This is only the second video of yours I've seen-- will be watching the rest now! You're great-- helpful, practical information, good sense, quickly and directly presented. Thank you 👍 people-- if you haven't seen it yet, watch his post-Helene video-- the best-- he'll tell you how to prepare.
The traditions from all over the world on this one are amazing…. Apparently this was known as hobo healer here in part of the US when the hobo culture was so strong…. As you mentioned in the UK farm workers and travelers knew of the use of cleavers….. the Asian lore around its use and meaning is abundant as is the German culture, where I first learned of its value….. great work on this exploration, thank you!
@PalmettoPrepared ❤ First video--Instant Subscriber! Love the way you explain everything, show the plant and where/when to find it. Cured my dad's kidney stones w it. Thank you.
I had no idea...I have picked more cleavers off my shoes/pants than I can recall... I need to add this to my notebook....it's everywhere here in the Pacific NW, has a pretty little flower too.
I didn't either till I bought this book and saw it in there. For years I just tossed it to the chickens. Now I use it as an infusion. And the fact I can eat it like greens is a bonus!
Nice job Anthony. Cleavers grow profusely in my yard. I'll definitely be tincturing some soon once she starts popping up here. Mother Nature must be trying to tell me something since she's providing so much for me.
They will stick to anything. It's good to know when you have a wild edible just hanging out all over if you need it. I was saving that last little bit for dessert lol
I thought you were from the upstate or somewhere in western North Carolina until I noticed your hat 😂 any how I'm going to go walking the property looking for these because I have never paid any attention to this plant. 👍
I'm technically piedmont within the 8 four 6 area code. Surrounded by Clemson fans... these only grow next to the areas I walk often. So the area between my driveway and front door and where I collect eggs at the chicken coop.
@@PalmettoPrepared oh okay I'm in Lugoff, I walked the yard and I don't have any growing on the property thought I would find some by the pond or the garden area but dice. I will keep my eye out for it though thanks for the video 👍

Oh ok know i know what they are. Have them here in oregon and i hate walking through them lol
They can definitely get annoying but at least you know now that you can eat them!

I subbed 😊. So do they just die after spring time?
In my climate yes. We get like 3 and a half months straight of over 90°F. Not much survives after all that

Can’t say I have seen those here but I haven’t been looking for it either.
It's one of those plants you don't notice till you see it clinging to your pant legs when walking through it
Nice Job Anthony. It’s a good one for people to know about
It's so common here I figured people would love an idea on how to use it

I didn't either till I went looking through the books. Wanted to find a use for something so abundant. Remember, nothing ever is a resource

How often can you drink this tea to help with lymphatic notes
2-3 cups of tea a day would be just fine for most people. Personally I've only done one cup a day and feel right as rain
