 Derpy Konchu already explained that the difference between these sets is between one skill slot with there being a 5 gem skill in mine and evade distance in the strider armor. now I have yet to see the armor fully constructed so if you want to fully compare them please post it so that I can see it before you claim someone else's set is not a mix set

stylish bombing uses evade+1 or adept style and u place and detonate the bombs around the monster while its awake +u trap it and then lay more bombs etc.with adept or e+1 u can roll through the bombs explosions ofc.u need bombardier,trapmaster and e+1 or adept style to make it work+any other skill u like and can fiddle in as well stylish bombing doesnt use sleep element at all. hope i could clear this.
First off, I love the avatar pic, 666 Satan was a good series. Next up, Canta has a lot of Gunner mixed sets on his Twitter. Also, if you use a HBG with a decent recoil and high raw, you could use my Dead Fox set. Skeletal Skull R, Mizutsune Vest S, Decayed Humerus R, Decayed Hipbone R, Stonefist Leggings and a Furor +4, o--, talisman. With 4 Bubble Jewels and 1 Medicine Jewel, you'd have Resentment, Resuscitate, Bubbly Dance & Rec Speed Down 1. Which equals a manageable Attack Up 40, Evasion +1 and Constitution +1. And with a -6 Rec Speed, ooo, talisman you could get Rec Speed Down 2, which makes Resentment's upkeep even easier.
I understand it's cool to create unique sets with different parts, but DreadQueen set wouldn't be much better? I have it lvl 8 currently. STATUS ATK +2. CRIT. STATUS. AFFINITY +2 AND WIDE RANGE +2. all without the talisman or weapon slots. With the right talisman you can easily add bombardier or atk up or more affinity. Or anything you like.
You right and honestly it sucks. Deviant armors are usually a lot better than any mixed set you could ever create and this kinda kills variety in the game. 95% of the (blademaster) player online are using dreadking set and I can't really blame them, same story for dreadqueen set which by far superior than any other status set you could have, I don't know it is different for gunner, but teostra bow and s. magala set are all over the places. Creating mixed set is the best part of the game imho, but why should I bother if I am less efficient than almost any deviant set?
Actually, I think the Shinobi Sky armor is the best status armor. I made a mix set in Athena's armor set search and made a set with crit eye +3, repeat offender, status Atk +2, and crit status. To get this set, just replace the Shinobi Sky helm with hayabusa feather, 2 slot status weapon, and get a status +5 3 slot talisman and it's done. Dreadqueen is still good but crit status doesn't get that much use when the armor gives low crit
@Rotowsky You are right to a certain degree, but unfortunately you're primarily wrong on mixed sets. In all honesty, only 3 deviant armor sets are worth getting (Silverwind, Dreadqueen, and Dreadking). Literally most mixed sets outperform all deviant armor sets simply because the skills on them are complete garbage. Plus it's such a big deterrent to farm deviant sets because not only are some of the fights complete bullshit, but also upgrading the armor is such a hassle. Mixed sets FTW.
Storge and Arc armors are unlocked by getting certain parts from Shagaru Magala. Note that Storge and Arc are the same armor but are gender exclusive; Storge is for females while Arc is for males.
I made a pretty good mixed set for lancers Spiked Javelin Akantor Mask R EX Rathalos Mail S Akantor Claws R Rathalos Faulds S Akantor Hessian R ----------------- +10 Attack --- ----------------- 5x Tenderizer Jwl 1 1x Fencer Jwl 1 1x Attack Jwl 1 Skills: Mind's Eye Bludgeoner AuM Weakness Exploit I play it Striker style with Absolute Evasion, Absolute Readiness, and Enraged Guard its possible to get in the 400s of attack with this setup (with certain conditions being met) i dont see much lancers online and wanted to show off the one i came up with. Its possible to get AuL in this set with an Attack +10 OOO tala.
This set is pretty nice, but it isn't that great. you could get these skills with the exception of attack M, but with the addition of minds eye and bludgener with Akantor MaskR, AkantorClaws R, and Akantor Hessian R, Chaos Arch plate, Mizuha sash. tailsman, any 3 slot tailsman will do. gems 1 fencing1, 5 bombardier, 3 disabler 2, and 1 disabler 1. Note you will have horrible dragon resistance, also it will look kind of horrible to wear. I recommend that you tint the armor so that it is close to the mizuha sash.
Yes, it is. Rajang dies wonderfully fast if you sleep bomb him to death and it makes getting his Ghoulish Gold Horns so much easier. Even if you fight him normally, when he limps away and goes to sleep and you wake him up with a nice little boom, he usually dies. It may only shove off a few minutes, but it can make a great difference if you're hunting with randoms that are not as experienced at fighting the saiyan monkey.

If u ask me, some of the deviant armors fill the role just nicely. The deviant Nargacuga armor is great on Switch Axe, Lance, or anything that can evade a lot, and the Dreadking Rath armor works well with the likes of Dual Blades n Insect Glaives.
For IG I have a set in mind, but until Hyper Jho is out, isn't obtainable. The only LBG set I have that is makeable as of now, is that much of a mix set really. It's just EX Brachydios with Vaik Coat S, two Thrift 2 jewels, an Artillery +9 oo slot talisman and 3 Artillery Jewels. It gives Bonus Shot, Ammo Saver, Bombardier & Artillery Expert. I only use it with 2 LBG's both in Aerial, Blossomayhem 2 and Tigrex Tank 3. It looks alright, but I know the Brach stuff isn't for everyone(it's also a female character, and Brach stuff tends to look better for them).
+Arhen Dante if u want, I have a super versatile set u may try. It's main niche is that u only need the top half to get some pretty damn awesome skills. Mainly, a slotted weapon with an artillery jewel, a skull visage S, and Seltas torso n arm parts. For blade masters, just the top portion gives razor sharp artillery novice already. In the case of gunners, razor sharp is replaced with ammo saver. This means you can use the remaining parts n your talisman for your last few skills. It's almost not talisman reliant, and the lower body parts are super easy to work with.
Joshua Pineda I did consider such for mixed sets, and I use Seltas Mail and Braces for a few other armor sets, either for the easy Sharpness, Artillery or both. But for that LBG set, it was matter of having Rapid Fire which is ridiculously difficult to get outside that set, and still have decent skills/room for other skills.
Joshua Pineda I was planning on getting all the deviant armors but silverwind carted me with 2 hits and I'm HR 6, I haven't unlocked dreadking yet, and redhelm is the only deviant armor I got and it's lvl 2. I'm definitely going to need help farming the deviants because I haven't even fought g rank monsters that hit that hard lol
You call that an "endgame set"? Thats a real endgame-status set: 2 Weapon Slots Hayabusa Bnahabra Ceanataur S Vaik S Shinobi Sky Charm: Crit Status+4,CritEye+4 OOO Slot in everything and you will get Criteye+3,Status+2,Crit Status, Razor Sharp. And the charm it not even that good
No trap master? why not bludgeoner? it has the same attack boost (15 points) and requires 5 less skill points*and yes I know you didn't want to include bludgeoner again it just makes more sense to have it*. this is a pretty weak set especially for end game, not to sure why you even made a video for it.
trapmaster isnt realy needed since the monster is sleeping and u have all the time u need XD but ofc its a viable skill on such a set. and yes this week was rather weak....
He did it so he could make the Shinobi armor set for the next video. And honestly ur kinda right. Dreadqueen armor already does the job well. If anything, I would've liked it if he added another armor set for us to see.
Another thing I forgot to mention. It's good to use if u didn't grind the deviants yet. And considering how hard it can always be to find someone willing to help u grind, this is good temporarily.

Depends. Certain parts, like Zamtrios ones, can pair pretty well. I'm using a Zamtrios/Ceanataur upper body for my HBG and a Zamtrios/Seltas upper body for my LBG. Their colors mix pretty well. Thanks to Zamtrios' gunner visor having a change-able color, which is great.
Hey Arekkz, could you please describe to me how exactly blast works as far as the damage output it deals on each type of monster. Also, how well it works when compared to the other elements. Does it stack? and how can you tell when it's working? Is it worth using? The weapon I'm thinking about is the Ashen Array. Let me know Thanks!
This mix set is interesting and all...but...
Here's a tip for the most broken status Blademaster set in-game (in my honest opinion):
Upon hunting Dreadqueen Rathian sometimes, you'll eventually get your full set, all your armor pieces to lvl 6, the full set will unlock it's Deviant only compound skill, which in case of Dreadqueen, gives wonderfull Status Up Skills...
Crit. Eye +2
Status Crit
(Dreadqueen compound skill) =
Status Atk +2 and Wide Range +2
Get the Sandman's Swordfin + the ridiculousy overpowered Tenderizer +5/+4 OOO ( Sakura farming for AGES, but worth it).
With the charm in hands, gem in Weakness Exploit, ( if you get the SnS mentioned in the video and the Tenderizer Jewel 3, which has +4 points to Tenderizer and requires 3 empty slots to be gemmed in, it shouldn't pose a problem).
After this, you just have to remember to eat for "Felyne Pyro", which gives you basically the same effects as the Armor Skill "Bombardier".
To top it all off, use Affinity Oil, which gives you 30% affinity bonus for 2 minutes...
This gives roughly 100% affinity ( during the Affinity Oil's duration, and if you hit monsters on their weakspots), crazy sleep bombing runs and just other BROKEN TO F*CK if you use Adept + the Hunter Art, "Sword Dance".

The set require Full House to work effectively, and is best paired with Striker due to being able to equip both Absolute Readiness and Absolute Evasion
Charm needed is a Recoil +5 OOO, but other versions can be made with other recoil charms.
This set focuses on the mass amount of Crag and clust shots the Lost Musket can fire in rapid succession due to Full House and Recoil Down +3, being able to knock out monsters and do large amounts of fixed damage. It also has access to Cannon, Triblast and Flash, making it useful for monsters like Rathalos.
One Downside to the set is it relies on bringing alot of materials to make more Crag and Clust shots, but with a bit of switching around the combo list preferences, it can be very deadly, especially against monsters that may have low damage hitzones (Silver and Gold raths)

I use IG (All three Status Branches) with this set and have a lot of fun with it. The Max DEF (536) is decent and I like the look of the set, except the Legs don't change color so it does look off. As is, the 6 open slots (take out Bombardier) you can use any jewel that gives +2 in a single slot. If you use a weapon with slots, the set opens up to almost any additional skill. You can also use any 3 slot charm with a decent skill and add in another Destroyer Jewel 3.
The nice thing about this set, is that its rather easy to make if you have been using your Meownster Hunters and Neko. The hardest thing to get was the Trunkspine.
This is a set if you just want to pump out DPS. It's a relatively good set for most blademaster weapons, even if it was a pain to make. It goes like this:

Hermitaur Mail R 000 (1 Tenderizer level 3 jewel)
Arc Braces R
Kushala Cocoon R 0 (1 Tenderizer level 1 jewel)
EX Hermitaur Greaves

This gets you, without any weapon slots, Sharpness+1, Critical Eye+3 and weakness exploit. You could theoretically get Sharpness+2 if you had a good talisman, or when the hyper Jho comes out, and you could use some of his armour. I got lucky, and got an expert+8, fencing+2, 3 slot charm, so you can slip down to Critical Eye+2, if you don't have a God talon. Just use an 3 slot charm, or a charm related to one of the skills, and change gems around accordingly.
Here's another mixed set for ya! This one features Gun Lance!
Weapon: Green Sharpness with 2 slots

I use this set with the Spiked glory hammer with 220 raw and 15% affinity that stacks on top, and with sharpness +2 it get a nice amount of white sharpness.
If you are lucky enough to get a Tenderizer +5 attack +8/9 OOO charm you can gem in attack up small on top since there are 2 free slot in the set

this mixed set is one that i use alot for greatsword, but you need a suuuuuuper specific talisman so its not all that good but, you can make this at hr7: its a combination of the seregios helm, urugaan mail, tetsu arms, high metal U waist armor, and mosgharl legs with a focus +5 OOO. this armor set does not use any weapon slots and if you gem in the right skills you get crit draw, punish draw and focus.

I found a descent greatsword set. It gives razor sharp, crit draw, and focus. Just use the Black Head S, Damascus Mail, Divine Ire Kote, Vaik Flauds, Divine Ire Hakama, and any talisman able to get +5 to Crit Draw. An end game set, yes, but a nice one that works well with all greatswords.

This is the set I use when I want to hunt kushala daora, gust like in 4u where you used the rusty daora lbg to deal dragon damage to kushala (and kill in seconds if used proportion) this set does the same. The savage Jho lbg can load 3 dragon lv1 shells(max that you can carry) and the dragon shells are on rapid 3, meaning that you shoot 3 shots pure dragon shel, so if you use bonus shot your adding a bother shot fired, bringing it from 3 shots to 4 shots, the dragon attack +2 and elemental attack up are here so that we can deal even more dragon damage.

These 2 sets give critical eye +3, pierce up, and repeat offender, seeing how both of the lbg have 40% affinity, so with crit eye +3 it goes up to 70%, and repeat offender will raise it up to 100%
This is gust a fun set that I made (I made doth XD) and this is the first mix set that I have seen use varient armour pieces in it.
The name that I've given to tha Jho lbg set is: Dragon king (or queen if your the female character), I haven't given the second set a name yet, so if it is used please give it a name.
Hopefully the second set is eye catching because of the varient armour in it. It was a bit of a pain to get but so worth it
Hey Arekks. Here's my Adaptoid set. I call it that cuz u can swap out the legs n waist along with ur talisman to change ur skills. It also works well with any slotted weapon so it's very versatile with Gunlances, Charge Blades, or any gun that has crag shots cuz u can get either artillery novice or expert depending on how u get the 5 extra points n razor sharp.

The head, torso, n the arms along with the artillery decoration in the weapon provide razor sharp and artillery novice. The waist n legs I have can rookie guard boost and maybe even guard +1 if u got a double slotted talisman with 6 skill points for guard (which is possible, just do lots of Sakura runs)
The main gimmick about my set is that u can change certain parts and still keep the core skills. Gunners get ammo saver too but I recommend using the ones with crag shot cuz of artillery. Anyway, u can change the set however u want so long as u have a torso up part, and the Seltas arms and torso parts. For example, u can use the chrome metal waist which has torso up and use that instead of the skull S to add those sweet barrage n sword n Saint earring. The waist, legs, and talisman can all be well mixed with the armor. In other words, this set literally allows for huge amounts of versatility by making the talismans n other armor pieces work with 3 main core parts and a decoration. This set is for all u guys who have $#!+ luck like me and I hope u enjoy this versatile Adaptoid set of mine.

I like to use it with the Tigrex CB, the colours match wonderfully and it has a slot + awesome raw power. If you've got a better talisman you may be able to get even more skills on it like Crit eye +3, Earplugs or Speed setup. I'm using Perception +8 so I don't have to use a weapon with a slot.

Struxion Demolisher also has long Green when you eat through the small blue sharpness pretty quickly giving the set essentially +35 true attack when the monster is enraged (which happens easily when using 15 bombs!)
nice set. i doubt many r familiar with stylish bombing but who the hell needs sleep when having such a set XD

Use everything RisingFunGaming uses, except the helmet. (I'm using my Akantor R blademaster helm just for the lols).

I wouldnt say "most important", but yes it certainly is one of the main skills a Teostra bow user should have.
Just my opinion though. I prefer having Ammo Saver more than Load Up, since Ammo Saver gives you additional running time with the bow's 90 coating-boosted shots.
I'm also lacking the Barrage Piercing at the moment, so I'll put priority to what I can fully utilise. for the time being.

When you know you gonna fight a monster with a small roar, I'll suggest a simple mix set that comes from dreadking set ( from Dread King Rathalos)
You will get the following skill,

Dreadking soul ( attack up L,Wind resistance Hi)
*Need to have at least a talisman with sharpness 5, 2 slots to make it works
Use a GUNNER dread King helm, then you can replace your body pieces to any sharpness +4 body pieces ( I am using the normal rajang body pieces but also Seltas Mail can do)
*Just leave the other Dreadking armor pieces on you, just change the head and body !!
For Jwl you need :
1X razor 1
1X weakness exploit
That's it !!

The Critical Eye Skill on this set can go all the way to +3 depending on your talisman, but for the sake of ease of access I put the easiest one to get. You need at least Expert +4 and 3 slots to get Critical Eye +2 and Expert +9 with 3 slots to get Critical Eye +3.
When using an SnS with Affinity Oil or an Insect Glaive with the Speed Bug your weapon affinity can go all the way to 90%. The Princess Rapier has 5% affinity by default giving it a 95% crit chance. Sadly, the DreadQueen SnS (which has 10% necessary for guaranteed crits) has no slots.
You can replace Sword Saint Earring with any of the Earrings/Feathers (Hayabusa Feather, anyone?) to get a different skill at the expense of Mind's Eye. I personally had a 3 slot Expert +9 Talisman, so I just went for Mind's Eye instead.

Hello Arekkz, I know that I’m not the guy who told you the
original Laku Laku La set from 4U, But I am the creator of the set, I have no
idea how he copied but I don’t care (I do tho). This set is not as kind in the
slot department but I’d say the design and skills are still worth it. It’s more
focused towards Elemental weapons that can hit multiple times, like DB or
Charge Blade to name a few. This set is still a work in progress Arekkz so you
may see this pop up again, but better modified.

Correct me if I`m wrong, but everybody has this charm that activates bombardier right away (for me bomb boost +9 and 2 slots) and then it`s status atk+2 and atk up m, where the latter is not that important to me on a sleepbombing playstyle. Why not go for dreadqueen set then, since it gives you status crit and 20% aff for that atk up m.
Hello fellow hunters, HikarW here, and I am about to drop a set on you that will completely overhaul your concept of dominant. Yes, it may require some very hard to get armor pieces and a perfect charm, but I promise you it is one of if not the top mixes in the entire game. Lets get to it shall we?
No weapon slots required, although having some can permit you getting by without the very rare charm
Helm: Hayabusa Feather (unlocked by completing every non advanced no prowler quest in the solo village, and then completing the request you receive from the argosy captain afterwards.)
Mail: Silver Solmail
Vambraces: Silver Solbraces
Faulds: Vaik S Faulds (its rare 5 and made out of fish if you can't fnd it, you also need to fight cephadrome, for which i deeply apologize, i feel your pain)
Greaves: Silver Solgreaves
Charm: Sharpness 5 ooo (Look, i know, its not easy to get. But that's the price we pay for glory.)
Decorations: A single Razor Jewel 1, a Tenderizer Jewel 3, and 3 crit jewel 1 (sadly a crit jewel 2 doesn't exist for whatever reason)
Now, with all the gems put in place, you will have Critical eye +2, which raises your affinity by 20%, Critical Boost, which changes the critical hit from 1.25% to 1.4%, Weakness Exploit, which gives you 50% extra affinity when attacking a monster's weak points, and razor sharp, which halves the rate at which you lose sharpness.That means you will have 70% affinity while atacking weak point which will do even more damage than normal. Pair this with a weapon with high base affinity like seregios or nargacuga weapons, or sns affinity oils, or nrg charge on switch axe, or an insect glaive with the speed kinsect, and you can have some borderline 100% critical hit chance hitting for massive damage. And if you want to try and make this but don't have this perfect god charm, i highly recommend hyper seregios weapons as they have two slots to allow for lesser charms as well as high base affinity for even more insane crit values.
Now, if you can manage to do get this entire set, well, have fun obliterating everything in your path while also remaining stylish and sexy. Happy hunting!

here's the thing, you don't go for attack power when doing sleep bombing, in fact lvl 6 dreadqueen armor with a bomb boost talisman and a slotted weapon to gem in bombardier is 20x better than this, especially if you can get a bomb boost +4 dreadqueen +2 triple slot with a hyabusa feather instead is so much better

Is attack up on a sleep bombing set really necercary? I mean you do your damage with the bombs and not with your weapon in the first place or does attack up Effect bombs?

i feel you on that. i like ideas of mix sets, but not when a full set can do better. in this case full dreadqueen with a 3 slot tali and same weapon came drop atk up for crit eye, crit status and wide range and still have stat atk up 2 and bombardier
atk up L just makes the hunt go by faster againts mo sters a little more resistant to sleep, it doesn't affect the bombs.

+I'm just gweeb with dreadqueen using wide range +2 and might seed to buff the whole team i feel is more dps.i haven't quite made one yet. i feel that dread queen is such a good set for a status blade master it can't be competed with (gunner is different imo). especially with status crit and a sns ir glaive using aiffinty oil or the affinity bug for another 30% boost

Important!: this armor set can work with a mounting +10 no slot talisman however should you not have anything. A vaulting or talismans with slots can simply substitute for the same charm or should you still have troubles utilizing a weapon with more slots may help you out.

Arts: no preference (utility if you will be using traps Ie. mass combiner, shoryugeki)

Gems: those will be for the 5 gem skill that you prefer. For me I have trap master to help mount monsters and then follow up with traps however you can include skills such as bomb boost for blast weapons or mushroommancer for a plethora of buffs. You will need 3 gems in total and they must be single slot and have 2 points each.
Bonus: this set can be played around with a lot and still maintain its original purpose so long as you have a talisman and a weapon that go together well. The original look of this armor was meant to be used with the Treasured Fedda to give your character a regal feel, splash on some white armor pigment and you can look like the sultan of a grand Egyptian empire. If you don't want a 5 gem ability then I suggest attempting to add in critical eye + 3 to boost damage or possibly gemming in a new skill entirely by adding in a better talisman or new weapon with more slots.
Closer: overall this armor set is meant to be able to adapt many different weapons while allowing you room to change out skills to suit different weapons you will be using. The mounting and other utilities can help both you and your fellow hunters out. This armor set is originally meant for sword and shield, however feel free to adjust it to a weapon you prefer.
The set can kind of be replicated with full strider armour and hayabusa feather but uses evade dist up instead of a 5 gem skill
It was made before the armor set was available plus I'm trying to avoid full sets. I may end up revising it at one point but for now it will stay the same
mix sets have the purpose to get skill combinations full sets cant give u. so i think u dont understand how this works if ur mix set can be replaced by a full set now.

Derpy Konchu already explained that the difference between these sets is between one skill slot with there being a 5 gem skill in mine and evade distance in the strider armor. now I have yet to see the armor fully constructed so if you want to fully compare them please post it so that I can see it before you claim someone else's set is not a mix set

I recommend to use this with sandman finsword and deathprize. also please use affinity oil with this set to get to 90% affinity. felyne specialist with status +1 will get you to the cap. felyne specialist with status +2 will do the same. both me and a friend made this set by hand.
the set is great but its pretty easy to just swap 1 piece out of a full set lol
I'm gonna try to build a similar set that uses Speed Setup instead of Attack Up. Will let you know if it works better (for multiplayer that is)

i too, felt that the featured set was a bit lacking for my sleep bombing needs. so i went ahead & asked athena - in all her wisdom - to help me & she said that the same armor set can be used & still get the same skill set even with a status +5 000. it's all in the placing of the gems:
1x Disabler Jwl 2 (in Torso)
1x Bombardier Jwl 1 (in Torso)
5x Trapmaster Jwl 1
3x Bombardier Jwl 1
This set also has the added effect of looking REALLY good on girl hunters.

I am quite sure that sleep bombing and stylish bombing are tow different things
stylish bombing uses evade+1 or adept style and u place and detonate the bombs around the monster while its awake +u trap it and then lay more bombs etc.with adept or e+1 u can roll through the bombs explosions ofc.u need bombardier,trapmaster and e+1 or adept style to make it work+any other skill u like and can fiddle in as well stylish bombing doesnt use sleep element at all. hope i could clear this.

What I mean is none of the gunner sets we are posting are used, It's been blademaster all the way thru.
First off, I love the avatar pic, 666 Satan was a good series. Next up, Canta has a lot of Gunner mixed sets on his Twitter. Also, if you use a HBG with a decent recoil and high raw, you could use my Dead Fox set. Skeletal Skull R, Mizutsune Vest S, Decayed Humerus R, Decayed Hipbone R, Stonefist Leggings and a Furor +4, o--, talisman. With 4 Bubble Jewels and 1 Medicine Jewel, you'd have Resentment, Resuscitate, Bubbly Dance & Rec Speed Down 1. Which equals a manageable Attack Up 40, Evasion +1 and Constitution +1. And with a -6 Rec Speed, ooo, talisman you could get Rec Speed Down 2, which makes Resentment's upkeep even easier.
I understand it's cool to create unique sets with different parts, but DreadQueen set wouldn't be much better? I have it lvl 8 currently. STATUS ATK +2. CRIT. STATUS. AFFINITY +2 AND WIDE RANGE +2. all without the talisman or weapon slots. With the right talisman you can easily add bombardier or atk up or more affinity. Or anything you like.
You right and honestly it sucks. Deviant armors are usually a lot better than any mixed set you could ever create and this kinda kills variety in the game. 95% of the (blademaster) player online are using dreadking set and I can't really blame them, same story for dreadqueen set which by far superior than any other status set you could have, I don't know it is different for gunner, but teostra bow and s. magala set are all over the places.
Creating mixed set is the best part of the game imho, but why should I bother if I am less efficient than almost any deviant set?

Actually, I think the Shinobi Sky armor is the best status armor. I made a mix set in Athena's armor set search and made a set with crit eye +3, repeat offender, status Atk +2, and crit status. To get this set, just replace the Shinobi Sky helm with hayabusa feather, 2 slot status weapon, and get a status +5 3 slot talisman and it's done. Dreadqueen is still good but crit status doesn't get that much use when the armor gives low crit
@Rotowsky You are right to a certain degree, but unfortunately you're primarily wrong on mixed sets. In all honesty, only 3 deviant armor sets are worth getting (Silverwind, Dreadqueen, and Dreadking). Literally most mixed sets outperform all deviant armor sets simply because the skills on them are complete garbage. Plus it's such a big deterrent to farm deviant sets because not only are some of the fights complete bullshit, but also upgrading the armor is such a hassle. Mixed sets FTW.

Storge and Arc armors are unlocked by getting certain parts from Shagaru Magala. Note that Storge and Arc are the same armor but are gender exclusive; Storge is for females while Arc is for males.

i dont see much lancers online and wanted to show off the one i came up with. Its possible to get AuL in this set with an Attack +10 OOO tala.
This set is pretty nice, but it isn't that great. you could get these skills with the exception of attack M, but with the addition of minds eye and bludgener with Akantor MaskR, AkantorClaws R, and Akantor Hessian R, Chaos Arch plate, Mizuha sash. tailsman, any 3 slot tailsman will do. gems 1 fencing1, 5 bombardier, 3 disabler 2, and 1 disabler 1. Note you will have horrible dragon resistance, also it will look kind of horrible to wear. I recommend that you tint the armor so that it is close to the mizuha sash.
This is that good of a set, attack up large with status? It already has super low attack, why not go for status crit and maybe heybusa feather

Is sleep bombing even viable anymore?
Yes, it is. Rajang dies wonderfully fast if you sleep bomb him to death and it makes getting his Ghoulish Gold Horns so much easier. Even if you fight him normally, when he limps away and goes to sleep and you wake him up with a nice little boom, he usually dies. It may only shove off a few minutes, but it can make a great difference if you're hunting with randoms that are not as experienced at fighting the saiyan monkey.

If u ask me, some of the deviant armors fill the role just nicely. The deviant Nargacuga armor is great on Switch Axe, Lance, or anything that can evade a lot, and the Dreadking Rath armor works well with the likes of Dual Blades n Insect Glaives.
For IG I have a set in mind, but until Hyper Jho is out, isn't obtainable. The only LBG set I have that is makeable as of now, is that much of a mix set really. It's just EX Brachydios with Vaik Coat S, two Thrift 2 jewels, an Artillery +9 oo slot talisman and 3 Artillery Jewels. It gives Bonus Shot, Ammo Saver, Bombardier & Artillery Expert. I only use it with 2 LBG's both in Aerial, Blossomayhem 2 and Tigrex Tank 3. It looks alright, but I know the Brach stuff isn't for everyone(it's also a female character, and Brach stuff tends to look better for them).
+Arhen Dante if u want, I have a super versatile set u may try. It's main niche is that u only need the top half to get some pretty damn awesome skills. Mainly, a slotted weapon with an artillery jewel, a skull visage S, and Seltas torso n arm parts. For blade masters, just the top portion gives razor sharp artillery novice already. In the case of gunners, razor sharp is replaced with ammo saver. This means you can use the remaining parts n your talisman for your last few skills. It's almost not talisman reliant, and the lower body parts are super easy to work with.
Joshua Pineda I did consider such for mixed sets, and I use Seltas Mail and Braces for a few other armor sets, either for the easy Sharpness, Artillery or both. But for that LBG set, it was matter of having Rapid Fire which is ridiculously difficult to get outside that set, and still have decent skills/room for other skills.
Joshua Pineda I was planning on getting all the deviant armors but silverwind carted me with 2 hits and I'm HR 6, I haven't unlocked dreadking yet, and redhelm is the only deviant armor I got and it's lvl 2. I'm definitely going to need help farming the deviants because I haven't even fought g rank monsters that hit that hard lol

No trap master? why not bludgeoner? it has the same attack boost (15 points) and requires 5 less skill points*and yes I know you didn't want to include bludgeoner again it just makes more sense to have it*. this is a pretty weak set especially for end game, not to sure why you even made a video for it.
trapmaster isnt realy needed since the monster is sleeping and u have all the time u need XD but ofc its a viable skill on such a set. and yes this week was rather weak....
He did it so he could make the Shinobi armor set for the next video. And honestly ur kinda right. Dreadqueen armor already does the job well. If anything, I would've liked it if he added another armor set for us to see.
Another thing I forgot to mention. It's good to use if u didn't grind the deviants yet. And considering how hard it can always be to find someone willing to help u grind, this is good temporarily.

Certain parts, like Zamtrios ones, can pair pretty well. I'm using a Zamtrios/Ceanataur upper body for my HBG and a Zamtrios/Seltas upper body for my LBG.
Their colors mix pretty well. Thanks to Zamtrios' gunner visor having a change-able color, which is great.
Hey Arekkz, could you please describe to me how exactly blast works as far as the damage output it deals on each type of monster. Also, how well it works when compared to the other elements. Does it stack? and how can you tell when it's working? Is it worth using? The weapon I'm thinking about is the Ashen Array. Let me know Thanks!
