I went with the family on the 30th of December 2021. We did both flyover Vegas and flyover Iceland @ the Vegas location. The ride was AMAZING!!!! Best ride I’ve ever been on!

Hi Cap! I agree with you about the Disney versions. This attraction opened in September of 2021, so it’s relatively new, and a more updated version (technologically) than Disneys.

I go for the Golden Knights games and this year, God willing coming in February for the NHL All Star Weekend. This is another thing to add to my list of things to do. In all honesty, it’s been so long since I did this, but I think it was between 8-10 minutes, and depending on how busy it is, you can pick the row and seat, again that’s based on capacity. Thank you for taking the time to watch and comment.
I paid Full-price, assuming they didn’t have a Locals’ Discount since it doesn’t display on their web-site. It wasn’t until I arrived at the Ticket Counter did I find out. Anyway, I would pay for the experience, again. I enjoyed it more than putting $60 in Planet Moolah, playing for 10 minutes and not getting a Bonus 😁
I went on the ride in Vancouver a few years ago. It was Fly over China and I believe Canada at the time. Best ride I ever been on. I rode it twice. The ride over Vegas sounds awesome, looking at all the lights from above. The ride I went on also had gusts of wind and even smells so I assume the same here.
Oh wow @Ffollies! Fly Over China and Canada sounds really interesting and fun. Yes, they do have wind gusts, mist, and inject “scents” throughout the experience, but wearing a mask reduces the smell. Thanks for watching and commenting.

Serious questions: has anyone with a fear of heights done this? If so, how was it? I had a hard time getting on a plane and would like to do this, but afraid of having an anxiety attack. Any insight is appreciated

She does not like this ride, even though she knows she's strapped in and maybe 10 to 15 feet off the ground. She pushes herself hard against the seat. However, my girlfriend has NO fear of flying. I'm going to Pin your Comment so others will see it and hopefully kindly respond.

@Monique Alston Her fear stems from anything with heights and where you are not enclosed, such as inside an airplane cabin. Especially if her feet are not touching the ground. She also, dislikes Ferris Wheels, Roller Coasters and the Tower of Terror ride at Disney. Acceleration and Dips, she is good, as long as it's on the ground.I hope that helps.
It's really not that bad there are maybe 3 medium dips, but you are distracted by the sights honestly. You're not too high and being with other people helps to remind yourself that you're safe. It's too beautiful of an experience not to go

Yes, your seat (the entire row) is lifted up in the air. You are strapped in with a Lap belt restraint, but if you have a fear of heights, you may want to skip it. It really depends on your tolerance for heights.

No idea, and I didn’t ask. I’ve always wanted to travel to Iceland, while I’ve been to Canada/Montreal before. Aside from the Wild West experience, which other experience would you choose? Canada? or Iceland?
They chose Iceland as our second experience because we're in a dessert. We have The Real Wild West and then the polar opposite of Iceland. It's to give you that escape from the desert! The film came from our other location that's in Iceland!
Hi KV Cakes, the actual ride portion, strapped in, is about 8 minutes and the total time from queuing up until the end of the ride is about 25 - 30 minutes
This ride is a simulator-style and moves forward and back, up and down and side to side smoothly. It’s not jarring like a rollercoaster. There were several kids on the ride, they looked to be between 8 years-old and up. There’s also a height restriction, Riders must be 40 inches or taller. I hope that helps.
Yes, as of the video, the Local's Discount for Adult Admission is $24, instead of $34, but you have to go to FlyOver Las Vegas to purchase your Ticket on-site.

It's really not that bad there are maybe 3 medium dips, but you are distracted by the sights honestly. You're not too high and being with other people helps to remind yourself that you're safe. It's too beautiful of an experience not to go

Yes, your seat (the entire row) is lifted up in the air. You are strapped in with a Lap belt restraint, but if you have a fear of heights, you may want to skip it. It really depends on your tolerance for heights.

My girlfriend won’t go on it, she has a fear of heights. For her it’s not the actual height, but more of the openness and her feet swinging.

Any idea why they chose Iceland for the second experience?
No idea, and I didn’t ask. I’ve always wanted to travel to Iceland, while I’ve been to Canada/Montreal before. Aside from the Wild West experience, which other experience would you choose? Canada? or Iceland?
They chose Iceland as our second experience because we're in a dessert. We have The Real Wild West and then the polar opposite of Iceland. It's to give you that escape from the desert! The film came from our other location that's in Iceland!

Hi KV Cakes, the actual ride portion, strapped in, is about 8 minutes and the total time from queuing up until the end of the ride is about 25 - 30 minutes

Is it slow ride? Will kids get scared?
This ride is a simulator-style and moves forward and back, up and down and side to side smoothly. It’s not jarring like a rollercoaster. There were several kids on the ride, they looked to be between 8 years-old and up. There’s also a height restriction, Riders must be 40 inches or taller. I hope that helps.

Yes, as of the video, the Local's Discount for Adult Admission is $24, instead of $34, but you have to go to FlyOver Las Vegas to purchase your Ticket on-site.
