You def pointed me to the right place. Appreciate the video you made and saved me on their crazy labor charge, only $20-$30 for the parts.
Thanks for the video. Other videos had me taking off the side panel and removing the glove box. This took about 5 minutes. The worst part was replacing the cover. Thanks!
Great and simple tutorial!! I was under the impression that I would have to take entire glovebox off to install the cabin air filter...glad that wasn't the case. It was still a little tricky but your video made it easy. Installed in 2min. Beats spending $100+ at the dealership (rip off). Thanks!
My dealer ( Mossy Infiniti in San Diego) wanted to charge $370 ( plus Tax) for Air filter and Cabin filter replacement and Refil brake fluid ...I did it myself for $35 in less than 15 min. Saved almost $350 😊 Its very easy, just follow the video
About to do mine now...I was getting mentally prepared to have to remove glove box, etc but I'm glad I found your video. I'll let you know how it goes..

You can definitely spray fome deodorizer on the filter before installing it. You can also spray deodorizer in the vents on the outside of the car by the bottom of windshield where the air enters the cabin.
I just followed your tutorial and did it. Have to admit it takes more than 2 minutes LOL. Most of the time spent was to 1) take the old filer out (5 mins), and 2) insert the plastic thing back (7 mins) since I have no reference where the top end goes; so mostly just shoot in the dark. Watched the video twice during the installation. So everything takes about 15 mins total. My right arm and shoulder do feel it though. This is not a smart design at all. I hope they changed it in the 2022 model.
Same exact engine, transmission, and entire drivetrain. Built on the exact frame. Exterior body panels have slight differences, and the interior is completely different. The infiniti is the luxury version. So by interchangeable parts, layout, and blueprint of the car.....THEY ARE THE SAME CAR built in the same exact place with only a facelift and different badge. You only payed more to have an infiniti badge and better interior. Everything eles is the same
