its such a pleasure to watch someone loving their job and doing their best work as well as you do Anna!
Your client has beautiful nails. I love this look just clean, fresh. Since watching your videos I’m working on my cuticles and they are looking better.
Hello just to let you know that I just left my job and am sitting in the bus watching and enjoying you filling nails ( beautiful client hands btw) videos and am in Paris west suburbs area and I was thinking and realizing that it’s crazy…Good crazy
So one day if you feel not motivated or wondering if your videos are bad or pointless DON’T
Cause somewhere 🌎somebody enjoy your craft and dedication bisous
Ah, so kind of you to say this.. thank you so much :)) Your comment seriously made my day!

Very natural and it goes with every outfit or make up, what I like the best : to give value to the natural somebody s beauty without spending to much money too, so for everyone in the world
Your videos are inspiring me to grow out my damaged nails due to gels and acrylics.
I love this shape too! It's the easiest one for me to do....fortunately it looks good with my hands 😄. Thank you for all the education you give us in your videos....it's definitely helped my nails.
Beautiful! And these nails reminded me of a strategy I learned as a young person that we should shape our nail ends to mirror the shape of our nail shape along the PNF. So this client has very square base of her nails so it looks balanced for her nail ends to be shaped square. I tend to prefer a slightly oval square shape for myself since that matches the base shape of my nail bed. Hope that makes sense! -Jenny
Really amazing results..
The shape is also so good 😍
I love that shape.Looks very polish and neat.
My favorite shape too. Since I've had this shape, my nails no longer split. 🙂
Beautiful nail shape, you’re clients nails looks so good with this shape
Thank you so much 🤗
Thank you for your videos. Very informative and professional.
Thumbs up for your narration & most of the video without music. Using an intensive cream around my nails & pushing the PNF gently has improved the look of my fingernails. The nail plates look more uniform and even. TY
I love this shape, Anna. I'm so glad that after teaching you the technique, that you're using it. 🤣 She seems to have nails that look like mine. Some ridges and her nails seem exactly like mine, in that they file well, but, I'm always left with a lot of skirting on each nail, which drive me crazy. And thet's a very short drive. 😉 I do have to round the edges a bit. They are way too sharpe and I catch them on everything. Thanks for another gr8 vid. - Hugs. Oh, I have to put my file on the table, hold it, and then put my nail on it and file it that way to get a square nail started, then I finish with the file as normal. Hey, MSL, I hope you're living your best life this weekend. (you too, Anna.)
Hi Laurent! Well, I learn from the best 😘
Can you use a little buffer to get the skirts out? You can also just wash your hands, the skirts come out and then get them with the buffer.
Hugs!! 🤗
@@TheSalonLife Oh my gosh, Anna, I have to use both the pointy and angled ends of that glass file, buffer block and my finger nails to try and get rid of those things. Am I filling them wrong? wishing you a Happy Mondayl You too, MSL. Hugs
Thank you for the video. I have naturally square nails with small nail beds and it would drive me crazy when I would get a manicure and first the manicurist would fill my nails in a round shape and then square it out. All that did was make my nails look uneven, especially when they would grow out.
I would love to see you paint this client's nails. They are very similar to mine with some ridging. I don't like my ridges but I know there are ways to work around them. I don't buff, I just currently do 2 coats base, 3 coats transform, 3 coats polish, 1 top coat - all Dazzle Dry.
Anna, would you also use acetone nail polish remover when you just apply base and top coat? I love the look on this client’s nails.
I have been watching your videos for about a month now and I have been focusing of cuticle removal and using oils on a daily basis. My nails look SO much better and healthier!
Wonderful video as always. Like your client, I have a few ridged nails but cannot find Dazzle dry in the UK. What gentle base coat would you recommend, dior or chanel?
Hi Stephanie. Hopefully the UK gets a Dazzle Dry distributor sooner than later. As for the base coat, Dior/Chanel don't exactly have a "gentle" base coat. However, we'd recommend the Catrice nail building base coat. Now, it isn't exactly going to be "building" anything and tends to peel a bit (most nitrocellulose free polishes tend to peel) But it's worth it, they don't yellow the nail and tend to be very gentle.
I hope that helps.
- MSL
Thank you! Can you please do a soft almond/short almond shape on natural nails?
When I get a client who is into that shape I will definitely film it :) My clients are interested in short shapes usually and almond needs to be longer (to get that almond shape)
@@TheSalonLife thank you so much! I'll stay tuned :)
The shape would be like this one. In real life these nails looked more almond but seriously, camera adds weight. 😂

I wear my nails a bit shorter. What is best way to apply polish across tips without getting on skin?
Cuticle protector or just use a brush and acetone to clean the extra polish
Love the super short square nails 💅🏻 but mine seem to break a lot on the sides 😢
How long do the nails have to be to make them sqaure from short round
It depends how round they were and what is the shape and size of the nails. And also how fast they grow.
A thing to remember is that soft shape following the shape of the nail bed is always the strongest. Square nails tend to lose the corners.
@@TheSalonLife true I'll keep them round thanks
sorry, what do u mean by square nails tend to lose the corners?@@TheSalonLife
@@celery6365the corners can break off a lot of the time
@@celery6365she means the chip at the corners mine do every time I do mine square I’m over it so I’m keeping them short round from now on
I have similar situation with my nails breaking longitudinal and is anything I can do to cure it and stope it?
In your other videos you say never file the sides but I notice you always do and say you’re tidying up the sides. Perhaps you can address this on a future video. Pauline D.
Name of nail polish please
Hi Claudia. The items used are in both the video and in the description box. Have a wonderful Friday! - MSL
