- Minister K Shanmugam defended Nee Soon Town Council’s handling of the kickback scandal, citing its role in reporting the matter. However, opposition leaders questioned why the six-year abuse involving over S$396,000 in kickbacks went undetected. They are calling for independent audits and stronger whistleblower protections.

When the WP defend themselves on the Aljuined GRC town council fund mishandling, they and their bootlickers and supporters laughed and criticize at WP. And at the end of the day, they can't find any fault or corruption case against the WP on the fund mishandling case.
Question is, why should we listen and believe in his crap explanation now. His Nee Soon GRC town council should be held accountable for the kickback scandal, afterall this kickback had happened for the past 6 years without anyone noticing it either from the Nee Soon town council people or the GRC members, isn't that a bullshit.

This operations manager only punished with a stay in C. resort for 24 weeks, so lenient. He should extend his stay to at least 24 months.

The offender Derrick Ho, formerly the operations mgr, collected the kickbacks from 2014 to 2020. During those 6 years, could he have also collected kickbacks from foreign cleaning workers of the other constituencies? Did MOM or any MP look into whether more foreign workers were his victims?
