I first realized I had ASMR when repair people would work on something in my house, starting as a kid . . . not banging or sawing or loud noises, but working with screwdrivers and ratchets and such, trying to fit something, just the purposeful light tapping, turning, using a tape measure, marking with a pencil . . . close work. I would be lulled into a dreamy state, not knowing why it was so soothing, and hating it when they were finished. Were you like me? I didn't know hot to explain it, so I never mentioned it to anyone.
I have said this before, but I have to say it again. I am 21 and recently have been suffering from severe nightly panic attacks that had gotten so bad a doctor had to put me on tranquilizers. I tried so many other ASMR videos, but Gibi has been the only one to actually calm me. I haven't had to medicate myself in months. It has been such a freedom to not need them. These videos have saved my mental health and I am so thankful for how much it has helped me.
