Though I'm not really one for showing affection and I definitely wouldn't normally kiss my relatives or friends, I do think especially in my circle there's the other extreme - almost an awkwardness when it comes to showing affection. Im certainly not great at offering affection, but body language and gestures speak volumes and a hug can mean a lot

I really like the concept of reading God's word to the beautiful felines and then speaking about the word (wherever that may lead!) before prayer.
