People use ASMR for different reasons, but I try to make every video one that you can fall asleep to (you're more than welcome to watch for whatever reason you like though!). I specifically make videos for people who have an overactive mind, adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed. I believe the neurochemicals in all of these mental states look very similar and my style of ASMR aims to bring balance to those neurochemicals. I'm not a neurologist, psychologist, or professional of any medical/science field whatsoever. I just have a lot of experience with stress, anxiety, and adhd so I perceive the world and ASMR through that lens. So, if you like faster asmr with a variety of sounds and triggers in every video, then you should hopefully enjoy these videos... and if you have adhd, anxiety, insomnia, depression, or are actively stressed then I hope you can find relief here.

What is ASMR?
Autonomous sensory meridian response (ASMR) is a term used for an experience characterized by a static-like or tingling sensation on the skin that typically begins on the scalp and moves down the back of the neck and upper spine. It has been compared with auditory-tactile synesthesia. ASMR signifies the subjective experience of "low-grade euphoria" characterized by "a combination of positive feelings and a distinct static-like tingling sensation on the skin". It is most commonly triggered by specific acoustic (tapping/brushing/whispering) and visual stimulation (hand movements/lights/etc)

I really appreciate your videos Marno, I actually feel tingles and relaxed while watching your videos, as other asmrtists spend a bit to long on a trigger, for me to thoroughly enjoy them. I have very bad social anxiety which can lead to insomnia so I usually find myself awake for hours into the night but these really help me fall asleep by at least 2 to 3 am. Which is better than before, believe it or not. So thank you very much 💕
IPHONE TIP
Make sure mono audio isn’t on! That makes it sound like the left and right channels aren’t individual.
To turn it off, go into settings, then General, then accessibility and scroll a little before seeing “Mono Audio”. Turn that off and enjoy the tingles!
Edit: since the settings have changed, the instructions are now:
Go into settings, scroll until you see Accessibility, the once you click that, scroll down to find Audio/Visual, then look for Mono Audio. Thanks to “Riley Mochari” for reminding me about the update.

The invisible mics are so good because u can see the asmrtist’s hands working but it must be hard to work with them since, u know, you can’t see them :/
