Earl Hammond, the star of tonight's story, was heard in 279 episodes of CBS Radio Mystery Theater. He was also heard in dozens of radio programs in the 1950's. Earl Hammond died in 2002 at age 80.
Checking in from Southwest Colorado. We’re under a freeze warning. Had a bear in our yard and saw a large red fox on our walk during the day. Good night all.
@@jennm7012 Biggest thing I came across here in Canada was a two-foot high Red-tailed hawk, with a six-foot wing span ! I came upon it just as it had me - accidentally! I didn’t know what to do - we were only two feet in front of it !! But it was absolutely magnificent ! 🫢 It had just landed on its prey, still in one claw. I just quietly took little steps back from it to give it room. It stared at me for what seemed an eternity, 👀then slowly turned and flew off. Then I started to breathe again ! But it was the most beautiful creature I ever saw !🫠🇨🇦 Have a good night! 😉
Good morning, Miss Lynn. Our weather is cool in the afternoon and about 45 in the evening. Have a good day and take care, friend. 😺🐇🐦🐞👋❤️💛 Catherine Tucson AZ 10/21/24
@@catherine4092 And a very good morning to you, Catherine ! So glad to hear your very hot temperatures have abated ! 😊 I’ve been binging on some past CBSRMT stories lately. I find that this summer has taken more out of me than normal, and I’m allowing myself to be a little lazy, but there is always something needing doing. I love your ever present sense of happiness, which always shines through in your comments to me ! I appreciate you always finding a moment to say hello ! Hope you and Henry can enjoy more outdoor walks now ! Take care, my friend, and have a very good day !! ❤🤗🫠🐿🐇🦋😺😺🐶

The biggest problem with this show: SAME handful of actors in EVERY episode
I now avoid any episode that features this stock company. 😢
@@brucemarshall3446 I know what you mean. I'm starting to avoid episodes with Fred Gwynne, Russell Horton and Evie Juster.
Much gratitude, Edge. Hope everyone is well & enjoying the season!🎃🍂🍁
Have a great night, all. Sleep well, with many pleasant dreams.

Lovely!
I love wildlife, but we don’t have bears here - raccoons, skunks, and opossums are the trouble ones here !
Wow that would have been so cool. Despite all the hikes, I've never come across a bear. Probably a good thing.
