@@Mars-kc2ed omg yes the shiny cover was just so good! , the exo cover was a pre debut dance cover when they were preparing to debut in their reality show, they were given 24h to choose a popular song, learn half of the choreography and Create the other half By themselves, and they did well ( actually didn't sleep that night preparing) so they were given a chance to film it,so put this on your mind when you're watching it❤

my fav covers are the ones they make, i love that they not only make a "cover", they give it their own style and sometimes it seems like it was a song of their own rather than a cover (Hong covers for example), or BS&T in MAMA, since that day i cant listen to the original in the same way bc i like the rhythm of the cover and 😭hahaha but obviously nothing compares to the original, let's hope more covers of these babies! I love it, i really enjoyed this video💖 i love i need u, it's my favorite BTS song😭
to me it depends, I like hearing covers that are spiced up by the sound of the artist who is covering the song, but also if they can follow the original track and sound GREAT while doing then it’s really impressive tbh

Oh yeah, Yeosang definitely got to shine in this song. Tbh he always looks like a fairy so he fits those brighter and softer concepts a lot, I think even more than the dark concepts~
I totally understand how you feel, ateez made me like music styles I've never liked before i was was so confused, but the way They do it is just different, i guess it's the ATEEZ's flavor.
Yk sometimes the song itself can be cute and I can like it a lot and listen to it, but the styling and concept makes it difficult for me to enjoy it fully if I watch the MV or live stages, idk why. I think it’s also the case with BWL. But for real it was much better than I expected and I actually was able to enjoy it 😂

Honestly, before ateez covered bwl, atiny twt were expecting sth else too. Like we're thought they were gonna covered svt or monsta x or sth similar to them at tht time. Plus, many of us expected tht txt will covered bwl at tht time bcs they are their hoobaes but it turn wrong and honestly, we're so shocked tht ateez covered bwl. But I'm loving the cover so much tho 💟💟💟
Yeah I would expect TXT to cover bwl and definitely would expect some Monsta X vibe from ATEEZ~ but tbh although in surprised I think they really did an amaaaaaazing job.

The thing that made these covers great is, again, the live vocals. A lot of groups straight up lipsync-ing (not even using MR) when they cover another artists song. I dont know the reason behind it but maybe they did it to keep the original song’s quality? Does that make sense? Please enlighten me. I’m not that deep into kpop. But again by ateez covering the song with live vocal (not so much in I need U), they gave more flavor even with minimal re-arrangements.
I think the lip syncing with covers often happens because the group that is covering wants to mimic the way the original vocals sounded and it’s difficult to also do it live (compared to recording it at a studio as many times as you need to get that “original” sound) and also because often they focus more on covering the choreography itself, and the vocals are just added to make it look like a full cover instead of a dance cover, especially if it’s a live performance (I mean music shows, festivals etc) so I think some groups just add vocals but they’re just there as a bonus, not a main point of the cover (which is most often the choreography)~ but there definitely are groups who also cover the full choreo+vocals well, it’s not like ATEEZ is the only one 😂
Mars of course yeah ateez is not the only group that’s why I said ‘a lot of groups’ instead of ‘all groups’. Maybe they are even less groups who lipsync than live sing and that’s okay, I can appreciate some good dancing too. But it bugs me when I saw the comment section and people were praising them for “eating the cd”. Yeah duh~ 😅
