  • A custom built console using pc wing installed and self built console in an events company near where I live.
    In the current economic market this started as their best option to gain a how powered, profesional looking and cost effective lighting desk but in the end the have created a very slick, operator friendly console.
    Its mixed in english and spanish, all is subtitled so everybody should understand.

    Genuinely the best build of its kind that I've seen. Ive been wanting to do something like this with other software for a long time.

    Very nice work and implementation! Interesting video, both from a MagicQ standpoint, and also from an embedded application setup view in MS OS. I find good views of the bblean menu.rc setup at 6:47 and 7:05.

    becuase we (both they and I independently) have been having stability issues with magicqpc on linux.. also you need windows for using two screens and winamp for timecode and various other issues.

    yeah agreed! unfortunately the video was done in the spurr of the moment with small household camera that they had.. I´d far rather've done it with my d3200 and/or the hf g10... plus mixer bag and get some radio mics on.. it was a cheapy camera that didnt even have a mic in or stablizer etc etc... and its really grainy from signal gain.. yuk. Hope you enjoyed the rest of it though!

    How have you guys made chamsys boot into the PANEL view?
    My version always boots in Full Panel, I would like it to boot into Maxi Wing panel.

    Hello, looks really cool but cant find out how he starts chamsys in bblean automatic. He uses instant sheller to start bblean, but how does he start chamsys in bblean auto?
    Hope you can point me in the right direction.

    Why not do a dual boot if you get a linux distro that supports all of this?

    Where did they get the DMX outputs from? And how are they connected?

    Looks wonderful but the big question is how much did it actually cost. Because you are essentially just building a rubbish version of an MQ100. If it knocks 5k off the price though you might have a few takers

    Would you be willing to make this open source? Maybe post plans online?

  • @ceecrb1
    @ceecrb1  11 ปีที่แล้ว

    No, and it doesnt seem to actually exist, A problem both lost in translation and due to 2nd hand information.
    They do have a LOT of photos that I am waiting to recieve and I will need to upload them myself, but due to the nature of our jobs we´re having a problem finding a moment that we are both even in the same city, let alone free to meet and swap photos.

    How did you guys get the output into dmx? Been looking into trying to control chamsys on computer via a Behringer Xtouch. Can it be done?

    • @ceecrb1
      @ceecrb1  8 ปีที่แล้ว

      Both questions have the same answer. With ChamSys official gear.
      The dmx output in this case comes from one of their pc wings built into the final unit. Also to get midi controllers to work with chamsys you need any of their blue hardware or their new usb dongle to get magicq out of demo mode.
