I'm in Aus and have just ordered the Giga on pre order. This content gives me confidence I've made the right decision. I have been 3D scanning things and keen to print them out big. Great content cheers.
It's not a bad price for the build area. If I needed it for business, it would definitely be among my few top choices. Maybe two of them to be on the safe side.
I have a giga and the two things I would love are auto bed levelling and AI failure detection. It really is a niche printer and currently I am working with ASA on it..
After "thought bubbling" the "squatting hottie" as potential large-format print subjects, you should nickname the Giga printer, "Quagmire".... 'cuz, "Giga"-diddy!
Its great to know you can think, make decisions for yourself and take educated risks. The amount of garbage I heard on reddit and the internet about my K2 was VERY scary, because I knew nothing about 3d printing but it turned out to be a great printer, and when I got it was cheaper than the X1C, not now. The giga is okay considering the size and price. Most people expect way too much at this price range, they aren't inclined to figure anything out and expect customer service to do it all for them. I like the upgradebility nature of it, with the ability to print in different materials which not many printers can do.
@ It’s purely want. 🤣 I’m new to it all, bought a few X1 Carbons during their Christmas sale, now I’m hooked. Just not sure about the learning curve of a non-Bambu printer that doesn’t hold my hand at every step.
Is there a machine (like a wood chipper) that would chop up messed up prints or bad ideas, melt down the plastic and spit it back out spooled up to use again?
do you have to "heat soak" it before starting a print? I have a kobra 2 max size printer and its a must to get a level bed. pretty much gotta wait 30 mins after the print bed is to temperature before laying down the first layer
Giga wouldn't fit my space lol. My space is 5x11 feet. my whole studio, 2 Bambu. computer, desk. hairbrush booth.... if I get any more printers I will have to mount them off the ceiling.
I am glad your giga worked well. I am still waiting to hear about the flash forge i have the adventurer 5m non pro. its a bit quirky. i have issues with support removal and am wondering how its going for you? i have 11 printers. i normally only run 3 to 4 at a time as i print to order most of the time and not print to stock. and now its january and sales have slumped as they always do.

Great down-to-earth review

Excuse me. That's not some random squatting hottie. That's Jennie from BP and I expect everyone to know this

I've decided not to buy a GIGA, i'm just going to buy 10kg rolls of filament and throw it in the ocean - saves time and electricity 🤣
BRUTAL EFFICIENCY!
I’ve been seriously considering buying one, if I pull the trigger, I will absolutely use your link.
Many thanks, just hope you get what you want/need.

Never done that and haven't really encountered issues from not!

My coworker is selling his never opened giga with 4 print heads etc. He isn't going to put the time into it.
I'll give $50 because shipping it will cost a LOT
