wow I guess really getting those combos down makes a world of difference, I was able to beat this game ages ago but I remember sunchips absolutely kicked my ass the first few attempts. nice to see the speedrun doesn't slow down much even when the unintentional mechanics are avoided.
I remember when it first came out we'd play it on break in primary school, it was considered great to complete the game at all, sunchips was a hell of a boss.
