I recognise that bladed and sharply pointed hand-tools, ie. saws etc. are important in demonstrating Bushcraft, Survival Skills in a safe designated area or when reviewing or comparing which is best suited for the task and why, whether 'in the field' or online.

It is always 'good practice', to use SOP's - 'Safe Operating Procedures' when using any tool. Please practice, safe & responsible knife/tool ownership, in accordance with any local laws.
Always try to be mindful - a good knife user needs to be proactive, polite and dignified when using a knife in view of others. Avoid un-necessary flourishing movements or anything that might be mis-perceived as brandishing or be seen in a threating manner.

Law:
UK knife law allows you to carry non-locking pocket knives with a blade length up to 3 inches (7.62 cm) without any need for a valid reason.
Knives with a fixed non-folding blade, a folding knife with a blade over 3 inches in length or a folding knife which locks in place require the person carrying such a knife in public (Whatever age), to have good reason for carrying the tool.

Agree! Its a good EDC for the home or office. Nice review buddy... im tempted to go and buy another! 🤔
Fantastic review. I can see you develop and grow a following with reviews like this. Accessing your engineering knowledge and giving your opinion unapologetically which I applaud.
Very kind of you, to say so... thank you very much ✅
I'm not much of a modern designs guy but this particular knife is more like the best of both worlds. Really like the blade shape, it narrows down nicely, very handy when doing a little carving. It's small enough for you to be close in to what you are working on but there's enough chunkiness there that you're confident to dig into what you're working on. The D2 is fantastic and that little bit of jimping is just in the right place. When you're done it weighs nothing and it goes in pocket or pack and you hardly know it's there. It's been a favourite for months now and will take a lot of beating. It's fantastic.
I’m a big fan of this knife. Just ordered it in N690 & Titanium based on your review. Keep em going mate!
Hi Geoff,
Thank you very much, really appreciate you saying so... though I feel I don't deserve such an accolade, as I've not long started - 2/2.5 months actually reviewing... ✅
Your reviews are good mate! I wouldn’t have the confidence to post vids online! So it’s nice to see! 😎
@@geoffwatson8007 that means a lot, I'm going to be posting another one tomorrow, hope you enjoy it, cheers 👍
Just bought one nice video
It's an absolute bargain, for sure! 👌
I appreciate your positive feedback Dan 😉
Atb Gus 👍
Very enjoyable review - the walk and talk does sound lovely, and at this price...bargain!
Thank you very much for saying so... I really appreciate it.
Is there anything that you would like to be reviewed at the moment?
Atb Gus 👍
@@gadgetgus Nothing that I can think of - you're doing a great job of picking up lots of the UK edc options. I've just seen you reviewed the Vagnino Zipslip, so off to check that out now.
@@TheEnglishRedneck45 ok cool... its great to get positive comments, and also good feedback like what you would like to see in the near future or any other ideas you have, which also helps me 'steer' the channel in the right direction...
Atb Gus ;-)
Great review. One of my faves. Got the titanium one too. Back in stock at HH.
Thank you John, much appreciated 👍
Please share the link if you feel there are others who may find it of value...
Atb Gus
Thanks, looks like a very nice piece of kit.
Great review I do have the Luna but I prefer the real steel stella I feel a bit more for the money really nice review 👍
Hi George, thanks for the feedback buddy, I really appreciate it. The Stella is a great knife too, for sure...
What knife would you like me to review in the near future or would you prefer a torch EDC etc...?
Good review mate. I'd had my eye on this and I'll probably end up getting it although I don't really ''need'' it, it's there on my mental list together with the Manly Wasp, Douk Douk petit and Otter Mercator small (slipjoint). Liked and subscribed. Hope you do more uploads, you are up there in terms of quality and style with TX Toolcrib who you've no doubt seen. How about some multitool reviews? Or other EDC gear.
Agree completely! This is an excellently designed and executed knife. I have it in the S35VN Brown Micarta premium edition, and I've put a Heinnie thumb stud at the back of that long pull for singlehanded opening, which it takes really well. At 46g it's just within my parameters for lightweight backpacking too. Cracking value in your G10 Lite guise - less so in my £100+ version!
The brown looks great, but I'm set on the green micarta... one day! :)
Great review sir, I like it so much I've got 3 of them, I got the Heinnie version as well but prefer the original Ti version, more money yes but better materials♥️🔪
Thanks for your informative review, as it helped me make the decision I needed, for part of my husbands birthday... can you review some EDC torches as well please :)
I shall be reviewing some torches in a few weeks, thanks for your insight :)
The rovyvon a3 pro is worth a look, punches way above its size and price👍
HH Luna with the thumb stud is a pretty killer combo
For sure! 😉
Hi, I updated my latest video, which unfortunately deleted your valued comment, any chance of resubmitting it - thanks...
I mostly like this knife but find the half stop at the three-quarter position a bit odd. Real Steel could have done away with the stop, and it would still be fine. I think that Real Steel's heat treatment of D2 is just average. I don't think it holds an edge as well as the D2 on a Boker or the D2 on the Gerber Mansfield swayback. Overall, it's a nice little knife, and I've enjoyed using it. I would rate it as a 7.5/10.
Hey Mike, you raise some fair points... you could be right on the D2 - appreciate the feedback, thanks for stopping by buddy,
Atb Gus👍
Have you tried the Realsteel Stella, another Realsteel designed by Poltergeist Works, really nice knife feels a bit more comfortable in the hand for me than the Luna♥️🔪
I really like the look of that one too Paul - one day brother... 👍
Very late comment I know lol but Is this even uk legal gus ? I got this one in the glow in the dark version for free from hennie Haynes today and am sceptical about the length of the whole blade in law 🥲
@grovesy333
Hey buddy 👊🏼
It definitely was when I reviewed it, but I believe it still is, as the blade is under 3" or 75mm, and it's non-locking... 😉
ATB Gus 👍🏻
