I love Robert . I know he has hurt everyone he loves but it’s just because he is scared to be too close or fall for someone. He never wanted to let his guard down , he didn’t want to be liked or read . He wanted love but he isn’t want the feeling and emotions That’s why I love Robron . Aaron was the only one who understood Robert . They both need each other . Rob spend most of his life loving himself as no one loved him more than anyone else . He was scared , lost , broken and damaged . He just wanted Aaron because Aarons as the only one that understood him .

+H M I must contradict that. Not everyone was cruel to him, but the man who should be there for him and love him, whether he is gay or straight, has violated him. So, over the years, he has been trying to be as he thought he had to be. In order to achieve his goals, he has often used very harsh and hurtful means. Just as he himself said, "If something matters to me, I lie, I cheat, I do whatever it takes." And he also had everything under control .... until the real love intervened.I believe, to me it would be likely as gone out as Aaron. Outwardly I would have certainly tried to protect myself, but inside I would never have stopped to love Robert.
Yes I suppose you're right. Even Jack himself was good to Rob for much of his life. But I feel like the emotional lens at which everybody percieved Robert, as a failure, formulated who he became. There is a cruelty in that.
