- I've received some bad news and I became very emotional. I also show you how to make sloe gin, and I make a box of happiness for a friend who is having a tough time.
I contemplated whether or not to include the part where I am crying, as I know there are much worse things going on in the world, but I want to be open and honest with you. This situation is frustrating and I thought I was dealing with it all well, but that silly song (let's blame it on the song) made me realise that I needed a good cry!

Lucy, please hear me on this: there's No shame in being upset over something you can't control and i know that all the people you invited who are now not able to attend will understand because they know it's Not your fault. please don't beat yourself up over it ok? you had no way of knowing that the government was going to crack down again with the restrictions, there's no way you could have predicted that so, please don't be so hard on yourself, it's not your fault. and also, i'm pretty sure Will totally understands as well that you can't help what the government decides to do so, please don't worry yourself ok? but again, there's No shame in crying because that's totally normal to do, especially when something unexpected happens that we wish wouldn't have but, either way, it is what it is. keep your head up high Lucy, it'll be ok ( ----- Big Hugs ----- )
My humble suggestion: have your small, wedding ceremony only this year and get it done. then the Big party whenever that becomes possible, and that is an unknown.

Hi Lucy, don't feel stupid or pathetic for feeling sad about your wedding. You put so mutch time, effort, money and heart into planning this day, that it's only fair to feel disappointed and sad about having to postpone it or alter it in any way.
My partner and I had a wedding planned for 29 AUG this year in Poland and because of the pandemic, it was a true rollercoaster of emotions. We decided not to postpone in. Some of our friends and family sadly could not come due to travel restrictions, but it was a right decision for us.
You WILL have your special day, if not this year, then next year! All the best for you and Will! :)

Hi Lucy ! I always enjoy both of your channels, and this vlog series are one of my favourites. I love seeing how calming ,soothing the ambience is in the countryside, and how adorable and beautiful you are with your loved ones. I love the way you appreciate everything around you. To me you seem to put on a brave front and be professional in front of a camera as much as possible, although it depends on you if you show it to your audiences or not, but crying itself is an essential thing for us mentally and physically. By the way, just a thought it could be a lovely idea to have a small pre-wedding with only two of you. Like setting a few candles around you at night, with flowers, something like that.

Every now and then, it's important to show your emotions: sensitivity is as great as sensibility. Wedding is a milestone in a couple's life and it deserves even a big party, if that makes you both feel happy. I used to donate blood a lot in the past, though I'm scared of the process and of the blood itself. Then I got used to it and also started thinking of it as "mind over matter". But last year I needed to give some blood for the test. I skipped "drink some water before giving blood" part, and proceeded to the test, but I didn't expect that it would be that much blood. So I just passed out😁 Don't forget to drink some water before the donation.

It's completely ok to be sad about what you were being upset about , you definitely are not being silly and didn't have to put it in the vlog but your incredibly brave for doing so who doesn't want a big wedding my wife and i were married last year it was a small modest affair and it was the most beautiful day ever.
My point whether you make it big, small lavish or modest its your day make it how you both want it, so yeah that's it.
And yes covid has a lot too answer for but that is where we are at sadly.
