This is the stoosh and modern twist on Jamaican cuisine that we don't get to see very often. Not a traditional dutch pot in sight but that's ok- we get to see a creative version of the island food scene!😋
Most are not original Jamaican cuisine, thus the festival shouldnt be called Jamaican food festival. Most of the people there are not even Jamaicans by nationality or birth, so they are showcasing their country food.

I did a review on Sheriff last year and because I only have a limited time to film which is from the start of the event until music starts to play (TH-cam will flag for copyright) we tried other vendors that we didn't get a chance to try last year.
No sorry only had a limited time to shoot as the music started loud and TH-cam would flag us for copyright. We had to film early so many of the other spots weren't ready when I got there
As a fellow Jamaican who was born in the country, I have to say I love my culture and especially our food. But as we know these foods are killing us daily, so we have to start eating more healthy foods. I had to make that drastic change or else I would have been dead. 6 trips to the ER with HBP. I already lost a parent and some of you that's here as well, to these easily avoided diseases. If we don't start doing better it's only a matter of time before it will catch up with us all . Thank god I saw the light before too late. hope you can do the same.
I think It should be Trinidad and India food since most Trinidadians are Indians. Maybe black people in Tobago would have similarities to Nigerian food, but they hardly showcased those food.
@@sportreelz7025 from my research about 30 or 35% of Trinidad is Indian and the same amount for blacks. The other 30% could be European, Chinese or mixed race.
What’s up with Born Jamaica vendors. When I watch videos from around the world I see those videos vendors are local from the country, when I watch your videos you’re promoting Europeans vendors in Jamaica. There shouldn’t even be euro vendors in Jamaica. I guess I have to go to Yaard Style to see real Jamaica videos. Im sad to say Brotha you get a thumbs down.
