I just bought this frig, but the 20cu ft one. Had a 18cu ft one for 20 years. Never had any issues with frigdiare brand refrigerators. Very reliable. Like you, Im not into the bells and whistles either. I also bought the energy star model. It was $750.00. Bought it from local mom and pop store too. Much more personilized service 😊 chose the white as well 👍. Saw your video after I purchased my frig. Go figure. Anyway, since we are 4 years later, hope you are still enjoying your frigdiare ~

Frigidaire has ice maker accessories for top freezer models that you can install, I think it attaches to the little panel inside once you remove a few screws.
Researched frigerators for a month,and for this size...it was the best one i came across,and frigidaire IS the top selling brand,and best reputation out there. LG and Samsung just cant compete pricewise with this legendary name. I got it for 527.00,origionally 680.00. I did good!!

I just purchased the ffht1425v model. I notice there is no "grill" on the bottom back of the refer. I noticed in the store that all the smaller refers (all brands) seem to not have a bottom grill on the back of the refer. Yet all the bigger models do have a bottom grill to cover components. I asked the salesman and he said the refer WOULD have a grill when delivered. So, it turns out, it does NOT have a bottom grill to cover components. What do you think? Is the refer supposed to have a grill to cover components ?

I'm placing a fridge with the hinge side very close (1/2") to the kitchen wall. That's all the room I have with a 28" wide fridge. I'm also restricted to 64" height. I'm wondering with your Frigidaire if the doors are opened to 90 degrees of the fridge if the doors remain flush to the side of fridge cabinet??? Thanks

The doors don't remain flush to the side when opened, I wouldn't risk it with only a half inch to play with.
