Hi Mate Thank you for very informative video. I did the whole procedure . New key is doing everythings lock unlock ignition on but not starting my mercedes sprinter ? Any advice or suggestion please why its doing like this ?
It could be your key. Sometimes if the key quality isnt good this might happen. Or it might be that there's an underlying condition in the vehicle in the immo system. To be honest its difficult for me to accurately define the problem without logging in to troubleshoot.

Had today a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter 2010 model and there was no OBD port next to fuse box. There was OBD place but no port! I try to find module to do it on bench but what im608 shows on diagram placing of module, it wasn't there. Any idea what might wrong with this van?
Hey Curtis, we bought a IM608 several months back and are still learning. A garage has replaced the computer on MY 2005 sprinter from my old 2006 sprinter and of course now the key won't crank it. Can the IM608 reprogram the truck so it will crank? I saw a video of adding a key, but i'm not near ther truck yet. Thank you for responding. Reid

Im not sure. Usually what I do to give my clients certainty is ill get the VIN number and send it to my engineer. Then he can give me 100 percent certainty. You can ask your supplier to do the same thing
In North American market , can a IM508 with "XP200" be able to add a key to a 2006 Mercedes Sprinter ? IF not, can an IM508 with "XP200" be able to add a key to a 2006 "Dodge" Sprinter?
According to function Viewer on my Maxi SYS Elite the IM 508 should be able to add a key on a Mercedes Sprinter , and no notes that an XP400 is required. I just bought a new IM508 that won't even let me access diagnostics or demo it , can't get around the prompt to connect it to internet before first use and (probably have to immediately register it and start update period). My Elite at least allowed me to try it out a couple times and connect to 10 vehicles before having to register the unit. l don't really need it as a go to diagnostic tool , so until I have a key programming job that my Maxi Sys Elite is unable to perform, it will just have to remain unused in the case even if it takes months to
@@Totoraven I believe it is an IR key in video at 6:00 min in the video being put into a slot that the fob slips into on the XP400 that I don't see that particular slot existss the XP 200, however from what I read , the XP 200 should be able to read IR keys but lacks CAS4 ability of the XP400 or something? www.diagmart.com/blogs/news/autel-im508-a-must-have-key-programmer-scan-diagnostic-tool So on XP200 I see some small anus hole to the left of the main Vagina of the XP I think that might serve the same purpose , but do I just have to hold the the IR remote dead nut centered over the Little IR Anus hole on the XP200 for 30 minutes till the scanner tells me key programming failed , or what?
